I found this one last year, but left logging it until I could go back with the children. We finally managed to get there, with some first time geocachers in tow, and found that the tree had gone. We were muggled by the owner of the property, who was very helpful and it transpired he had chopped the tree the previous day, without noticing the geocache. He showed me where the felled tree was and he helped us to search for it, but we couldn't find the cache.

I came up to Auckland for a week - to catch up with everyone, but also working at the Auckland office of work for the week. About time though too, as I had last been in Auckland November last year! Oh how time flies!
Arranged with slieschke to meet up after work and go do a bunch of caching while up here!
Was struggling until slieschke read out the log about not expecting to go behind the fence... oh - what? So I went. Felt a bit dodgy though!
Consec caching day # 729

Found out for a "spot" of caching on the shore with sonia26642. This took some searching, which was eventually narrowed and found by sonia26642 after reading previous logs.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Was not expecting to have to look behind fence ! Hope no dogs around ! Cute container ....name now makes sense !
Very nearly went blind, just couldn't see it until I went behind the fence.. isn't that private property!
Popped out at lunchtime to nab this one. Such a lovely day. Managed to find somewhere to park just briefly. Nice and quiet around here in the day. Quick find. Like the container. SL. TFTC.
First of the day after an orienteering event at Woodhill this morning
Parked nearby off the road on a grassed layby. Quick find after reading the description, cool hide, could easily have missed it!

Going for a evening hunt came across this cache and it took a while but eventually read the clue and found it TFTC!
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
Clever hide, had not seen something like that before. See rebel98 log. Thanks again for the hide.

Walked up to GZ to find new fence erected and nearby tree felled. Debris from tree and earth removal suggested the cache maybe gone. Looked at the clue, opened eyes wider, and .... cache was still there. No need to worry about nearby changes, its here! Unfortunately log book soaked, and mushy. I have replaced with a small sheet of paper, sealed in a plastic bag. Given it a fav point for ingenuity! Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
Our doing a spot of caching, not going blind found cache, but saturated log couldnt sign.tftc
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We spent the day picking up some caches in the suburbs along the Upper Harbour highway, through Hobsonville, Greenhithe and Unsworth Heights. We soon spotted the cache and grabbed it - the log sheet was a bit damp and mouldy, but we managed to sign it, but it is starting to fall apart. Another nice hide, TFTC!

Out and about for a Sunday drive (yep, I know its Saturday) and finding a few easy drive-by caches. Log was wet and I could not sign it. Thanks.
Out for a MEGA day of geocaching with Earthbound Chief & Co. A quick easy find. TFTC.
After doing the Okura Walkway this morning, no I wasn't finding caches but placing one, I decided I needed to find one or two or three or four or five or six. This is the sixth in the series down Greenhithe way. Parked on the other side of the road.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
The title of this cache is very apt!
It took one team member to search an area previously searched by his colleague before this one was secured!
Am giving this cache a favourite point as it is an innovative hide!

Super quick find here during an afternoon of caching in the sun. Intriguing cache placement!
Owner has checked the cache placement and it was out of place, now in place and looking good.TPK
Nice bit of camo but definitely not placed as the cache page suggests. Had a quick look a couple of nights ago in the rain, but gave up in search of a quicker find. After reading evilno9's log we returned this evening and spotted the cache once the GPS settled. TFTC.
Spent a bit of time looking for this one amongst the neighbour's dogs having a bark at us and it was only when we looked on the ground and not in the trees that the cache was spotted. Cache is in good condition though as it's not where the page says it should be it seems like it's been moved recently. Rested the cache up against one of the trees while trying to maintain its camo. 11773… Well we hope not….. Quickly located after adjusting our focus, many thanks for some more awesome camo.
Good not going blind today, must have had the other set of eyes in (not the ones that look for the keys and can't find them)

Kids saw this from the car but I couldn't see it for looking!!! Nice work on the camo.
Bit of creative parking required, then wait out the constant stream of walkers and runnersbefore finally a quick find.

Parked in Bernard Magnus Place and wandered along to the two nearby caches. Found a pencil on the ground which made it easier to locate where the cache was hidden. Loved the camo and for once we aren't going blind. TFTC
We did another trip to Greenhithe after work for our daily find fix. Not ideally dressed for caching we were glad there was not too much of a scramble to find this cache. The local doggle did make it's presence known but soon went quiet! Cache name made sence once it was found. Good effort. TFTC.
Title now makes sense-very clever!Initially a bit put off by the noisy dogs nearby but perserverance paid off-tftc
These new caches got published just at the right time for me - having done a whole lot of mega event work this weekend including a bunch of technical issues tonight. Nice timing meant I could head out the door and grab a couple of new caches as my reward. Nice hide here, that I spotted quickly once I was looking in the right direction. FTF #1368 TFTC!!!
