Searched the area, but sadly a DNF for us here today. [8)] Hopefully we were just cache blind again.
Thanks anyway Lumpyjrb

With a very long search today and...
looking at the last few logs.
Maybe a confirmation from the CO would be helpful.
That the cache is still in place

I couldn't see the cache. I shone a torch down, but saw nothing but my light reflected up, from I'm guessing water. I also looked over the object. So a DNF!
Today we explored Edith Falls and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. Lid broken, used tape to close the cache holder close.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

2 week holiday in the nt cross caching trip with geoparents who have come from germany for a visit.
Unfortunately 2 weeks go so fast and after having driven down from darwin to alice springs and uluru we have to make our way back to darwin for our flight back to cairns but not without finding a few more caches. ☺tftc sl

Easiest find so far..... TFTC
Needs maintenance. Container deteriorated due to the elements.

On our way from Perth to Darwin we saw many great things and places - many of them thanks to geocaching! We thank the owners for sharing their favorite spots with us by hiding their caches!
Approaching GZ, Mr TiedyeSmileys said the cache was there, only half thinking it was true but sure enough, there was the cache in its funny little hiding place. Wonder what its original purpose was for.

Took the geo pup out for a cache maintenance run. All is well with the cache. Happy hunting!
Wow very interesting structure. Can anyone please elaborate as to what this is or was?
Found, while heading towards Katherine, we unhooked the caravan and took the side road.
As we both love Rock 'n' Roll music, we were looking forward to completing this series.
For the 7 caches, it made us use all the geo-skills we have.
A good variety of containers, with some very imaginative hides.
Thanks for the series, Lumpyjrb.

This one was a bit of a change from the others in the series and we enjoyed locating this cache-thanks4TC
This was our 6th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 13:01
So this now makes our total find count 6902.

Another wonderful day in Katherine. The cache raid today was a random start point followed by a string of caches selected, in most cases, by the "next closest" method.
Yep, no rocks nearby.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres).
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks Lumpyjrb for the hunt today.

spotted tis quickly in the rocks
spotted tis quickly in the rocks
After 5 days in Darwin for the V8's and a little sightseeing it was time to head south back to the cold. Of course we grabbed caches on the way. Spent today in the Katherine area before staying the night at the Mataranka Thermal Pool.
Quick find and sign for this one. TFTC.

Mr Bushies2 went down there by himself but he couldn't find so I went to help him and found it quickly...spider web covered the cache! Had to use a stick to bring the cache out...put in a few small rocks inside to stop it from falling down. A fav from us Thanks Lumpyjrb for the series.
Quick find on the way to Darwin to a cousins Wedding why not do some caching on the way. seem to be claimed thrid to find again as one group claimed FTF joint had another cacher second, yes it was hot ! TFTC

Locked onto this one without having to check the coords. Looked like a great place for a cache and sure enough, another if this series in hand. Kind of cool little echo going on too. SL TFTC.
Nice quick find with the OFH. Awesome location - a cache you can talk to and it'll talk back lol
Make sure you feed it some rocks when you find it!!!
Loved it - and had to give it a fav point Keep 'em coming Lumpy!

Saw this group of seven pop up, so parked the rig in Katherine and went back north. Decided to start from No 1, which was just as well, since it gave us a string of 5 out of seven FTF's, including this one. YEAH!
R and R #4... FTF, too. I like this game!
That part of the road has certainly changed since we first drove along it in 1976!
Thanks for the series, Lumpyjrb
Nice hides - all different and all interesting.
