###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO.
I am going to Disable it, and I'll check back in 4 weeks to see if either

- the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
- the CO has communicated when action will be taken

If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then regrettably the cache will be archived.

The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.

Thank you

Quite sure this cache is still there but as we are unable to check will have to archive it.

Ahhh. such a pleasant area to conduct a search. Certainly didn’t find a cache here, but people have left other “things” here.
It wasn’t quite wasted as I used the facility to wash my car down with the dust it attracted on its Goldfields Loop today.
Oh well, maybe it’s there, maybe it isn’t. For me it wasn’t and I gave it a red hot look.

Geokids tried to find this one, while we had a lovely coffee at Maysee's, but they came back empty handed.

Thanks for taking us here Lumpyjrb. Spent quite some time looking for this clever hide. Had a break and had a delicious black forest in the best coffee shop in town

Went back and searched some more, even muggle hubby was excited to find it. He thought he could see this D3 better than me.

Did some PAF but we have to move on. Didn't book the caravan spot in Darwin, they might be closed already if we look further.

Was here looking on 30 August 2018 11:06 am

Cache is ok just a tricky find.

17-Aug-18
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.

I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Cords kept taking me to the middle of the road. Kept looking in all the obvious places but no joy.

Found on a nice geocaching day together with LandLockedSailors (LLS)

Today was maintenance day - meaning maintenance of LLS caches. For that we had to go all the way from Darwin to Dorisvale. That is quite a distance for a Danish geocacher

We had a marvelous day, meeting nice people, maintaining caches and finding a few other caches in interesting places A long, but a great day for geocaching [^]

There is something about this area, because our GPS's were again way off. LLS told me that he had been here before with no luck. That just made me more determined to find the cache this time around Within a few minutes the caches was indeed found and logged - thanks to a great hint [^]

Thanks a lot for the cache

Still travelling NT after the Red Centre Experience but now moving towards Birdsville in QLD for the Big Red Bash.

Moving day today from Batchelor to Pine Creek. Quite interesting driving through bushfires alongside the highway either side of the road. We were unable to stop for a few caches that we wanted to.

Really enjoyed this cache. Found quickly after the dog from across the road gave us a lick and wink and pointed us in the right direction. Would have been easier if we knew the coords were nearly 8mtrs from where our GPSr sent us. Fave point added.

Alice trip 2017. Day 21. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I left Darwin and began the journey Home. Heading south finishing the day in Daly Waters. We managed a few caches we had skipped on the way north and a section of trigs. The highlight was two WW2 airfields.

Thanks.

Co-oordinates kept taking me to centre of road. widened search but did not find today.

29-Oct-16
Sadly a DNF for us. GPS was taking us to the centre of the road. A look at some obvious spots in a wide search area produced nothing.

Sneaky, sneaky!! We spent ages here looking for this cache. The rest of our party left and went to the park so the kids could have a play, but two sets of eyes persevered for a bit longer. Eagle eyes spotted something out of the ordinary and hey presto, there was that sneaky cache. It sure was a corker:-)
The physical log appears to have been wet at some point, so we had to very carefully peel the first little bit of paper which then unrolled well for us to record our name. Interesting to note that the last name on the log was the 17/08/15, so nearly a year since its been found. Thanks for a fun cache. Fav point added.

The car rental company lost the lock box keys so no cars could be released. Finally they came up with a car and so our journey begins. I spent an age on this cache, alas no joy.

23-Aug-15

17-Aug-15
Today we explored Pine Creek and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. An excellent hide took a bit of hunting down to find it, what a corker of a cache!!

It was lilousof who spotted the necessary part of this cache... and the rest was easy. She has a fantastic eye for spotting those hard to find caches... a good partner to have with you.

Lilousof and Redgremlin on a geocaching tour down-under... Or maybe it's a holiday... Stop three... Darwin... Mission - Kakadu, crocodiles, Litchfield and swimming in waterholes. Great place.

Thanks to all the cache hiders that made this trip memorable.

My first intuition was right! TFTC

This was another find in Northern Territory while crossing Northern Territory and Western Australia from Darwin to Perth on Gibb River Road through the Kimberlys. During this 8500km journey we've met many nice and friendly people [^], visited countless marvelous places, saw lots of interesting local wildlife (and plants), took some 2500 pictures home and logged some 300 Caches Cool.

Here we've had the right idea right at the begining, but required three checks until we finally found the little beast Big Grin. Cool hide [^].

Thanks for the cache, we've enjoyed it very much [^].

[Blue]# 9974 Found on the NT leg of our S.K.I.D.R.O. adventure.[/Blue]
Another drive day on the way south again, back to Katherine.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good quick finds.
A very good hide that I missed on 1st inspection as the coords were 10+m away.
Found on 2nd attempt after a much closer look and feel.
Thanks for the cache Lumpyjrb,

Haven't used our toilet yet but good to know it's here. The gpsr jumped around for us we we eventually found it. Great little hide tftc

17-May-14
It often pays to trust the GPSr, and it was only when we did this we found the cache. Spot on coordinates.
A clever hide that took us a while to find.

Finally found this one bobbing around in its hiding hole. Had to come back later as the Council workers were all standing around before work. Great hide, pity I did not need the facility.

15-Feb-14
Our first find for the day (although we should have found one of the other ones first so that this one would have been a No 2s [: D].
Mr TiedyeSmileys actually poked his fingers quickly into the cache hidey hole and then moved on. It was Mrs TiedyeSmileys who eventually found the cache. Our Coords were a bit closer to the dump though for this one although our GPS reading seemed to wander wildly all over the place.

Too hot, looking too suspicious to muggles. Have to post a DNF. Conld think of better places to put a cache.
