Accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks doscrapbooking for the cache.
Quick find for me today. Interesting history information on the welcome sign. TFTC.
I really like the caches that just hand around.Out for a day of caching around Roma just enough room for a mini lucky Chinese Feng Shui coin. TFTC
Found it on my way out of Roma heading North to warmer weather. Thanks for the cache.
*The generic bit for this trip*We are on our way north for warmer weather. From Victoria to Cooktown, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
Quick park n find. Short drive from Injune to Roma. So I decided to find some caches
Went and checked as I was driving past, it now has a new container and logbook.
I love squeezing every last second out of public holidays which usually combine with RDO's at work. So, with a 4 day long weekend in the offing , a few weeks ago I reviewed my adventure wish list and decided that a solo hike Carnarvon Gorge and specifically Battleship Spur would fit the bill.Viko Cz subsequently messaged me to say he was back in Australia for business for a few weeks and had some weekends free for a geocaching adventure, and was also keen to visit Carnarvon. Today, after a late-ish start (too late for the 4.30 am dawn service anyway), we set about cleaning up the balance of the local Roma caches, before grabbing some breakfast and heading north to Carnarvon. This was the last Roma cache, grabbed on the way north. A nice quick find. Lest we forget. Many thanks jpgordo#7,850
#5703 [08:25] long weekend ahead, lucky coincidence allowed me to join crookedpete to his carnarvon trip. day two - couple of caches found between roma and our main destination, including this one. thanks for that, it's always nice to stop, stretch legs and claim smiley
(# 10195) Passing here on my muggle friend's and my road trip, I just had to stop to add this geocache to my "Vlkommen till ..." bookmark list. (That's Swedish for "Welcome to ..."). TFTC!// e-scape
Travelling this great country of ours, collecting caches along the way. I'm stopping here for a few days, so out and about. Thanks for this cache.
We were here in 2018. As we were here doing a multi sum. We checked and re added our stamp to the later log. Great to see this cache still going as its out in the open..
The hint certainly helped find this this morning in the heat! The log paper needs replacing soon. We found some on ground! Able to roll them together and fit in container.
Hi to all Geocachers / owing to circumstances that I cannot I am asking if you find any of our caches needing paper change or container would please change this for me please . The j in the jpgordo has dementia and I am finding it hard to get around these places. My sincere thanks. Patricia

Nice hide. Took a little while.
Nice hide. Took a little while.
Heading out to check a campsite out, this just happened to be on the way. Nice quick find, thank you!
On the road home now and as it is just triple turmoil and myself driving back we really do not have a lot of caches to grab. From Charleville to Roma now I have no caches to grab which is awesome for now.
A search on the map and I found this one sitting there to be had. A drive up and an easy find, signed the log and replaced as found to continue on. Thanks for the cache and the hide.

Travelling from Vic for the past 3 weeks. Stopped in Roma for a couple of nights, an arvo free to pick up some GCs. TFTC
I’m off on my annual 6 week adventure and it is back to Outback Queensland to finish off what I started last time but got interrupted along the way.
It is nice and quiet on the roads this morning and I’m now in NSW and the weather can only get better to what Melbourne is at the moment.
It was time to leave Muckadilla and head to my next destination which is Injune.
Had to dry out and get rid of some of the mud after last nights heavy rain over night.
I left 2 very deep wheel ruts trying to get out.
Plenty of time on my hands as I only had a short drive so time for a tour a few caches.
So after a nice tour of Roma, finding a large Bottle Tree then picking up a few items that I needed it was time to head north which bought me past this one.
Plenty of room to pull over and get out and locate this one.
Thanks jpgordo TFTFC

It’s Mega time once again!! Woo hoo!! Love these epic road trips. After an amazing drive up Canberra - Narromine - Cunnamulla - Blackall - Winton - Charters Towers - Townsville. We had a blast at the main event. Now it is time for the trip home - with the plan being chances to explore Bowen, Rockhampton, Emerald, Roma, Lightning Ridge and Dubbo. Will see if the April rains and flooding detour us! Thanks to everyone in the region for the top quality caching. Appreciate your efforts.

A great place to stop on the way back into town. Not only did we read the front of the sign but we read the back and it is interesting to note how often Roma has flooded over the years. Having just been through the Brisbane floods in 2022, we understand the devastation that a flood can wreak upon local residence and lives.
Log signed after searching for a few minutes.
Thanks for another in Roma jpgordo

Quickly spotted at GZ. I wonder if it’s only geocachers who find the extra info on the back of the welcome sign.
