Whoops, a bit behind on logs here! A Fathers Day Trip up to Silvan Dam/Dandenongs was delayed as MMelb was busy until later than expected, so only time for a couple of caches before it got dark. This was the last for the day. We parked where there wasn't as big a bank to climb and made our way along to GZ and hunted around a bit before resorting to the hint as dusk was falling and JMelb made the find. Excellent hint! Last cache for the day TFTC Paul_the_Hippy - GJMMelb
A short visit to my old home town of Monbulk on a sunny winter Sunday afternoon. Found this very well hidden cache in a few minutes overlooking the tranquil Silvan Fam. Thanks
With a few things I needed to do this evening I didn't have a lot of time to go caching, however with the weather being so stunning today it seemed like a crime to not get out and find at least one cache.Well I have been keeping an eye out for D2.0/T2.0 caches, as I am working on trying to qualify for [Dromaniax's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=d0b21b2e-6d61-423e-839d-4cc4f7fe7ab1&wid=f64bc8da-f1c9-4c56-b78b-fc2b2ce2874e&ds=2) [Richie Benaud 2/2 D/T All-Rounder Challenge Cache (GC9QG0K)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9QG0K) and so when I spotted this one I decided to make it today's target. The drive out to GZ today was so lovely. I always love driving through the Dandenong Ranges. Once I arrived I was able to pull off the road right next to the entrance to the illegal fishing spot.*I hoped no one though I was trying to break in and fish today!*This one was a nice straight forward park and grab. A short quick walk and short quick search before the cache was in hand and the logbook signed.A big thanks goes to [Paul_the_Hippy](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=52358e2d-3e1b-424f-aa9c-6a98b70de0ac&wid=3fddc20a-8187-401d-926f-ab1731685828&ds=2) for the fun today. TFTC.The cache container was in decent shape, all of the contents were nice and dry and the logbook was clean with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
I really like this one definitely my favourite at the moment this is a very good thanks for the good cashe
Went out for a couple of hours with the wife and dogs and grabbed a few caches before the rain started.

Nice easy find, night time, there was a car driving around the dam with a search light on making a bee line for me but cache log signed & hidden so I wasn't hanging around to explain. Tftc
Went to Tesselaar, stopped by on the way home. Mini cacher had it before I could even think! T4TC
Fishing in the resivior sure looks temping. I bet there is some big fish in there
Found by Mary and David at at 15:10. On our way back from Manfred’s Birthday Lunch Event and some newly-released caches. A quick find. Our thanks to Paul_the_Hippy.
This was a nice quick find after admiring the nearby view.
Thanks Paul for the cache.
Thanks Paul for the cache.
Thanks for the Cache Paul the hippy, another of my obligatory caches on Friday on my way home from Work. My routes home are becoming more indirect every week, but it gives me a sense of achievement. Cache in good condition, regards from Victourer
This was a relatively quick find .. the cache was found Safe and sound in its hide .. thanks Paul_the_Hippy for placing the cache
Was absolutely FLOORED when I found this one, was BARKING up the wrong tree for a while, but eventually found it.
Had a run in with a security guard thinking I was up to no good. Turned out to be a cool guy
Out on my own today after a doing a walk with my bush walking club. My goal is to have a smiley throughout the wonderful Mt Dandenong area. Nice easy find here. Thanks Paul _the _Hippy for the cache its in good condition.
Had a job nearby, so stopped to grab this one with a Korean muggle colleague. He'd never heard of caching before, but was in a cyber security and puzzle club at uni. Hoping he'll be a good brains trust for future mystery cache solving.
He enjoyed helping find this nicely concealed trad today.
I replaced the damaged Ziploc bag. Log book was dry, all in good condition.
Coordinates spot on.

Easy find. My son was thrilled to have his first cache. But disappointed there was no cash .
Container in great condition, and is where it says it should be, easy straightforward find! Great view of Silvan dam and saw a wombat burrow too on the way!
Second time looking for this one.
First time, I turned into the road to discover a road crew setup at GZ. They all looked at me as I did a UTurn and headed back the way I came.
Today's visit was a lot easier, with no-one around. Parked and strolled to GZ and quickly found the geocache in good condition.
Thanks for the cache Paul the Hippy

This was a quick park and grab on my way over towards Nangana to pick up Geoson the Elder.
The decent-sized container was sitting where expected but unconcealed - all was fine and intact though - with what appeared to be natural camo sitting just beside it.
Signed the log, took nothing, added a piece of kid-swag (not a fish, sadly, a plastic duck figurine was closest thing I had... well at least they're semi-aquatic! ) and then concealed container with natural camo.
Thanks for the cache, Paul_the_Hippy.

No fish. No fishing! But a nice view of the water. And a late log. See this sitting in drafts. Quick stop enroute to mums for care duty.
Long weeks working from home, how wonderful it is to venture out with aim of turning all local caches into smiles. The geo husband added a magic trick for the next finder. Thanks for the outing and thanks for the story.
I would have worn fishin pants, instead I’m wearing jeans. origin is the blue denim fisherman’s pants from the seaside Italian riviera town Genoa - so in theory I am fishin for caches in green camo cache fishin jeans... TFTC
I arrived early to the nearby Buddhist centre and decided my spare time would be better spent caching than in deep meditation. What I thought would be a quick park and grab turned into trekking like a headless chook bare-footed through the woods (my espadrilles didn’t fancy a dip in the mud). Alas, I made it back to the centre on time and overall it was a productive day.
TFTC Paul_the_Hippy (and happy to say this is my first find of your hides - looking forward to more)

Out and about today collecting some caches around the Ranges. A nice quick find here, TFTC!
That list of *caches I drive past and **really** should stop at and find* has shrunk by one.
A small huntsman was guarding the cache. In the effort to shake her off I spilled the cache contents all over the place Hopefully I got all of those little bits of plastic back in.
Thanks Paul The Hippy for the cache.

Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch. After a visit with relatives in the area, we stopped to find this one on the way home. TFTC
After finishing a job in town I can grabbed a coffee and a few caches in the area so it was a quick grab and sign. Thanks for the cache.
Despite Melbourne's very wet weather forecast we headed out with Wetjala and Mrs Biggles for a day of caching. This was the second for the day and it was Mr Pooky who made the quick easy find. TFTC.
I've found a few caches that have been set up or else cared for by "Paul_the-Hippy" and whilst most have quite informative/educational descriptions, an occasional one *slips by the keeper* which has me wondering whether he has forgotten to take his medication or has imbibed one too many herbal concoctions! The description, or part thereof, *written from the perspective of a fish* no less, suggests to me that the latter applies in this instance!
To be fair, and perhaps honest, I must grudgingly admit that the cache was actually found by a couple of hobbits on day leave from the shire aged-care home who joined us for a day of caching and sight-seeing, namely Mr & Mrs Pooky!

Out and about the area today with our caching mates who made this find first.

I love the story. I'm just imagining the fish thinking to himself "wtf". Or better yet, the fish analysing the act of being kissed by a finless air creature. At GZ, we used the hint and cache was easiy found. TFTC Paul_the_Hippy.

Hi there Paul_the_Hippy. Today was a day off so to speak so we decided to go for a drive across to Bayswater and beyond from Crystal Brook for what was a very pleasant day exploring (something that SWMBO wanted to do) befoore the rain set in. This container and log are in good condition - SL. Thanks to Paul_the_Hippy for this cache - our find #6430.
Damn it’s windy! Nice little place to hide the geocache and with beautiful surroundings ️. TFTF
Started heading home after a weekend in the Dandenongs and this was the first stop for the day. Nice quick find
