Down the coast for an orienteering weekend at Broulee. After this morning's event, I attempted to find all the nearby caches. Unfortuntaely no luck here.

Think it has gone... our second good look while in the area. The canoe tree is quite interesting.
Really interesting tree. Swedes on vacation in Australia. Found together with LBTW and in order to save space we logged as team LT. TFTC. Greetings to from
Found together with Threefoot on holiday, we logged as Team LT just to save space in the loggbook. Greetings from Sweden . TFTC
Have driven past this Canoe Tree in the past, but only once before I believe, so was good to actually make the stop and find this cache today
The cache presented itself fairly quickly after checking out some options.
Thanks!

This was an easy cache to find after noticing it sticking out a little bit. The canoe tree is interesting and we were pleased to come here to see it. Thanks go to KTCvic for placing this cache.
Had a very good day out today with goingplaces2 and found a lot of fun caches. Some were harder to find, some imaginative, some were easy, but all were very enjoyable. TFTC.
Interesting place enjoyed the Broulee Canoe Tree by KTCvic
I love discovering Geocaches, Trackable items and collecting Pathtags. I have added your cache to my growing list of “Found It” logs. I hope that you enjoy Geocaching as much as I do. For me geocaching is a way of life. When I am not Geocaching, I am thinking of Geocaching. I would like to say a very big than you for placing your geocache and for maintaining it for the Geocaching Community. In 2019, I won the right to place a Virtual 2.0 Cache from Geocaching.com, but I have not placed it yet. I am just trying to find somewhere that is worthy of a Virtual Cache.
Here is a little information about me. I have been geocaching since 2015. At the time of finding this cache I have over 5600 finds plus 340 hides. I am the creator of the “Duck Dip” Lab Cache that won 2nd Place for the Australian Capital Territory in the State Vs State - Battle of the Lab Caches at the OzGeoMuster - The Gong Mega 2019 in Wollongong, Australia.
Now let’s talk Pathtags. Currently I have over 4600 Pathtags in my collection plus about 500 Etagz. I currently have two of my own Pathtags (45762 & 46950) with another one in the works.
I have included with my Found It log an Original and One of a Kind, Geocaching poem that I have written. I hope that everyone who reads it gets some enjoyment out of it.
Geocache Poem by DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
Screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.
I am currently writing very detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author". This Badge challenges geocachers to write logs with an average length of more than one hundred words per log. As of the 14th August 2019 my average Found It log is 125 words per log. I would like to get all my logs up to more than 200 words per log but I will have to wait and see how I go. Currently I am just trying to get my average up by finding and logging as many geocaches as I can. My apologies to anyone who finds my lengthy logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain the highest level with this challenge. After more than 5,800 geocaches (which includes all cache finds up and including this cache, I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task very soon. Progress has been better than anticipated.

Managed a quick find here. Thank you for bringing me to this very interesting spot. The log is getting pretty full - I signed in the margins at the top of the sheet.

We cycled up from the caravan park, as we are staying a few nights to geocache and sightsee and snorkle around here. We spent a few minutes geogroping in spots up high, scaring spiders and ourselves. Then we spotted it in plain sight. Very good. A FP. TFTC
#4786 42nd for today
A beautiful warm summer's day out at the coast with CBRChic for company. It was going to be too warm in Canberra so I chose an escape today. All quiet out at the coast now school holidays are over. Lots of relaxed grey nomads hanging around. We started with some caches between Mogo & Moruya, heading out to the south Moruya headland for some wonderful sights and interesting caches.. We grabbed some local fish & chips for lunch before heading back over the river and up to the start of the bike trail up to Broulee along the coast. A quick dip at Broulee before heading home topped off a wonderful day out. Thanks to my travel companion CC for today and Geosnag1 for the wonderful dinner once we got home about 8pm.
Last one for the day. Still on our bikes from the trail before turning around. An interesting spot.
Thanks to the COs: KTCvic

Headed to the coast with fitzy_1965 and the geo-kids, B0tmun, Death Killer & my_name_jeff_1.
Met up with others from Canberra and surrounds to make the caching trek from Moruya to Broulee then continued on caching by ourselves for the rest of the weekend. Stayed in Moruya overnight, where our tent ended up with several holes due to a southerly buster, but the night was made better by the dghoffy team dropping by for nibbles and a chat.
All caches found quickly including this one.

I found this at least 3-4 years ago but forgot to log. So back I go today and sign again. This time I am logging. Cache in good condition. TFTC
This find was very clever. Didn’t take long as we had an expert with us. The sign was interesting and gave a good background. Very interesting!
What an interesting place and how valuable to have it here for all to share. Clever hide. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
We really enjoyed looking at and reading about this tree. Reasonably accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks KTCvic for the cache.
short stop to have a look at the interesting tree, which i wouldn't have seen without the cache. TFTC!
Great hiding spot, tasks for taking us somewhere we would have just driven past! Adam & Kahlia
It is a very cool tree. We have driven past here lots of times and never stoped before. It was great learning about our indigenous history. TFTC.
Good spot and finally got to see what this tree is all about after driving past for the last 11 years!

Found!!! So excited- thanks for bringing us here and teaching us this little bit of history!
Crystal Warrior and I were down the coast for a couple of days and had a day out and about punctuated by the occasional cache as we pottered along checking out the sights.
It's always great when you get an good excuse to stop, cache and learn something interesting! Thanks KTCvic

Spending another day exploring this beautiful region. My aim was to get to Moruya finding as many caches as possible along the way. As we drove past I said to my geowife, "I bet there's a cache there!". I stopped and checked and sure enough, there was. I backtracked a few hundred metres and began a search. I went around a few times before the obvious cache was discovered and retrieved. My moniker has now been entered into the log. Thanks KTCvic for highlighting this spot.

Mrs.K. Spied this one first I looked quickly at the GZ then the GPS sent me elsewhere while I was looking there she saw it . Signed logsheet my shortened username "KFAU" 27/01/2018, 3:15 PM and replaced all as found,KTCvic - TFTC.

Second time we’ve visited the spot. First time we couldn’t find anything. This time it literally took 5 seconds
15,355. Found during a meander around the south coast with specimenX on a hot hot weekend.
A last minute plan was hatched to spend the weekend away from the Canberra mega-heat and put up with the coast heat with specimenX. This was the next stop along the way. Parked nearby and quickly came up with the cache. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks KTCvic !!

I looked in a few spots without luck, then a police car arrived! The friendly policeman asked if I wanted to know where it was, and pointed me in the right direction. Good outcome!
The main thing I like about geocaching is seeing things you wouldn’t normally see. I don’t know how many times I’ve been past it his spot without stopping. TFTC
It was a quick stop at this historic spot, having driven past many times in the past.
Battery was low so final GZ was found by eye only, funny that.
Thanks for the fun stop.

Found with Shelley0 on our great week in and around BB. Fishing, swimming, golfing, rockhopping, and generally touring around this great part of the country. So, so jealous.

What I brilliant hiding spot! Taught us to always pick apart everything you see. TFTC.
We were able to impart some education to the Spiderhouse crew here. I have had this one as draft for six months and had forgotten about it. Better late than never eh!
On our way back to Nowra with WEEO. How fascinating, never thought about what such a scar on a tree trunk was caused by. Certainly would not have thought about Aborigines carving out canoes. WEEO found this one while we were still examining the tree.
Thanks KTCvic.

Quick park and grab! Thanks for making me stop here, we have driven past so often but never knew!
They have done a good job here highlighting this interesting spot but I wonder how many people actually stop to check it out. At least with a geocache here a small proportion of the population will now do that.
A very interesting tree but we curse the vandals who painted it!! Sounds like this tree has had a few lucky escapes too.
A nifty little hide that deserves a favourite point for getting us to stop at this location. Thanks.

We were travelling around and taking in the sights when this cache popped up on the map. It didn't take us to long to find the cache in good order.
