After multiple pafs and searches I still have nothing to show for this. Given im not the only one this could be due a check
Searched twice - second time with a hint from paf confirming my suspicion of container and host. Still came up empty handed. Suspect this one may need a check up.
After catching up with a friend along Pako I thought Id take a look at this cache. Found the plaques easily and amused a muggle as I scribbled away on my notebook at each one and did the math for coordinates. Waited for a few muggles on bikes to pass by and then it was time to try and find the cache. I spent a bit of time looking around but didnt seem to see the cache before more muggles came to stay. Will try again soon!
I've popped in a couple of times over the past month or two to try to find this one. Can't uncover it.
Always assuming that I have my GZ coords right... Next time I'm passing through, I'll give those another go.
Always assuming that I have my GZ coords right... Next time I'm passing through, I'll give those another go.
I found the answers on the plaques but couldn't locate the cache. I am unsure what the reference to a bushfires tool bag means.
A very well maintained area that seems to get a lot of use. I had to wait for the perfect time to reach this cache
I have to come back with the kids, I didn't know there was a playground here. Thanks Jenno for replacing the bag and log!!!

Thanks heaps, ozbob!
We had solved this cache some time ago. We had collected the required information on a particularly rainy day and worked out the coordinates in the comfort, warmth and dryness of home.
Today we were out and about taking some library books back and grabbing some new ones, and we drove to where we needed to be to find this cache.
We were fortunate that we were the only ones in the area so that we could look for the cache in peace.
The cache is in excellent condition. Thank you to the previous cacher for replacing the bag; everything was dry as a bone.
Thank you for this cache, ozbob.

I would hate to say how long ago I solved this one. So I was very pleased to be able to come find it today. Nice straight forward hide but the poor old log had seen better days … so I replaced the bag and log and it’s much better tftc
Lovely park here. Last find with my partner in crime! Logbook is saturated.
Today I teamed up with Posums for a day of caching fun in Geelong. Lots of caches, laughs and fun. Thanks to all the cache owners who placed these fabulous containers for us to find.

Headed down to to Geelong for another day of laughs, fun and of course hopefully finding a few caches.
Geelong has put on another great day of weather for us to be out and about touring the town.
I was meeting up with GemmaSistema for the day and I was the designated driver and Gemma was the navigator and co pilot.
After finishing a section of the rail trail, the marathon around the Eastern Cemetery and the Eastern Park and Botanical Gardens it was time to find a few more random caches.
We were heading back to where we had left Gemma’s car as it was getting late as I had to be back in Altona at work for Earth Hour which is tonight.
This was the last one for the day and after locating all that was required we then struggled to sign the log as it was saturated.
This was a great little park tucked away in the suburbs.
Thanks Gemma and to all of the cache owners for another great day out down in Geelong.
Thanks ozbob TFTC.

**Found whilst visiting family in Geelong**
After helping out my cousin with a few odd jobs I headed out to grab a couple of caches before heading for home.
Gathered the clues at WP1 and made my way to what looked like an appropriate GZ. Turns out I had the area to myself today.
Took me a few minutes and a few false starts. I rechecked my numbers and happy I was in the right place, I started looking again. Managed to locate with the aid of my phone camera. Retrieving the cache took awhile but got there in the end.
Log was stamped and replaced as found. The cache bag is wet and manky however the log was ok and there has been a fair bit of rain lately.
Thanks for the cache ozbob. Appreciate your efforts.

Took some thinking but after locating obvious spot it was there. Slightly damp, plastic zip lock holding log degrading . Fun morning stop
After contemplating life up a tree. I failed to locate cache. Will redo equations and see what I come up with
I had to head to Geelong today.
I also had to find an Unknown cache beginning with M for a GCA challenge.
So headed to WP1 to gather some clues.
Finding the 3 sets of numbers was a quick event.
Then I had to calculate a likely GZ.
Well not sure if that's right.
Looks like I'd be cooking a BBQ in someones backyard!!
So I looked over it again.
Seems I misread and added a few too many numbers.
That looks a little better.
So of to GZ I went.
A couple of people enjoying the sun today but not too many.
At GZ I had 2 options and analyzed both in great detail.
The pressure was on.
I just could not come up with a hide.
After about 20min I was about to give up.
Ok one more search.
Then the bingo moment.
Made my day to sign the log.
Fav from me for the easy but a little difficult hide.

It's starting to turn out that the theme of this weekend trip is "Lex and Rinn trying not to look way dodgy around trees and bushes...."
And here was no different, as we stood around casually chatting about not much waiting for passing muggles to pass....of course they didn't pass quick enough, probably wondering why two people are just standing around a random tree.....
Anyway, the cache was spotted, and dad became the TOTT and we signed our lives away, then I realised that I could reach up to replace it, much easier....

Finally got to turn this one into a smiley with a PAF. The problem was I had been looking about 15m in wrong direction *face palm*. Last time I was here I read a comic book on a nearby bench and enjoyed the sunshine. Today I had to hurry back to the car to get out of the rain! Thanks for the cache
Found by Mary and David at 1635. M's appointment had finished, so we both came here to find the cache. Very interesting to look at all the plaques. Lots of walkers, doggers and joggers enjoying the park, little ones at the playground, and bigger ones on the tennis courts. Completed our maths, grabbed a tool from the car, and walked over to GZ. Soon located the cache, but had guessed the wrong tool, so back to the car again for a more appropriate one. Success! Our thanks to ozbob.
When I got to the park and collected the necessary information to calculae the GZ. There was a girl with her dog right where I needed to be. I hung around for a bit waiting for her to depart, then she asked 'Are you a geocacher'. She was a like minded person, and guided me to the hide, which is a tricky one. Then she suggested another couple of clever caches around Geelong to test me. This is a very clever hide. I would have taken much longer if it was not for my new friend and her dog.
Solved the clues but couldn’t find the cache today as I ran out of time to keep searching. Will try again another day
I decided at very short notice that I would have an overnight caching trip to Geelong. Having never cached here previously it was certainly an appealing prospect. I headed off early with the bike on board and got here sooner that I thought I would.
I spent the morning caching by bike and the afternoon driving around sampling the suburbs.
Having parked the bike up I was now driving around grabbing caches at random.
The information was quickly gathered and it was a quick find though I did have to get a TOTT to make the retrieve. TFTC.

I had solved this puzzle long ago and for some reason had not yet found the cache. It was eventually third visit lucky this afternoon as muggles were a problem. Once I had the area to myself I was able to locate the cache and with a bit of coaxing I had it in my hand. Thanks ozbob, pretty spot.
Our first Geocache for the day, and what a delightful little park it was to walk around in.
The information was easy to find, but the cache proved to be a bit trickier.
Your coordinates were very accurate.
I am so glad that Muggle Hubby was with me to acquire this one for me.
Thanks for the cache and the exercise required to obtain it.
Now to continue our exploration of your lovely city before attending a well anticipated 80th birthday party event this evening.

I stopped by at this cute little park and I appear to be having good luck today - you see it seems to rain when I'm driving and then when I arrive, it stops!
I quickly had the information I was looking for, then made some calculations and strolled over to GZ. Hmm, nothing here. I got up a little closer and checked all the little nooks and crannies, but no cache. Went further afield but nothing there either, and a previous finder said the coords were spot on. I then spotted something from a different angle that I wasn't able to access previously, and the cache was there! Signed the log and replaced, and no spiders!
Thanks ozbob

Our way out of Geelong, we stopped at this little quaint park, found what we needed to find and worked out the coords. At the GZ it took a bit before we found it. Signed and returned. Thanks Ozbob for the cache.

After sitting around half the night solving puzzles, today Papillon4506, Geoturtle37, Pinkpiggy7 and I set about picking up the finals.
What a lovely park. Thanks for bringing us here today.

This took longer than it should as the co-ords proved to be spot on. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
We found it while out doing a puzzle hunt. We had the coordinate and still scratching our head. But it's signed. Tftc
Day out with sassieold55 and time for some caching, we gathered the info needed and arrived at GZ, we had to improvise here to retrieve the cache, we dislodged the spider and left it at the base of the tree, hopefully it finds its way back.TFTC and a fav point.
Found this tricksy little cache with annabella02. A lovely setting and the cache required some extracting , the spider still being in residence ! Tftc
Doctor Owl and sushilord are off on a long weekend trip to find some quality caches in Mexico. We suffered the laughs, joys and frustrations normally experienced on a caching trip and bonded as geobrother and geosister.
As I've mentioned in another log there's usually more than one way to do something, as long as the solution is the same go with the easiest method. In this case Dr Owl's early caching method got us to GZ and I eventually found the cache.
Thanks for the cache ozbob.

Sushilord and Owl were heading home after their excellent Mexican adventure, but there was time for a few caches on the way home, especially puzzles. The information was collected, though one of the plaques was hard to spot. Then Sushilord's GPS decided to play up. Fortunately Owl had learnt to geocache using nothing but latitude and longitude, so GZ was soon divined. The cache was not. Owl was headed to the car for a stepladder, but the ever-resourceful Sushilord shimmied up and found the cache. The things they do for a smilie!
We are travelling home from Wye River and decided to go into Geelong to check something in Newtown. This cache was nearby and the information was pretty easy to find from the plaques in the Park. The cache however took some time to locate. Finally located after approaching from a different angle. Looks like we are first to sign the log in 2017. #4366 Thanks for replacing the container Tassie Trekkers and TFTC ozbob
Staying on after the Surf Coast Event we concentrated on completing some puzzle caches and this was one of them. An easy find after an enjoyable walk around the park collecting the required information. With permission from CO we replaced cache with a film canister.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Solved the puzzle and gave GZ a good search, even returned to the car for tool gif extra height. Found a likely spot but no cache in sight.
Caching in and around Geelong on the way to the Anglesea Mega event. Great fun with a range of types and even jagged some difficult and high terrain caches.
Although we were in front of a plaque unveiled for remberance day at the 11th minute of the 11th hour. The omen equate to a find. Damn.

Already had the numbers after my recent DNF came here today and found the cache in the obvious spot, as I retrieved the cache a large spider came out with it so after throwing the cache to the ground, the log was signed and replaced where it came from, thanks to OzBob for putting in a replacement in such quick time, now to sort out the old flour mill run off!!!

Checked this out after recent DNF's. Cache was missing and now replaced. I don't think the home owner likes the intrusion.
Getting the coords was easy enough but at GZ there have been major cutting at GZ so could the CO please check on this guy?
Unfortunately we came here at night but finding the required data wasn't a problem. Once Arkbell80 and I got to GZ, we searched high and low but couldn't find the cache. There has been some recent maintenance work done to the garden and trees. Could CO please have a look to confirm that the cache is still intact as it looks like it may have been muggled.
Found with Bazinga01 on a cache run to complete our Monthly Mystery Cache Challenge. Unfortunately we did not find this cache, I'm sure we had the right cords but the gardener has been cutting limbs off trees and my have found/taken the cache. This may want to be checked.

This would have been a lovely stroll in the garden if it hadn't been such a hot 30 deg day. The log is full, but I squeezed my name in. Clever hide. Tftc.
We were picking up one of the girls from work nearby, and thought we had just enough time for this one. We soon had the numbers sorted and found a very likely spot with lots of hidey holes that could have been the cache. Dad gave one of the girls a shoulder ride so she could get a peek into some of them, while mum poked around in some other spots. While mum did nothing but disturb big hairy spiders, miss 9 quickly found the cache. We were even done with enough time for the little ones to enjoy the playground and dad headed off to the nearby market. Thanks ozbob for the fun!
We worked out the puzzle, but did not find the actual cache. A great concept thought!
Out and about in Geelong today. I've had a great week staying with my Dad in Leopold and today I thought I'd go around town ticking a few puzzles off the list.
Thanks to all the COs for their efforts!
I arrived at GZ and wondered what tool I needed. I searched and searched but nothing jumped out. I sat and pondered for a moment before starting my search again.
Luckily, today I was able to extract the cache without any tool, I guess some people just don't need it.

What a scenic area of Geelong this is. Even though it was dark I still enjoyed gathering all of the info. Thankfully everything worked out and I soon had the well hidden cache in hand. TFTC ozbob.
Found on another caching adventure with Trailrunning, The long weekend meant more time for caching so we headed to Geelong for most of the finds,. Thanks ozbob for the cache.
Another public holiday on a Monday can only mean one thing, a day of caching with Rebel Acts. We have so many puzzles solved for the Geelong area that we thought a trip that way would be in order. The overcast day meant that the GPS's were playing up a little, pointing us here then there. Very difficult when we were searching for so many micro caches shoved in bushes. A few outstanding caches were found. Thanks for the fun.
Spiffy- and I were looking for puzzle caches and arrived at WP1. Plaques found quickly then off to GZ. A 10.mim search and nothing. Lots of notches and holes to check. So back to recheck the clues. While we did that a muggle came and sat on the bench so we had to abort. Got in the car to drive off and 500m down the road we saw her drive off. A quick U Turn and back to the park and GZ. Spiffy- went a bit higher then spotted it... laying on the ground. I picked it up and signed it and placed it back in the spot we expected it should be. Thanks ozbob for the cache.
We went out for a trip today to help Fleabag- collect some more mystery caches for the mystery month challenge today. Extremely windy, patches of hail even, but there were plenty of sunny breaks.
We gathered the clues reasonably easily and headed of to GZ. Looked around for probably 5 minutes or so and couldn't find it.
Went back and redid all the clues since a muggle sat right next to GZ anyway. We temporarily tried a different vague GZ with no luck. Muggle still there so we left, as we left they left so we came back and I eventually spotted it lying on the ground in the open. Have put it back in the most obvious spot for it.
Thanks ozbob for the cache, the challenge, the hunt and the fun.

Today TheRustyDuck and I set off on an epic journey to collect mystery caches. We are attempting the Mystery Month Challenge and travelled from Lara right around to Ocean Grove. We had spent all week solving puzzles and writing a itinerary. After the long week we set off early, for a car full of stuff and a packed lunch. We had a great day visiting all the places we did today.
This one was at the end of a long day and had us going for a while, but we got there in the end. Once we sorted out our maths issues, we had the cache quickly in hand. TFTC

Today was Mission: Mystery Cache. yellowdaisy135 and I collected mystery caches from Lara, through Geelong, all the way down to Ocean Grove. This was the 19th of 21 mystery caches, in what turned out to be quite a long day. We spent most of the week leading up to today solving as many puzzles as we could. Some were solved almost immediately either by myself or by yellowdaisy, while others required significant time and effort. In the end, time got the better of us, and we had to forgo searching for a few. We had a few hiccups along the way, but all in all it was a very successful day.
Thanks to all the cache owners for putting in the effort to make great puzzles. TFTC.
It was getting a bit late in the day, and I guess we were tired, because this one took us a lot longer than it probably should have. Still, in the end we signed the log and got the smiley.

With a bit of time before the race, I mosied on up here for a look. I collected the clues quite quickly and headed to GZ where I needed to be at my most dexterous to extract the cache at 11:00.

After a tree climb in another part of Geelong, it was time to finish with another few in this area. What a lovely little park this one was. I don't think I had even driven past this one. I'm sure plenty enjoy this spot on a regular occasion. The details were obtained without to much drama and I was off to find the final after a short time. I noticed a nice little hiding spot for this one, made sure there were no eight legged muggles waiting for me then stamped and returned this one as found.

Realised this evening I was at 6 cache types for the day with a letterbox and many mystery types nearby. Came out again this evening to grab both types and complete a great day of caching. A nice easy puzzle cache made for a good final find just before midnight. The house nearby was having a rager of a party, but I was far enough away not to attract attention, not that anyone would have noticed likely.
Spent the day exploring the Bellarine Peninsula and after the event in Queenscliff and the webcam cache there, and some others all over the place I ended up finding 8 different cache types! A new record only a few days after I set the bar at 6 in Melbourne. This trip is proving great for my geocaching stats! The caches were all very high quality and I have to say this is a pretty good area for geocaching.

I had headed over to Geelong this afternoon after work to catch up with Yoshi Warriors for a day of caching tomorrow and of course we set about grabbing a few caches in town this evening to wet the appetite. We swung past here in our travels and after wandering around this lovely little park we had the co-ord's in hand and not long after also the well hidden cache, thanks again ozbob for the cache and for showing us this great little area.
In Geelong for some caching with Happy Pants. We were out to claim a few caches this evening. This cache was our next stop. We wandered around the park and gathered the info needed and a set of cords was soon in the GPS. We set off for GZ and fortunately I tried a spot and there was the well hidden cache. Had been here a while ago to collect the info needed and worked it out on the spot, but didn't get much of a chance to look around at GZ as I was called away for other things. Finally had a chance late this evening to swing by and have a thorough search. After finally reaching up into a likely spot I soon had this one signed!

Thanks Ozbob!
Our first night cache- solved the puzzle on sunny Saturday, but no luck on a first quick look- second time lucky tonight, with some kind advice from Ozbob- we need a new GPS!- iPhone had us looking in far too many places- couldn't even get down to 1 or 2 metres. Ozbob saved the day! Great puzzle and perfect hide- although not one for Hobbits. TFTC- signed with initial 'B'.

A walk in the park so to speak. A few muggles to complicate things, after all what is a grown and supposedly mature man doing there?
After talking to recent finders.. I have replaced the cache in the spot we believe to be correct!!!
Thanks one and all!

Found today at 1038.
Nice easy find as the cache was on the ground.
We put it in a suitable location but Bushfire may drop past and check.

We did enjoy doing this multi cache thanks to our maths being ok this am! Found GZ alright but took a short while to find this cache due to having to have patience due to muggles about now and again and also it was somewhere we did not expect to find it! It was some metres from GZ and out in the open on the ground. We signed the log and replaced it where we thought it may have been but will email CO and inform him of where we have placed it in case he wants to place it elsewhere.
The Moorak Park was good to visit and it certainly is well used by muggles - great playground area too!

Found this one tonight. I needed this one to finish the NZ challenge that I had been working on. I started this one and found 2/3 plaques easily and got the information. The third plaque eluded me and I searched the whole area (apart from where the actual plaque was!) and sat down to sort out the issue. I then looked again and voila there was the third plaque. I was tired and so worked out the wrong numbers a bit (maybe in a back yard but close enough to still be in the park but incorrect). Sat down and reworked the numbers (I am not sure how I ended up with the easterly number that I was searching with but it didn't relate to anything) - I corrected the numbers and started searching in a new location. I was unsuccessful and then found a bird which I wondered if it was the cache - but it was alive and so I left it in peace and continued searching. Eventually the tricky cache was found and the log signed.
Thanks for the cache and for introducing me to an amazing park ozbob.

After getting to the published coordinates, it didn't take very long to collect the required information and calculate the location of GZ. As we headed off, a "Wee Jock" (a Westie similar to the faithful companion of Hamish Macbeth) came over to see what we were doing and brought his owner. After a short conversaton, "Wee Jock" wanted to continue his walk, as we did our search. Accurate coordinates led us to a quick find although an extraction tool was needed to retrieve the cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the puzzle and cache ozbob.
Oz bobs hides usually take me weeks to work out however looking at this one had me confident I could do it in half hour. Grabbed all numbers needed at sat on the bench in this beautiful day for some calculations. Gz led me to a likely location-got this one by feel no tool required. Thanks oz bob!
Very quiet and peaceful here today. A deceptive little spot that is bigger in reality than it looks from the road including a nice little playground hidden from view which the geokids made use of while the grownups retrieved the cache after they helped gather the info needed for the calculations.
Thanks ozbob

Find No 693 and Day 20 of finds in a row. Scooted past last night and picked up the required information, so that I could have a nice easy find on my way to work. There was a couple of muggle builders near by but I don't think that they had really woken up yet and they did not notice my unusual escapades. Happily signed the log and returned the cache to its home and it was off to work. TFTC
Another cache today that I had DNF's with friends a while back as it was missing. No problems today and a quick find, thanks ozbob.
We gathered the requried information and headed off for a quick find.
Thanks ozbob for the hide,

We had decided to attend the Geelong Smorgasbord Events so we decided to come down on Friday to try and pick up as many caches as possible, as Mr Crackers was working this weekend The Coffee’s kindly offered Mrs Crackers a seat in their geomobile.
After a dnf here a couple of months and finding that it had indeed been muggled we were keen to come back and grab this one. We did have to wait for a few muggles to leave the area before we could begin our search and after a little while Mr coffee had the cache in hand and our names have been added to the log.
Thanks again ozbob for the cache.

This was a surprising little park that was tucked away out of sight. I had no idea it existed. My son lived close by for a few years a while back. He is now in Adelaide.
Found GZ and then the search began. Had to go back for a bushfire tool once I spotted the hide.

A nice, short walk in the park after a long week at work and prior to a warming meal in a nearby tavern. The task and hide were straight-forward - just what we had hoped on this miserable, drizzly evening.

An interesting place, I also wonder about the commemorative drinking fountain there as well. Anyhow, to the cache. I worked through the maths relatively easily and then the fun began. I developed an idea what GZ would be, then it was isolating it. The comment about Bushfires bag of tools is accurate, but only if the cache is not reversed! A little unaccustomed effort and it was in hand. TNLN,SL TFTC!
It is a charming little park. This was a nice cache with instructions that worked out very well. With our calculated co-ordinates we headed off to GZ and soon located this nicely constructed little container. We signed the log we popped it back in its hiding spot. Thanks for the cache.
Looking for a local cache to pick up on the way home to fill the August calendar, I chose this one.
I don't normally select mysteries, but this looked achievable.
More of a multi really.
Anyway , the coords were calculated quickly enough, and as it indicated that they were still in the park, I felt confident with the search.
I did a lap and then searched the seat.
Then I checked the terrain and went back to my original search and the cache was found.
I like the container. Simple and waterproof.
Scratched my name and re-hid.
Nice work Bob.
Thanks FTc

Found 1400hrs with Team Packetstorm as company, thanks ozbob for showing us this little park in suburbia.TFTC
Found this afternoon in the company of TheGeoGeriatrics, I have driven past this park many times but this was the first time we stopped and had a look.
Cache only took a few moments to locate, but it was a fun afternoon.

A mercifully quick find today given the temperature and the impending downpour! Buckleysbabe and the boys turned out to have a crack at this one on 10th July, did the calculations, searched high and low with GPS hopping from one spot to another without success - including it turns out, the correct place! However, assuming a lack of geocaching skill we departed only to return today to make the find within seconds with geo-hubby certain he thoroughly checked the right spot last time. Arrived home to log the find only to discover that the cache had in fact been muggled and wasn't replaced until the 12th!
The moral of the story? Perhaps Buckleysbabe shouldn't be quite so paranoid about ozbob caches ...or perhaps judgement should be reserved for the moment...surely Barrabool CC, High?End, Old Flour Mill Run Off and Waurn Ponds Dve can't all have been muggled too???
