I have been out here before. I looked high and low, mostly high while being low. I came away with nothing, clearly I was making it far harder than what it was.I revisited today and found it easily, by looking elsewhere. Why didn't I try that before. Thanks for the cache Tk2, cache dry and signable. put more rocks on top to keep it safe. Find #9948

Today headed out solo for a big day of caching around Port Wakefield and a bit of the peninsula for some fishing and then home via Balaklava.
Enjoyed the day out but was knackered when I got home. Some great hides and a lot of manky mint tins.
Got a bit sun burnt. Enjoyed a lovely packed lunch on the peninsula.
All up just over 50 caches found for the day as well as the lab caches In Port Wakefield.
Thanks to all the CO for the hides was a good start to the New Year.

Found on a trip from home in the Adelaide Hills to Wool Bay on Yorke Peninsula, via the scenic route through the Hills to Gawler, out to Mallala and taking the back-roads to Balaklava, up to Snowtown, across to Bute and Paskeville and down the peninsula through Maitland and Minlaton, finding 32 caches for the day and clearing up a good portion on the map. Thanks for the cache Tk2!

With a quick search & a lot of fly swatting the cache was soon in hand, the log was signed and dated then returned to its hiding place.

Found it TFTC. Not sure the hint is relevant lol. After working 4 harvest seasons at Bowmans thought we'd best do these ones
Mr Felix is working in Bowmans for a few days. After work he headed out to pick up a few caches along the drive back to Balaklava.

Up north with a Muggle mate today grabbing some Freight Train pics.
I just had to have my daily cache or 2 or 3 or 4.....hundred lol
A quick find was made at an old bridge with some height.
Higher budget = better and higher bridge ha ha.
[Took the tb "Quackers The Duck" so he can come to Tasmania with me in very early March, but before that he will visit other caches first when i'm out Caching before the trip [^]]
SL of the cache at 13:06, which I might add is in fine shape and has a dry log book , on Sat 9 Feb 2019.
(It seems like all the country folk up here are enjoying this cooler weather, a little burst of Autumn for sure today, showers and cool strong southerly winds [^])

Thanks for the cache and placement Wakefield Waters ___ Find Number #4766 at 11:56 Hours
Oh wow the old bridge is so much higher! We placed some extra pieces of stone under the spot where the cache is located as there seems to be a hole and we were scared the small container would slip through it.
Log stamped with "Fabulous Randoms".
A very average day weather wise, but a great day with our secret squirrel friend who jetted in....
The lovely Feathertop joined TheDame and I on a short run out North. Our focus was to collect the caches that we usually 'fly past' but say "we'll grab those next time" - well today was that day, and a handful of great caches were found.
Lots of laughter and fun was had.
Thanks so much for placing this cache Tk2! [^]

A fun girls day out with GoodLook and Feathertop exploring this wonderful state we live in.

I was over here for work yet again and as usual I jetted in on Sunday morning.
It was a really warm morning and a bit spotting with rain, not all that nice actually but I was in Goodlook and Thedame's company so I knew I would have a good time despite weather.
In all we visited around 25 caches around here, I had 17 new caches to my name at day's end including this one.
Had to do a little maintenance work here to save this 5 year old cache disappearing!
Signed at part of fabulous randoms
Cheers

Thank you. Lovely green crops all around on this windy day. Rain coming which will be very welcome for the farmers.
Out on a lovely winters day, with an Owl and a Starfish,
Travelling on the dirt roads north bound from Gawler.
A lot of laughs and caches found.
Mrs rat was on a quest to get to 6,000 finds.
A quick find by the merry trio. Tftc

Yet another puzzled puzzler's Tuesday caching expedition. Today's crew of brisal5, Mrs. SA Sewer Rats and Doctor Owl set sail north again to where we were caching DNF's recently. Whilst doing that two weeks ago we rectified three DNF'S but added another three to the list. Although we made a lot of finds I managed to add another four to my DNF list! No matter we had a lot of laughs and I added a few unloved caches to my list along the way. [:o)]
This took way too long to find. Eventually I put the GPS away and looked in the obvious places and found the cache.

Day 2 of our girl's adventure and Gral4 and I did a spin around town collecting caches before heading into the wild and retackling yesterdays DNF, some 4WD caches and exploring the backroads for some planetary pursuit caching.
Another interesting day, we encountered mangroves and slippery mud, saw kangaroos, a rabbit, a dead cat [)], a UFO lauchpad [?], an old homestead, a grandprix track, a few trains and big cactus plants amongst other things.
Gral4 did some great 4WDing which meant we could get to some places my Toyota Corolla can only dream about I dropped lots of TB's on the way but we also picked up another 4.
Weary and hungry we ended up at Cookies at Two Wells for dinner and enjoyed a very tasty sweet and sour chicken dish to complete the fun weekend.
Just visiting TB's this time and helping Gral4 find the cache.

Had a quick look but mostly at the old bridge as cache may be missing. Thanks anyway
Looked and looked but did not find. Nice surprise to see the river flowing though

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out! Adding our DNF to the list.
Thanks anyway to Tk2 for bringing us to this location.

Too good for us second DNF in a row. Attempted with stavros08 on a geo-trip to Balaklava to do a couple of Power Trails. Thanks anyway Tk2.
Spent a fair bit of time with Ferret52 looking for this one. Located a couple of pigeon eggs but no cache. The historic bridge is pretty dilapidated now, but we remember when these bridges were widespread around the SA country. Tftc
Found while on Yorke Peninsula with iluvtrekking. Fortunate to have amazingly clear, warm weather for duration of our stay which made for very pleasant caching. Today we headed to Clare picking up a few finds along the way. Spotted by geo-hubby. Thanks Tk2
Found with richlink as we slowly made our way north from Point Turton to Clare, picking up caches as we went. Thanks for your cache Tk2.
Day 3 of our journey already, today we are heading from Clare to the Yorke peninsula. Again lots of caches on the way and this was one of them. Thanks for putting them all out there cachers of South Australia!

Having missed this one a while back and the owner had performed maintenance it has been on our list to come back to for quite a while, today we set off with Mattycat to do a caching trip in the area and this was one of the first few for the day, now we can cross it off our list unlike a few of the BBB caches that are proving to be a challenge TFTC Tk2
Out for a prickly adventure with some friends to try and pick up some hard to find caches. As always had a great day travelling around with locus cache and Laighside Legends in Harry . Stopped to have a nice lunch along the way and got home after dark .
Much fun and laughs along the way and lots of fun hunting amongst the prickles [^].
This was one of the non-prickly caches found today .

Headed out on a BBB Tour to grab some of those pesky caches and grabbed a few extras as well. TFTC.
Took a little while but spotted it in the end.

Out with a great assortment of people today and none of us were pricks.....unlike many of the caches that we found
Laighside Legends, Ismartis, The Kelly Gang, Squash99, firesafe and Knightyme had an assortment of tools and they were all used to assist with the finds.
22 , 1 DNF and 1 event attended
Now that sure as anything wasn't there last time I was here.... or did I just not look there[?]
A quick find today on the approach to the bridge and I managed to have Ismartis telling me not to drive across it as she thought it might not hold Harry.... seems my turning around when I didn't go across it also made her squeal

Our 2ns day at the Balaclava Caravan Park. We headed over Port Wakefield & returned home by a Nova. This was a great tiki tour of the country side.
We tried for this one over a year ago, today we came up lucky.

With work bring us to Avon we set of after work to clear a couple of nemesis caches of our list, with Bowman stinks done and dusted it is time for this one, we arrive and with a hint from a previous finder we soon had cache in hand. TFTC
Paffed and found the cache where you said it would be. Something else lives in the hole. They eat birds.

With the number of unsuccessful searchers for this little gem its time for the CO to confirm, replace or (archive this location which would be a shame) that way we can turn a sad face into a happy visit on our next trip North
Thanks Tk2
Thanks Tk2
Having found a similar cache container at another site we had a good idea what to look for but like others no luck for us today
Muggle partner and I headed out for a day caching and it was his idea
Brodie came with us and by day's end, he was exhausted [|)]
We went as far north as Port Wakefield and then returned via dirt road after dirt road so that I could get some of those caches that no one else ever wants to stop for
By day's end, I had found 18 and had 2 DNFs
Our second DNF for the day
After about half an hour of searching by two people, admittedly without climbing down into the creek bed, we gave up.

Found as a part of TheKellyGang, writing this as a genaric log as I was a part of TheKellyGang and am now out on my own.

Found it. Rainy, cold and windy day today. That's why some locals call this place blowmans instead of Bowmans. TFTC.
Glorious weather made this caching excursion most pleasant. We found the cache down below in the creek bed and replaced it to where we thought it belonged. Nice one, enjoyed finding this cache. Thanks to Tk2.

Off we go for another fun filled day of caching! After a late start, Rapidlywild and I managed to power through two power trails plus a whole heap of random caches for a total of 90 finds!-not a bad day's effort I reckon!
This one had us going for a while, first we went through the barbed wire and under and searched one side then the other. Then we realised we didn't need to be down there as I could see it poking out of THERE! [^]. So we investigated further and...bingo! Found the sneaky bugger! Interesting old bridge. I spent some time studying the unusual birds nests under it whilst I was searching
Thanks for the hide, Tk2

It was time to get out and about to hit some more powertrails of SA. We had decided to make today's target the PSA series and see where we went from there. Well we ended up doing the PSA and the APM series as well as a heap of random caches along the way.
specimenX was in fine form today, juiced up on her coffee and brekkie, off we went. We had no issues with farmers on the PSA today however we did unfortunately come across 4 DNF's on the series. We also came across a couple of caches which were crumbling due to the exposure to the weather. I will place 'Needs Maintenance' logs on those caches for the CO
Had a great time out and about in SA today and looking forward to what tomorrow brings. Would like to thank OzFiresafe for the PSA series and firesafe for the APM series. Also all the other CO's who have caches out that we have been hitting over the next week and a bit
Bring on the Oz Mega
Took a little while to get this one, specimenX went to the lower level and I remained on the higher level. Eventually specimenX spotted the little bugger after I read out a couple of the logs Thanks for the find Tk2
