Looked all over for it, then when we found it, we felt so silly, great spot though!!
Yay finished the Elephant Walk today. Log is wet but still useable. The plastic bag was soaking wet so replaced it with the ony thing we had it the kit...plastic glove! Hopefully it does the job for awhile. tftc
Despite their proneness to invasion a beautiful pepper tree is a site to behold. There are plenty of lovely trees in this area - a trail I have never explored (up this end) and didn't realise how much of a nice walk this area was. Thanks for another EW cache - I look forward to doing some more soon. Oh, and I prefer salt too though it's not the best for you!
Out looking to walk some more elephants.
Easy find as was in plain sight so added some camo.
Thanks for the cache travellinbees

First day of spring so I was out caching, luckily in between showers. Been meaning
to walk like an elephant for a while now so it was a great chance to grab
a few more caches in this series. One step closer to completion.
This one was slightly too obvious so I added a touch of camo after
replacing the container. Number 6 for the afternoon and just that
little bit closer to the end TFTC

The log is soggy and I could not sign. Sorry, I did not bring a piece of paper with me. Beautiful tree.
Thanks travellinbees for the cache

tftc. log is still wet couldnt sign it. may have something to do with the hole in the bottom of the container
wooo second cache ever tftc couldn't sign log as its compromised need new cache perhaps good thing I dont mind creepie crawlies
Found easily, once some muggles left the area. Unfortunately the cache and its contents (especially the log, despite the plastic bag) are soaked. Managed to sign it without pulling it apart. TFTC
Well done! Found in a large group with a parrot. A great series and a superb trek for the Pem Kids. Tftc travellinbees!
A day out geocaching today with the Pem Kids, consisting of 2 groups of 5 geokids. My group was made up of AB2013, Lavalamp411, SlipperyEl and Jedihorses. We tackled all the EW series with 17 finds and 4 DNF’s. A nice walk was had by all and generally a great day of exercise and searching. We began by signing each log individually but ended up with simply “pem kids” to save time.
Thanks for all the searches.
Good one to finish on.

Thanks to cache karma of previous cachers, we were able to find and sign the replacement log and cache. A lovely tree. Flies were out in force today. Out with one of the Hoelscher Hunters and it her great spotting that scored us this cache.
Thanks for the hide and to those who carry extras in the geocaching kit. (A note to self... update my kit to include cache karma equipment)

Performed cache karma, with some running repairs and a temporary hide, should be good for a whiile, it's amazing what goodies can be found laying around some times.

Today Chrispy89 is heading home far away in the bush so before his big trip i decided to skip my much needed sleep in after a busy weekend and take him to get some caches through the area, weather was in our favour as rain was expected but it is nice and dry, some of the caches involved crossing creeks and with the creeks mostly dry it made our job a lot easier to get them, i managesd 18 caches in 3 hours so i was pleased with the day, the tribe of TBs in my possesion got to visit a few more caches so thier owners will be happy. Final find of the trail!! Maddie found this one, this walk up brought us to 10.63kms.. now to walk back lol. Needs new log, was last entry, bit soggy too. Tftc
An easy find at the current end of the series.
It is certainly a nice way to traverse the neighbourhood.

Thanks

Headed out today to do a cache for the 31 day challenge and thought (shit) I am only 6 away form 3000. So continued on to find 3 of the EW series today as all the other seem to be offline. We did a little pepper dance under the tree, which made me laugh as in summer I can imagine the ants and seeing other cachers doing the ant dance lol
Cheers and thanks for the cache

After a busy day at work, my planned geocaching adventure with TheShattells had to be postponed due to my forgetting a previous appointment
So instead of an adventure and numerous caches, I had to settle for one of my emergency caches on my way past.
Luckily a quick find although it wasn't quite where I had thought it might be
Still, it was quick enough for me to arrive at 7.01pm when I got to my 7pm appointment...then the person was running late anyway
Thanks for keeping my August streak going, travellinbees

Decided to grab this one on the way to visit family and get my 4th cache for August. TFTC
Amazingly, I was ignorant of the Pepper Tree until one day recently I was searching for a cache in North Adelaide and entered into the aroma filled area at the base of one. Spying the red berries, I assumed that it was the source of the common and garden variety pepper, but when I looked it up on the net, I found it was a similar but unrelated type of pepper corn. Once I had been educated on these trees, I was amazed to find how common they were, and can spot them easily. I was tempted to plant one in my garden, but when I saw just how big they can grow to, I found I wouldn't have had enough room. I always feel relaxed when I look at one - they're just nice trees.
Thanks for the cache, travellinbees.

Off to do an elephant walk today as I am trying (You can say that again I can hear the Bees yelling) to get close to 7000 for my trip to India.
Working our way down the line and even managed a refresment break along the way.
Took the Mystery girl and a phone with me this time and had a lot more success.
Mystery showed me how it was done coming up a winner.

Once again the thing I like about geocaching the amount of people to pass this cache daily and we know where it is
Lovely day for walk with the dog, Morb!d & Co snapped this one up, such a lovely area, hopefully more time will allow us to complete the elephant walk in time along with the series! TFTC!

Another cache I was able to drive the mower right up to! Did a quick circle of the tree, then I spotted its hidey hole! Caution for the next cachers tho as someone let their dog relieve itself right near GZ!

After a previous DNF .... decided today was the day to go back and have another attempt.
This time found it quite quickly ... don't know why I didn't find it last time.
Had the cache in hand, was signing the log when there was a guy walking towards me ...
What do I do? Pretend to tie my shoe lace? Lean against the tree and whistle casually? Make a dash for it? .... none of these seemed appropriate .... and they I heard those wonderful words - "Are you geocaching?" ..... AAAAAAHHHHH .... relief a fellow cacher .... someone who understood the wonderful ways of the call of the cache! It was nice ot meet Zoo Crazy! We chatted. He said he had tried this cache and hadn't found it .. I showed him where I found it ... handed it to him ... we did the necessary paperwork... and then decided that we were heading in the same direction for the next EW cache ... so off we go ... the call of the next cache becons!!!!
Seek3r-ed and found!
SL TN ... but as there wasn't much booty in the box, left some more for the geokids!

my first ever find! took a while, but I knew it was there somewhere, so I persevered!
Well we have geocached for a while now but this one wasn't there that we could see. We found a spot that it may have been in but wasn't there. Could this one be re checked buy owner as someone else said they had found it on same day but we could not find it!
Miss GG, Myself and Team IMP 666 Decided to get some sun this morning. We thought we would make a start on this trail..
We wondered around a bit looking for this one but read a couple of logs and got a hint where it was..
