Today I was invited along to cache with the logan gang of roddyc, hatzofff, imbunda and ring in, echocage1. The plan today was to drive out west ways and clean up a couple of caches for maintenance and collect a few caches as well. This cosmic challenge has gotten people out about and all for a couple of souveniers. It was a fun day and although I already had half the caches on the list today, I still had an enjoyable time and got in a few laughs. A good company group to cache with.We headed along a trail of caches and into the hills and some awesome views. There were a few along this trail and the Pharaoh's were watching out for us.The logs were signed and the caches were replaced as found, thanks for the caches in this area.
Today was a trip up in the Lockyer Valley with RoddyC, Hatzofff, chamad and Echocage1 to gain a few Smilies and also earn some points for Cosmic Quest.Soon had the cache, log signed before replacing as found. It sure was a beautiful day . TFTC
With hatzofff, imbunda, echocage1 and chamad for a pleasant Sunday caching around the Lockyer Valley. The red rocks!Log signed and cache replaced as found at 2:08 PM on August 4, 2024. TFTC, Tonned.

Took a drive along the scenic East Egypt Road to find a cache or two. Quick find as the cache was lying out in the open. Have re-hidden as per the clue.On a mission to Plug the Gaps in my 366 calendar and finding this cache has plugged a necessary gap that needed filling. Maintenance required: Cache container has a split down the side that will need attention for hide longevityTFTC. TNLN. SL. TBs Prado Owl ; The Great Leap Forward Geocoin ; Bee Croc ; Rawhide ; RobS72 2000 Finds GC ; Forest Hill Ear Tag ; Iceland Geocoin ; and Kiwi Bird visited.Find # 2166.
I found this cache a few weeks back. Great open views. Picked up a trackable which I since relocated. TFTC
Found today whilst my daughter is doing rehearsals in Gatton, nice country drive taking in the views, all good with this cache. Tftc
Decided a trip to Egypt was in order today, as we were staying close by (Elphinstone) Downloaded 11 caches as I knew we would probably be out of range for most of the day. What a abeautiful drive through the hills, but I would not like to have been Gorman and his band of intrepid travellers....Easy find, and left Hidden Creatures TB to enjoy the nature reserve for a while Thanks Tonned
Easy find. This trail of caches makes you wonder who came up here one day with 7 or so boxes and try to entertain people.
Tftc!

Post hike caching, avoiding the heat by doing some carcaching.
Find number 29009 for me.
Thank you Tonned for hiding this geocache.

With Karicka. The first one of the series we've found. Thanks for the fun Tonned
Found easily thanks to the hint. Beautiful drive up there. I've been looking at this trail for a while now and have always thought the elevation was a lot lower than what it is. Cache in excellent condition. Going back there one day to go for a drive down the other road there.

Light trekking to get to this one, nice and easy. Anndddd now that’s the trek done
Spoilt for choice of hiding places here, luckily the coordinates were spot on or Muggle Hubby may not have located it so easily.
After we’d found the last one in the trail we came to another gated road so had to return back the way we’d travelled, but that was certainly no problem. We just saw all that magnificent scenery from a different aspect.
Thanks so much for this beaut series, it was the highlight of our day.

There were some really good looking hiding spots around here, but the co-ords took us to the correct one straight away [^]
Thanks Tonned

After a rainy day yesterday it was time to get out and find a few caches. After the GPS settled down, quick found stamped log and replaced. Thanks to Tonned
TFTC,
We have had a couple off rain days and it was great to get out. We decided to go for a drive and take in the valley views.
Each stop is providing great views.

This one has clearly been replaced recently... thanks HippyDonna... a quick park’n’grab and this is where I got phone reception back and was able to catch up on my logging... tftc...

Replaced cache and log as the old cache lid was cracked hence it being full of water/mouldy.
Now has a new log and is in a clear plastic jar with brown screw on lid. All good to go

We pulled up and spotted the hide described, so our names were in the cache in no time. Off to the last cache in the trail we go! Tftc Tonned
Be careful, so many cobbles pegs (prickles) in the grass, kids socks and pants got covered.
**# 25642** Found on our 2019 winter escape trip to Qld with Mrs Roosta.
A perfect Spring day for another drive around the countryside while at Toowoomba.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good safe hides.
Log sheet is very wet. I replaced the plastic bag but it will need a maintenance visit.
Thanks for the cache Tonned,

Oh Egypt this is where we must part, it’s been a curious and beautiful trek, but now I must conquer the mountain Tftc
Out and about on an afternoon geocaching mission discovering more of the toowoomba area as I have only just moved here, my amazing Geo-Wife KaleidoscopeCass is a local so knows these areas well.. geocaching certainly is a good way to explore!
Loving the drive today. Unfortunately this cache was very wet, but we added a waterproof log. We're doing the caches backwards to their numbers, so this cache was our first glimpse of the stunning views. TFTC
Log was still wet but we managed to sign it. Had to brush off a couple of muggles but it wasn't too hard. TFTC
Thanks for the cache! Log is wet and will likely need replacing at some point, tried to dry it out the best i could
Beautiful views! Cashe is water logged. Water in the log bag as well as previous peeps have not sealed it.
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Currently staying at Laidley today we decided to head out for a drive in the surrounding area. Got a little sidetracked and strayed further than we had loaded into the GPSr. Luckily we had GSAK with us and were able to grab coords for caches offline. Phew.
Cache had quite a bit of water in it, drained it and signed the log which was in a snaplock bag.

The roads are still good at this stage and the views around here are amazing. we took our time to enjoy them. Found this cache quickly . This is the 5th cache we found in this series and we loved it.
Quick find thanks to the hint. The contents are a bit damp but was able to sign log. TFTC
Out doing a little bit of MTB riding around the back blocks of Ma Ma Creek and collected these caches on the home run. There are some tough little climbs ( well big climbs) in this ride. Stopping for caches provide a few much-needed breaks
We parked the cars right beside Pharaoh's Trail 1 and looped southwards and then back of Little Egypt to return to the start.
I suspect I’m the first person to complete the series ( well what is left) by mountain bike. . 56 km round trip over 1000 m elevation gain

Out chasing smilies in the shadow of the Toowoomba Ranges.
Quick find.
The original log is wet & slimy.
The replacement log is damp, dried as best we could.
Cache needs some CO TLC.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

A quick find here.
Thanks for the cache.

Had a great time getting lost on the way here. Cache is very soggy and mouldy. Newest log is safe and dry in a small plastic bag.
On our way back from Stanthorpe and thought we would drive a road less travelled. Great scenery the entire drive from Clifton to Gatton.
Thought we would give this trail a go! What a climb and the change in scenery, vegetation and road conditions kept us interested the whole way.

Visiting the area with geo friends to grab a few caches, left my little car near the highway as I didn't think it would make the journey on the dirt road and hitched a ride with joojoo57. All finds were enjoyable with beautiful scenery in some places. Thanks Tonned for all the good hides and TFTC
Nice easy find on a gorgeous winters afternoon. 6th find on the Lockyer Run with the RichardsClan. TNLN. Signed log. TFTC.
Out for a day of caching with Gullivers Travels54 and we had many great finds and saw many great places. Thank you to all the CO's for the caches. Tftc
The grader has been through fixing the road up. Luckily this cache was not covered by gravel pushed up from the grader blades. Log book very damp as there must be some condensation inside the container. Container otherwise in good condition. TFTC
Quick find but is in desperate need of weather proof container and dry log book. TFTC Tonned
Nice, easy parking for this one. Cache container was full of water. I drained off what I could and signed a very wet log. Not sure how much longer this one is going to last . TFTC Tonned
Another nice easy find on the Egypt trail, sad to report that the logbook is saturated. Managed to get my KFAU Inital and date marked on the top page
Signed logbook 5:15 pm and replaced all as found.
