I tipped out the water and put it back where I found it, unfortunately I did not have a spare log sheet with me at the time or I would have replaced. Sorry, I'm going to log a needs maintenance. Attempted this with Loki Pagan after enjoying a coffee with them

Last time I was here GZ was crowded with fisher folk so a find was out of the question..

Arrived at GZ and I was able to make a quick retrieval as and older couple that were following were looking elsewhere

log soon signed and replaced

Met up with Kaisho53 who was in town for a coffee before tackling a couple of the Strand caches still on our map. Thought we might get muggled out but luck was with us! This was a quick find by Kaisho. Thanks ICP Smile (1 more day of crazy caching month to go!)

On our way northwards we put in an additional day inTownsville for the Reef Aquarium and some caches. There were not a lot of them up to now but Townsville seems to be a stronghold of caching.
After visiting the aquarium we walked along the strand and picked up each cache in reach. That was a very nice walk. On the other hand we were not alone which made it not easier! Somehow we managed it anyway except for the last one, where there were too many muggles.
Reading the hint while approaching did not really help in the first moment until I saw was it means. Nearly under the eyes of a dozen fishermen I located and grabed the cache.

North Qld 2013. Day 8 was Charters Towers to Townsville. With the popularity of the esplanade I was concerned it might be busy out here, but no one was about and I was able to deal with this one by my self. Thanks.

Finally a cold windy day kept the muggles away. I've known where it was for ages but unable to get close enough. Sl tnln tftc.

#347 another nice cache...

I came over to this one from campfire by the old gum, and there were still a few muggles, but less than before. When the fishermen were talking about the fish and looking away from GZ, i quickly grabbed the cache, and took off for the seat nearby to sign the log. As i was signing with a pen, i put the small pencil and ziploc bag from the cache next to me. Unfortunately the wind came, and humpty pencil had a great fall... I managed to save the ziploc bag though. Replaced the log in the cache, and waited for the right moment before replacing the cache... I think no one noticed Wink

Thanks for the cache I.C.P TBs visited.

Day three caching with pprass.
We decided to do the town area, as we thought there would be a few less muggles.
A muggle in the area, but not looking at us.
A quick grab, signed, and returned.
Thanks for the cache, insane.cache.posse.

Found at 12:39 PM in the company of The Drovers GAFF1. The wind was quite strong now - no one fishing so it was an uninterrupted find.
Thanks insane.cache.posse.

Was at The Strand with friends who are visiting from Victoria. Must say, it didn't exactly present itself at its best - 'cold' and very windy Sad. But on the other hand, the Jetty was completely empty Smile so I quickly grabbed the cache. Lucky I didn't have to look for long Wink.

Had a feeling where this one would be, given a previous visit to Townsville and to this location. Fish not biting, but still they try! TFTC from a Melbourne cacher.

Walked out here just after dark and found a fisher muggle and long suffering girlfriend near GZ. Grabbed the cache while no one was looking and did the duties then ended up having a long conversation with them after I replaced the cache. They were none the wiser.

At least I didn't have to scale and clean.

Thanks!

After grabbing the Apple Cache we had to make this find.
At GZ there was only one muggler fisherman. After previously finding this cache we knew exactly where this one is hidden. When the coast was clear Cat made a quick grab of the cache. Opened log and its an Big GrinFTFBig Grin for us.
Thanks for replacing this cache.
