This cache is currently listed as Archived in our database.
The could be for one of several reasons:
- The cache is archived on the cache's listing site.
- Geocaching Australia has not received any data in our feed for this cache in a reasonable amount of time and it has been auto-archived.
- The cache's status has only recently changed on its listing site and we don't know about it yet (can take up to 7 days).
- The cache has been incorrectly set as 'Archived' by a user.

##Cache Maintenance Required please.##
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit, to address the issue described in the logs.
The cache owner needs to either fix the problem or archive the listing, after picking up any geo-litter. In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page.
See the maintenance section of the [Geocache Hiding Guidelines](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance).
If there is a good reason for a delay in enabling this cache, please post an update note log here on the cache page so that everyone will know what's going on.
When the maintenance is completed, you can re-enable the listing by entering an "Enable Listing" log, and then post an "Owner Maintenance" log to clear the "Needs Maintenance" attribute, if set.
I will check back in 30 days to be sure that the maintenance has been done, or that further information has been provided.
If there has been no action to repair the cache, or explain the situation, unfortunately I will need to Archive this cache. Caches archived because of lack of maintenance will not be unarchived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

Found with The X-Trailers in terrain I hate. Should be a rant for rocks like nano's in SA. Some of this series took longer to locate than others. Fun time all the same

Found at 10:42:00 AM(t) GAFF3.
A very subtle hide for a sistema container that we thought would stick out like the proverbial! However thanks to excellent co-ords the cache was spotted - in a very well hidden location.
Thanks Lumpyjrb.

The journey continues with ilook4geo. We decided to have a go at this series and actually managed to find each one and sign the log. We did do some rock scrambling but success gives encouragement for the next one. Thank you to Lumpyjrb for putting out this series of caches.
Doing some more caching today with goingplaces2 and found this cache. Log was signed and all was replaced as found. Job done! TFTC.
After attending the mega in Townsville we are now heading for Darwin. First a couple of nights in Katherine at the Riverview cp. This was one of the caches we targeted and found. Thanks for arranging the hide.
Our last day in Katherine, so today was heading back north to grab those caches we could not get with the caravan on..

This was the most difficult cache to unearth of this rock and roll series. I just did not move the right thing. Muggle husband had just got out of the car to help when I did move the right thing. He was very grateful.
On our way to Darwin from Perth. Such a spectacular road trip! And nice to get some caches along the way! TFTC
Well this one isn’t giving itself up.
If it’s a sistema container, and the fire activity that’s been through here in the last year or so suggests, then either it’s burnt or for some reason a lot of us have missed this one.
I wasn’t too keen placing my fingers in around the crevices.

This one has me stumped, only one of the series we couldn’t turn up! Left no stone unturned, will try another day.
Met another oliver python sleeping nearby .. we must have woke her up and she moved for us. Unfortunstely log was soaked to be inked
Found during our honeymoon trip. Almost 1 month driving through Australian country.
It was an amazing trip.
Thanks for this cache

With geohubby driving shuttle busses for the V8 supercars all weekend I treated myself to a caching trip. We are partial to a bit of rock and roll so couldn't leave this series alone. Left a shell. TFTC Lumpyjrb
Glad to find this one. I had geodriver drop me at the top along this abandoned road and jogged back. TFTC series and the side trip
Still travelling NT after the Red Centre Experience but now moving towards Birdsville in QLD for the Big Red Bash.
We camped overnight between Edith Falls and Katherine so that we could tackle the nearby caches.
This cache has been burnt/melted in the recent fires so we replaced it.

Today we explored Edith Falls and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

2 week holiday in the nt cross caching trip with geoparents who have come from germany for a visit.
Unfortunately 2 weeks go so fast and after having driven down from darwin to alice springs and uluru we have to make our way back to darwin for our flight back to cairns but not without finding a few more caches. ☺tftc sl

On our way from Perth to Darwin we saw many great things and places - many of them thanks to geocaching! We thank the owners for sharing their favorite spots with us by hiding their caches!
The second last find along this old road and a nice quick find it was as well.

Found, while heading towards Katherine, we unhooked the caravan and took the side road.
As we both love Rock 'n' Roll music, we were looking forward to completing this series.
For the 7 caches, it made us use all the geo-skills we have.
A good variety of containers, with some very imaginative hides.
Thanks for the series, Lumpyjrb.

After the breakfast Meet & great Darwinites we headed out to do a few caches with 2Lost-Souls.
I'm glad this has been recently been replaced so that we can record a perfect 10/10 for the series.
Thanks Lumpyjrb

Found today with DiMorgan who were kind enough to take me caching. Thanks Lumpyjrb for this series
Think we found the melted remains of the cache so have replaced until cache owner can check ... Thanks Lumpyjrb 4TC:)
This was our 4th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 12:53
So this now makes our total find count 6900.

Another wonderful day in Katherine. The cache raid today was a random start point followed by a string of caches selected, in most cases, by the "next closest" method.
This cache is lucky. A fire has just gone through here, and the nearby tree is still smouldering and smoking.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Average (Around 5 metres).
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks Lumpyjrb for the hunt today.

a nice easy find in rocks
a nice easy find in rocks
After 5 days in Darwin for the V8's and a little sightseeing it was time to head south back to the cold. Of course we grabbed caches on the way. Spent today in the Katherine area before staying the night at the Mataranka Thermal Pool.
Quick find and sign for this one. TFTC.

Lumpy will be getting inundated with logs tonight.
What a nice little series.
Has anyone else noticed that the colour of the flowers changes at every cache ...?!

Saw this group of seven pop up, so parked the rig in Katherine and went back north. Decided to start from No 1, which was just as well, since it gave us a string of 5 out of seven FTF's. YEAH!
So... R and R # 2 was FTF for us, as well.
That part of the road has certainly changed since we first drove along it in 1976!
Thanks for the series, Lumpyjrb
Nice hides - all different and all interesting.
