Meeting up with a couple of mates for a hike in Bungendore Park and had arrived to the area early so grabbed this cache before heading to the trailhead. Must come back for the rest another day.

Spent the afternoon on a pleasant walk doing Boulderdash and a few surrounding cache. It took just under 3 hours for 17 finds and 2 dnfs.

Teamed up with Photo-Play today for a couple of hikes around Bedfordale. This was our first stop of the day and a fairly quick find. Carried out some maintenance on the way as suggested by the CO on the GC WA Facebook page yesterday - very timely! Thank you for the cache Granett.

Found myself out at the Wungong Dam this morning to fly my drone. Decided to grab a couple of caches whilst here.
Still a little 'gun shy' about leaving my car after being broken into a few weeks ago but no need to worry today.

A short stroll, a short search, found cache, stamped and returned as found.

Looking at the listing “Created by: Granett” and the geocaching map under satellite mode, my first impression: oh no it’s going to be like Granett’s Star War Series . But, when I came here, it was so much different! Terrain is clear and tracked! This series is most forgiving . Found all 17 caches of the series and therefore, 2 favourite points are in order here. The 1st being for this cache. Found AP 551 Boulderdash. TNLN SL TFTH Granett.

Thanks for this great cache trail. Up in Perth for the day to do airport pick up. With some time on my hands I decided to do this trail. Great use of different cache containers which where all well maintained. Found them all in good condition and with accurate GPS positions. Parked the car close to AP 551 which was well hidden from the road as description did mention the fact that cars get broken in to at the dam car park.
After doing the last cache in was only a short 1.2 km walk back to the car which was a bonus. This series gets a fav point from me. TFTC Granett

This is my find #2447 and find #4 today.

Headed out this morning to finally make an assault on the Boulderdash series as I hear their life may be limited and have been on my to-do list for a long time. Started off about 8:00am and was all done and dusted about three and half hours later with no DNF's.

All in all a nice stroll with only a couple of major ups and downs. I made sure that R0gue's logs were saved on the phone before I left which came in handy at a couple of spots.

Last one and a quick find before heading back to the car.

Allied Pranksters I found your cache at 10:59am, this was the 17th of 19 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 3065. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

This is a series I have wanted to do for a long time, but just never seemed to get the time, or got distracted by other caches closer to home. Well, today was the day! A day that promised 25-50mm of rain seemed like an excellent day for a hike in the bush.

After finding the original Boulderdash first, I then parked the car at the end of Godwit Retreat, right by AP 566, and started my loop from there, heading directly into the bush, so that I could finish on the downhill bitumen section.

I actually found pretty much every cache hard to find, with my GPS sending me all over the place and eventually I would find the cache some 10m away from where it was sending me, I guess the rain was playing havoc with it. I was pleased to find all with the exception of the first one.

I DNF'd the first cache at 10:40am, and DNF'd it again at 2:23pm. Most caches took me an average of 20 minutes to find with the exception of a couple of the micros.

The last one for the series, except for the first one down the road that I couldn't find. It was a nice quick find here to finish off the series, and I just realised this is Find #7000 for me (GC + GCA)! On my way back to the car I saw a group of kangaroos, one with a joey.

TFTC! Teamed up with JLotsos today to tackle the Boulderdash series in Bedfordale. Was a very nice approx 6km walk, with only 1 DNF. Was great to complete a lovely walk with a well maintained series to match. Thanks AP.

Headed out for some caches today with Barnzy12. Today's track was the Boulderdash series. Parked up near start and final and headed off.

A fantastic clear track that surprises me hasn't attracted more finds. Nathan boy aged 9 had a great time and I encourage more of you to enjoy this beautiful part of the bush

Another cache which I had been to previously that I chose to revisit whilst visiting the Wungong Dam with the kids... This time the cache was found in the first spot I looked, just where we expected it to be

Came out to the Wungong Dam area to hunt down the Boulderdash series and a couple of other caches nearby. The roughly 7km walk took three hours with no DNFs.

The great cache trek begun early enough and with the boulder dash series in our sights the Overington clan and I were in hot pursuit! We had a few muggle family to make the clan bigger a tribe of 8 and the geohound set out to enjoy the bush and grab some smileys
With the geocars at the car park we trekked up to 563 for the first find of the day easy enough. Traveling up to 564, 565, 566 before making our way through the series in order I Suggest this is a nice way to head as the path can be steep - the hardest part being the last great hill you catch a glimps at it on the path at 563. Having lots of sets of eyes made for quick finds and quite a few laughs!
Enjoyed the novelty caches with quite a few having us jumping back.
2 DNF for the day.

Great BBQ facilities feed the clan and every one went home with plans of the next great cache trip !

Found this after disturbing a big boomer and upsetting a few ants in the process. What an awesome tree! Had a near miss on the way back out again with a mob of kangaroos who decided to jump out in front of the car.

Headed up into the hills today with MNS13 & our two young'uns with a plan to do the Boulderdash series! After parking my car at #566 we made our way to this cache with MNS13 before our starting the trail... We were greeted by kangaroos & the kids were entertained here whilst we searched for the cache

Unfortunately we could not find it today! Oh dear, I hope this is not a bad omen for the rest of the day TFTH Allied Pranksters!

Headed out here today with my little offsider, and met up with Janine and little Tyler.
Overall we had a fairly average day in the finds department, but for the most part the walk was enjoyable, not the greatest start to our hunt, but oh well. Thanks for the hunt

We had been eyeing these caches off for some time, and today we went for it.
With a 5.30am start, it was a cool walk with great views, along the trails through the hills.
All were well hidden and in good condition.

We required a cache today to close out another day on our caching statistics calender and thought it was a suitable time to try for this series before the weather becomes too warm for stroles around the bush. We commenced our circuit here and following three circuits of the tree, made the find. Thats one down the calender requirement is satisfied but we are just too happy to consider returning to the vehicle just yet. We really enjoyed most of the walk (the down hill part) and the wildlife and floral display was bountiful. TFTC Allied Pranksters

I have had this series lined up for some time now and today was the day that the stars aligned and I had some free time to turn these green boxes into smileys. .
There were a variety of caches (some made me jump a little [:0]) and hiding spots along with some very friendly roos between 551 and 553 . Most of the caches were easy finds (although my GPS was a little jumpy at some spots) and I loved the effort (read up hill and down dale) required to get around them all. TFTC and series Allied Pranksters.

On approach of our first cache we were up close to a kangaroo (about 3m away) and we hadn't even noticed. So glad geodog was on his leash! He wanted to chase, but we kept him short. We saw joey go back in pouch and then we noticed a whole field full of roos! I know they can be a pest sometimes, but they look so very cute! TFTC

Today the wife was at work the kids in school and the weather man said it was going to be a glorious day. This series has been on my to-do list along with many others for ages, so today was the day.

I parked the car close to a riding school driveway close to a bridle track sign in the hope to deter any would be thieves, plus it was at a doable distance from my planned final cache, It turned out to be slightly under a 1km walk back after the final find for the day.

Today I found 16 Boulderdash caches and one gong cache for a total of 17, covering 5.6km in some very nice bush, all taking a little less than 2 hours. Not 1 DNF tho there was a couple I spent too long looking for and a couple I just plain stumbled onto them with blind luck.

Spring has indeed sprung and the bush was alive with so many insects and animals, I lost count of the different types of bird and lizards I spotted, along with a healthy dose of Kangaroos, some sheep and a young lass on a horse who trotted by while I was looking for a tiger, I just kept still and low so she was none the wiser.

A quick find and off I went with a spring in my step to the next one, gee I hope they are all this easy to find I thought naively thinking maybe Allied Pranksters was slipping in his old age...

This was the last cache for the afternoon walk.
I've never been along these bridle paths before. They are an enjoyable winter walk but would Probably be hot in summer.

Didn't really set out with a plan, just to walk the Boulderdash series and then see where the day took us.

This was the first Cache of the day.

Despite the overcast conditions Kyzabra took the very bold move of setting out in "shirt sleeve order",
me I wrapped in my Bear GRYLLS waterproofs !!!

A big day out had been planned for a while with The Machman.
The plan was Boulderdash, and then a few around the area to fill in the day.
Well, a few more turned the day into 37. And not a DNF amongst them.
This was the starting point for us. A car parked at each end and off we went.
The weather looked like it was holding off.
Here we go. And we found this pretty quick.

This was my first find of the day here so many kangaroos about, quite happy to watch us from a distance. Loved the big old tree, another great series from Allied pranksters great work and a favourite from us.

Found with richlink. The girls team grabbed this cache while the boys were getting organised to chase the rest of the series. Thanks for the challenging series Allied Pranksters.

While teaching nearby I managed to find this 1 to keep my august day's going. Was quizzed by a muggle as I rounded GZ. Conversation continued into an explanation of the game. She seemed interested and accepted I wasn't a wierdo! TFTC!

Used all my Triple P training (Parental Powers of Persuasion) to get geoson out of bed and in the car before he realized he was being hijacked. I don't think it is asking too much for us to have just a few hours together, enjoying the scenery and the wildlife, while finding a cache or two. This series has been on the radar since it was published. Today was the day and I set out with geo-wife and geo-dog. Parked the geo-Camry on Springfield Road close to AP 551 and walked the loop from there. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon ... nice views, good exercise, lots of birds and roos to be seen and some fun caches as well.

We had this cache in hand fairly quickly on arrival at GZ. SL. TNLN. TFTH Allied Pranksters

[:(!] Went for an afternoon of caching to do the Boulderdash Series and fitted in a few extra ones along the way, parked the geocar as close as possible to GC4DX3A (AP556 Boulderdash) and walked the rest of the way, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

The dogs and I needed a nice walk in the bush today, weather was perfect and I had a couple of hours to spare. Parked the car half way up the hill and followed the bridal path.
Dogs enjoyed this area as much as I did. Lots of roos about even half way through the afternoon.
I think this series deserves a favorite point.

Looking forward to do the rest of the series.

Well our journey was over (sadly) The highlight for me was seeing all the kangaroos - mothers, mother with joey in pouch, young kangaroos & a couple of worried Dad's when they saw us I have never seen so many kangaroos in one place ever Skippy46 found this one quickly (fitting really). Out on a day of caching with Skippy 46 and Luna Maya and we decided to tackle the Boulderdash series. We decided to do it in reverse like previous cachers had done and im glad we did otherwise we would have had to climb up some steep hills even though going down the hills in certain places was quite slippery. We had a very successful days with no DNFS and we picked up a couple of other caches on the way. Most caches were quick finds and there was a couple that took about 15 minutes of searching to locate them. With a good track to walk on and a variety of contaners to look for it made it a very enjoyable day of caching. Walking up to this cache we saw a very big family of kangaroos, they were everywhere so we stopped for a few minutes so luna maya could take some pictures. Once at GZ we made a quick find and with a bit of time to spare we can look for a few more caches on the way home. Have to give you a favourite point for the series TFTC Allied Pranksters

Out on a caching run with Ooh Yeh and Luna Maya to attempt the Boulderdash series. I thoroughly enjoyed this series with the variety of cache containers and a FABULOUS walk trail with FANTASTIC views. We had a great day with no DNFs, and highly recommend this to everyone who loves the bush.
This is the final one in the series for us and we were greeted along the way by a very large mob of kangaroos. The daddy ones scared us at one point when he either a) beat his chest at us, or b) was scratching an itchy chest. We just gave him plenty of room and hurried on to the cache.
Quick find here and were very happy to have finished the series having found them all.
Awarding you a point for the very enjoyable series and thank you Allied Pranksters for bringing us to another area of our beautiful bushland.

A white pen?!! Well, I had to give it a try while waiting for MDV to arrive on foot. This final section of 4 caches were the only that I'd recommend by bike and even then it's not worth the hassle. A quick find as the final cache then off to the car which was stashed behind a bush only 140m away. TFTC AP.

There were a lot of dogs barking as we walked up the road to the end of the trail to get to this cache and then we came across a family of kangaroos just off the road that allowed Chwiliwr to take a photo of them before moving off.

Cache was found soon after without problems.

On a cool sunny morning the newly released Boulderdash series was to much to resist. Nothing better than walking through the bush searching for geocaches and as luck would have it I had *FTF* on all caches bar the one I could not find. An easier one after the previous one.
