Logs
I was up north this afternoon with work inspecting an upcoming drilling rig. Despite all the rain that we've had recently, the sky was blue and the sun was out, surprisingly enough. Consequently, it called for a few geocaches to find in the area, and I headed to find a few north. Despite clearing the area with gridge98 previously, it looks like a few more have been added, so it was time to clean. As it got dark and I was driving home, I called past a strategic cache at Mawsons Lake that I needed for my Jasmine grid for March 2006. A good find there, wrapping up a nice afternoon.
I knew I had my work up for me since there was a string of DNFs with some uncertain finds from late last year. So, I came past nevertheless and thought I would have another look anyway. I parked nearby on one of the side streets, and so it was then just a short walk to GZ. I had a really good look around GZ, and the typical place was void of any cache container. I then looked around the base and vicinity, and still nothing. Expanded my search around al the trees/branches thinking it may be something hanging, and even looked around the fence area. No joy. Sounds like this one is either missing, or removed from its usual location, and so maybe time for a CO visit. Thanks anyway travellinbees.

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Last day in the Barossa for this visit. Headed out to do some shopping and of course found a few caches along the way.

A short walk down the path from the main road and the cache was quickly located.

Find #6291
Found with geo_legs without too much trouble at all. Nice easy one on a leisurely walk TFTC
Great find. Well hidden. On our first nice day for a while, out on a bike ride
Out with Mrs Rat. This was a first find after a detour due to an accident. Owl forgot to log it. She obviously needs someone to watch her!
Interesting cache notes, we are very aware of Neighbour Watch but had not understood just how each area was created. SL TFTC
This cache has been AWOL for some time so I'm glad it is replaced. A quick lunchtime outing from work was made in the beautiful sunshine. Thanks for the fun.
Took my mum to show her the art of geocaching but got covered in ants that thought we were tasty so gave up trying...for now
Have been going to "do" the Elephant walk" for some time and decided today would be the day.
Found lots of "DNF caches", this being the 5th of 6.

Out for a quick walk with the dog and child no. 2 in the cold. 2nd find for today almost missed it. TFTC!
Pretty good one haha. The adjoining property owner came out too. I think he may join with the kids Thanks guys
Sneaky tricky hide and explained to the adjoining prperty owner what it was all about, showed her the cache where she was happy about it. She had been concerned about graffitti on the fence but was releived that cachers are not into that sort of mischeif. TFTC
Have set a goal to get 5000 caches found by the end of the tear. This walk adds to that with 834 to go. Was trying for ozmega but thats pushing it, but you never know.
Nice to change my previous DNF to a found - it seems this one has lasted a fair while (cross fingers).
This is one of my favourite quotes and is so true! Thanks for the hunt this afternoon travellinbees.

Wasn't sure what to look for, until I saw a good photo in the logs. Then it was easy.
Thanks for the cache, travellinbees.
