I think you might need to go and have a look because this cache hasn't been found for about a year and I have looked there 4 times and had no luck each time to I think you should go and see if it is still there!
**Didn't find it...**
Too good for me today...
Either my caching eyes weren't working or this one need checking...
Thanks anyway ELERT261419...

This evening after dinner, i had a caching itch i needed to scratch, so I headed out to find a few from this woody series.
I searched high and low for this one, and my spotter on the ground looked all over, but to no avail.
We hope to get back here soon for another go - it's unbelievable how often you find it straight away on the second go.

no joy for Dad and boy today. Tried both sides of the tree, wandered around and up and down various directions.
I'd blame the coming of spring and all the new growth for camouflaging the cache too well, but this is an evergreen tree and its foliage doesn't change a lot. We are obviously just a little blind at times.
Will be back sometime to try again.

Heading to Diamond Creek for the weekend so took a different way in to grab a few caches. Wasn't sure where to start climbing to look until it was spotted, so hubby made the climb to make the retrieval to sign log. He was please to get his feet back on the ground.
Thanks ELERT261419 for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

Another great tree but this one was a bit different with the branch almost to the ground. Up the tree we located the cache. Nice hide and great tree to pick.

Same tree.
Same satelites.
The bananas investigated this on the day of release and it was not till today that we decided to look outside the obvious range
And success this time.
These are obviously great climbing trees and with all the rope and equipment available along with the experience recently gained we were able to set up, find and pack up in less than an hour to achieve our goal.
It just goes to show what can be achieved with time.
So 23 months later, it is in the bag.

Holidays is a great time to plan a day out. I openly put out a day of geocaching and theTritonz and buzzsmc were only to happy to join in the fun of an adventure away from home. We decided to move from home early to beat the morning traffic of the unfortunate muggles that had to go to work for the day. We were gone for well over 14hrs for the day, tiring but fun. We picked up some great caches for the day, some difficult D/T's and had a great day out.
After finishing our target series for the day near Mt. Disappointment and a few further north, it was time to head back south and tackle a few in this area. We marked this one due to the D/T rating. We raced up the tree and the search was on. A little bit of a search from within the tree and some spotting from below and the cache was spotted. Stamped and returned as found.
### *Thanks for this trad cache, Elert 261419*. [^] Log and container in good condition.Took Nothing, Left Nothing ###

With no one around and spotting the hid for one of trees from the ground we braved the wind and made the climb which was a bit of fun. We completed the signing duties and then did the next one. TFTC.
A huge tree with some weird branch formations. My son was up before I'd even got to the tree and had located it within seconds. Signed and returned almost as quickly. A great spot too. TFTC.
Suscoe's 9th find of today as we explored this area of Melbourne.
We have not ventured this way before and so we enjoyed seeing the countryside and the amazing development that has taken place throughout the area.
We came prepared for these and so the right tool was used and the cache log was signed.
They are impressive indeed.

With the young geo kids keen for a tree climb we let the 8 year old try his luck with this one as he spotted the cache, no point in the older frailer parents falling and hurting themselves as the youngest ones will tend to bounce if they fall, or so I believe...Thanks again Elert261419 for the cache.
Requisite photo of small son up the tree sent to the relevant mother, who thankfully wasn't there or would've vetoed any attempt to retrieve. Thanks for the hide and another beautiful tree!
Took a while climbing up and down. Turned out i was climbing too high and once i checked the terrain level decided to search lower and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC.
We don't feel this cache needed maintenance. We can not help that there are ants on the tree. Cache has since been found and is still in place.
No#3 for the day.
Found ages ago, sorry for my delayed log.
Trying to catch up on all my finds.
Thanks for bringing me here.
Cheers and T.F.T.C!

Found the first one pretty quick thought I'd give this one a go at the same time. But didn't feel right with me torch shinnying around in the tree will attrmpt again
Had a bit of trouble finding this tree due to our own stupidity and assumptions of which tree it was. Went and got lunch and came back to the right tree. W all sat in the car and watched Mr J-O-A-T climb the tree. He climbed further than needed but all still fun
Trickier being black, lucky we didn't wait until it was too dark. Another good climb. Tftc
Hi there! Currently there is a bull ant infestation in the tree making it very difficult to climb.
After trying this last week and spotting the location , this was a surprisingly quick park and grab , thought I had to climb higher , always looks further in the ground , thanks for the cache and the climb
Found that black little thing along with some ants geo kid spotted and quickly signed the brand new log
Spotted the cache and was ready to climb until a group of teenage mutant muggles wandeed through, I will have to return .
Looking for a new clean logbook but found the bison tube with a full logbook. Geoson is loving the tree climbing today! Tftc
we were unable to locate this cache tonight during our maintenance check so we have replaced with a new one..Keep your eye out. you maybe able to sign twice!
I met up with Day1976 for an afternoon and evening of caching. We decided to start north east of the city and work our way west towards an event we were going to attend later that night at Point Cook. The weather had looked a bit ominous earlier on but held off for us and it was actually pretty mild all evening.
We actually did five 'Woody' caches this afternoon, all with varying degrees of trickiness. We surveyed the location but couldn't spot anything so I made my way up to see if I could spot anything when I heard Day say 'Got it'. He found it on the ground. With the log signed I placed back in the tree in a safe spot.
Thanks ELERT261419.

Took the afternoon off work to catch up with Quasar3671 for a bit fo a caching run through the northern suburbs. After an extensive search of the tree turned up nothing, I found this one lying on the ground at me feet. Signed the log and replaced it as high up the tree as we could climb.
It was another monthly caching run with Biggles Bear, this time closer to home in the suburbs of Melbourne. This was our second Woody cache in a row where we found the cache on the ground. Again, we hid it where we best thought it had come from.
Thanks again to ELERT261419 for the cache.

TNLN, thanks ELERT261419.
I really enjoyed this one! Was a nice climb and not too difficult either. Cache was nice and easy to spot. Looks like it was running low on paper though unless we are using the back of the log as well. Cheers ELERT, TFTC!
#5233 We had to head down to Melbourne to attend an appointment and decided to stretch it out to a 2 day trip.....we brought Coruze along for double the fun . We enjoy some challenges of this nature and after a bit of "positioning" found the cache in good condition. Being early on a Sunday morning we had GZ to ourselves. Our thanks to ELERT261419 for the fun and amusing cache name. Cheers [^]
With the weather being really hot on the VIC/NSW border we teamed yp with Skullracing to do a quick run to Melbourne to get a few caches that were a little different to the everyday tradiditionals.Crack a Woody sounded interesting so we were off to check it out. Lucky Skullracing loves these types of caches All went straight forward with no problems and it didn't take too long at all for the whole process. Thanks for the cache 'ELERT261419'
Very cheeky hiding place! We all had a go at this one! Thought it was one place and when it came to climbing higher dad found it in his hand!
Found with Trailrunning on another Monday caching adventure, Plenty of tree climping and water wading tonight. Thanks ELERT261419 for the cache.
This was one of these climbs that I was prepared to do today, partially because I could actually see where the cache was. I was also much more confident of the climb than of others.
TFTC HAD ME GOING FOR A WHILE.. THICK ABOUT US OLDER GUYS. IT BROUGHT ME BACK TO MY YOUNGER YEARS..THANKS

Found it with Sian.Elise on 3/7/13 @ 1240 I saw it from the ground as she climbed.
Found this afternoon once spotted from below, Ua made his accent to the cache. SL. Tftc.
Tftc! Found with malea263 after it had been raining. Went right up, found after a few minutes of looking. Getting the cache was, trying to sign it while in the tree was a different issue... Had to throw it down to Malea to sign, putting it back was even harder.... Enjoyed this cache so much. Fav for me!
After a caching day with Erin-rose this was our last for the day. It was getting dark. Had been raining and both of us fashioning the cold that is going around thought it would be safer to call it and end for the day. Erin-Rose climbed the tree and after not long had the cache in hand. With a slight breeze found it hard to write in the log so with some good team work I signed the logs and past it back up to Erin-Rose. Tftc elert261419 a fav for me! I enjoy the tree climbing caches!
All fixed. The tree had some pruning done. New cache up there, i have made it easier to get to but you still need to climb to find it. Please note YOU HAVE TO CLIMB THE PART OF THE TREE HANGING DOWN NOT THE MAIN PART.
I have the (almost empty) log page if you want it... either way, looks like this needs some attention
Didn't try to climb as I found the log on the ground... looks like CJ Curry had trouble getting the pen working
Did not attempt this one at 10:30 am. The close proximity of the houses, and the fear of heights had us moving on

This one was a doozy.
There are actually three ways to climb this monstrosity. Picked the impossible way first, then I looked at the hint and tried the second way. I realised that this was very much the wrong way after seeing no cache (and scaring my spotter companion half to death at how high up I was!) so I went down to take a breather. Tried the third way, and it was a case of third time lucky as I spotted a glint in the torchlight. The funnier looking branches supported my weight surprisingly well, and I nabbed the cache for an FTF (#4) at 8:30pm.
Cheers ELERT - keep making these tree caches, I love them!

The bananas come from trees and thought this would be a great opportunity to get back to our cousins birthplace (trees).
We climbed like monkeys and spent nearly an hour in this tree with no luck.
Three dimensional directions with two dimensional coords makes this one a real test.
Lots of access but it was very hard not to damage this lovely climbing tree.
Hope fear keeps most people away.
