Another not found. We're pretty sure this is gone - we even had the help of the friendly neighbour, who knew where "the little bottle" was supposed to be. She derives much amusement from geocachers, and knows the website. I reckon she'll take it up, one day, when she has time.
It was not there, and not higher up either.

After quite a search we cracked the hint for this one but it didn't help at all.
When we were going to mark a DNF we found it on the ground and put it back where we think it was meant to be.
Co-ords seemed a bit out for us but the hint helps.

Find #1244. Found @ 10:50 with the family.

Our last day interstate, and I figured I'd take the opportunity to grab 3 finds in 3 states/territories. This was the first find to tick off NSW.

When we parked nearby, there was another car in front of us. I exited the vehicle and realised that it was occupied. The kids wanted to play in the playground anyway, so we went there for a while.

I checked back a few minutes later to find the coast clear, so wandered back towards the car to make the easy find. Interesting camouflage, which kind of made it stand out in the selected hide location.

Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

Day 295; cache 295. This one was just laying on the ground when we found it, pure luck then anything else. Signed log and returned it home,TFTC!

2013: 295 Days In A Row - The GPS had us 8 metres away from anywhere. So we went between the two obvious objects looking. No luck at either of them. After multiple times back and forth we spread our search out. Read a few logs, and tried again. After lifting Fraggles for a closer examination I stepped on something, and remembering previous logs looked down. Turns out the cache was about 1 metre from its home, and hiding in the grass. Replaced again, but maybe the cache needs a little more strength to hang in there... TFTC and a very frustrating search...

Hmm ok we'll claim the find but only by sheer chance. A friendly neighbour came out to let us know we were boiling hot but we searched high and could not locate. Then as Skylight9 came down from her boost she almost stood on the cache!! Lucky fund. Placed it back where we thought it should be. TFTC

Found this on the ground in the grass. Returned it to where it belongs.

Lucky to find this one, it had come loose from its hiding place and was in the wet grass. Now it's back where it should be. TFTC.

My 629th find for The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition 2013. With just over a week of the competition remaining, I had some leave owing and decided to take it for a geo-adventure in the Australian Capital Territory and Canberra. What a way to celebrate Canberra's centenary, as well as the Federal election!

On day four of my trip, and after completing a number of caches in the CBD earlier in the day, goughy2012 and I continued our hunt into the afternoon and late evening. Once at GZ, it was a quick find and we soon had the CIH and signed the log. TFTC qbncachers.

Found this one quite some time ago, however never logged it. The kids wanted to find one on the way home from ALDI yesterday afternoon, however having done most around town, we decided to do this one.

Today I decided to have another go at cleaning up Queanbeyan after having had to stop due to rain last time I was over here. This was first and the second time I have been to this small park. Very interesting. Thanks.

I think I've been here before but anyway this was quickly spotted retrieved, logged and replaced.

Some muggles but cache was found without much trouble.

Found on a morning drive in Queanbeyan to get to cache no. 1999. Only a short drive from the nearby park to this one. Looked a little lonely today. The cache was found straight away, however the retrieval was difficult. I probably woke up the entire neighbourhood trying to get it. Anyway, the log was signed and replace without as much noise, however the dog over the other side of the street started growling when I got back to the car, luckily it didn't attack me. Love these camo container you are creating, very simple but fantastic in the wild. TFTC qbncachers!

6550 + 822 = 7372. Found during a lunchtime run with Sol de Lune.

Ninth and Last find during a quick dash around Qbn for a number of caches - all by qbncachers as it turns out ! A quick find for the second cache we've done in this park - now back to work !

Another strange shaped park.......and our second visit to it since starting caching. The other cache is obviously long gone.

Didn't have a long way to go to grab this one, so thanks for the quick find.

We decided to have a break from the office at lunchtime today and head out and collect our daily smiley. This one wasn't too far from work, arrived at GZ, quick search and then headed for a bite to eat before returning to work. Such a glorious day! TFTC

Wonderful little cache, Phone compass was sending me in all different directions for awhile Great camo! Geo-hubby thought it was a wasps nest haha!

Found by zargfinders during our caching weekend. Not sure about the clue as the cache was on ground level.

We all soon rushed to the GZ of this cache. I did not look at the clue, while the others did. They were looking in spots according to the clue, but I wasn't. Then I found the cache in the opposite spot as the clue! I found out what the hint was afterwards. We replaced the cache in a spot appropriate to the hint, and thought the camo was a little random for the hiding place. TFTC

this is a great park for the geokiddies that not many people even locals know about.
I wonder how many parks in QBN are hiding gems like this.

A nice quick find at 1820 on the way home after work. I realised today that my free ride on Project 366 was over with a gap in the calendar needing a find - luckily caches have been proliferating near home recently, which will make things much easier. A slight detour from my usual route and the niece familiar-looking cache was in hand - would be a little more conspicuous if there was light at GZ! Thanks for the cache qbncachers.
