Our 100th cache find! We have come a long way since our first adventure to find 1 cache! This cache was out in the open, put back where it looked like it came from.TFTCRed Gum Disability Support Services
Day out having morning tea with Jamesta18 today at the Monkey Nut Cafe in Lyndoch. Lovely scones to be had ??Finding some caches was also on the agenda, rain didnt stop us exploring dirt roads and enjoying the beautiful scenery this region has to offer??Found cache as we drove by, SL TFTC ??P.S I do love me some Chardonnay in the summertime ????
Out to try and get the '50' before it heats up. 1st for the day. TFTC Bruce's.
What was meant to be a swift 2-3 hour round trip to Snag a Tag, turned into an unplanned Geo Day
A great day it turned out to be! Snagged The Tag, accidentally Jet-skied a multi, met a fellow Geocacher, achieved my Daily Cache find and thereby achieved the first day of the July Wheel of Challenges, aswell as adding just shy of a dozen other caches to the list, which adds to the other milestones and challenges I am working toward
Got the number for future reference once I find the others!

Another sketchy one, but we found it in the end.
We think this one has to be re-hidden.

Out and about doing some geocaching found with superman_22, giselle_13. Yes easy after the gps worked.
We are finally able to travel interstate without heaps of loops to jump through. We thought we would take it easy and have a look around South Australia and grab a few more LGA's while we were here.
.We had a bit of time to spare before the wineries opened so we grabbed these nearby caches
A quick find on a windy day
This was find number 10 for the day.

Funnily enough my wife and I are huge white wine drinkers. I suppose that leads to the question, why the hell are you holidaying in the Barossa? Still there is one white wine we won’t come at and it’s Chardonnay.
The main reason we don’t like it is the smell of the oak. We like sticking our noses into a glass of wine before we taste it. For some reason people like resting their Chardonnay in French oak and I’ve smelt fresh dog excrement that smells better. I know there will be some people that love Chardonnay and will be offended by my comments. I think we can all agree that those people are just plain weird. tftc

Found this one at last, it's been a sad face for too long for me and so glad I was able to turn that frown up the right way. TFTC
Out for a days caching around the Barossa.
Cleaned out a few areas and only had 3 dnfs.

Today I headed out for an afternoon of caching in the Barossa. It was a lovely afternoon and enjoyed seeing all the autumnal leaves on the vines very pretty.
Found a nice variety of caches and still so many to come back for.
Found 29 with one dnf so was pretty happy with my effort .
Found this one strewn next to the tree reassembled and added new log book. TFTC interesting container

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
In the Barossa, staying in Nuri with our good friends Snappy Tom Cats. Today our final trip (hopefully) into Gawler for medicals, then drive back via Tanunda and Anguston.
My favourite wine, but almost a dnf, untill we returned and had another pass of one particular tee. Thanks bructus, fave point for the wine.

Enjoying some Nuriootpa caching before the tour passes through tomorrow. Thanks for the hide.
Out doing a bit of wine tasting so this is an apt cache to find. Quick find with rcambo. TFTC.
Today @gridge98 and I headed north primarily to attend the Gawler event, and used it as an excuse to geocache around the vicinity for common unfound caches of ours. We started out with a couple of geocaches at Munno Parra, before visiting Evanston Gardens just next to Gawler. We then made out way towards Kapunda, stopping off at Freeling (some great wetlands here), Fords, and Bethel. It was then one final detour to Truro for our targeted adventure for the day *Under the Bridge*, a D 4.5 / T 5.0 geocache. With our limited time remaining before obligations required us to be home, we found a few previous troubled and new caches around Nuriootpa. A nice day to be geocaching around, except the couple of locations requiring us to walk through the dried grass, collecting sharp grass seeds through our shoes and socks. It's that time of year where gaiters start becoming a must!
Gridge98 had a previous DNF here and attempted to have this one archived. However, it appeared to have been here all along, and today, we made the find. The cache and logbook were all good, thanks bructus for the cache placement and maintenance.

This was another sad face I had in the area, made a quick find here today. Oh how good is it to turn the frown upside down
Today I headed north with Davidwazza to collect some caches but it was mainly based around the event at gawker and was the main reason we headed up this way. With some cache unfound around kampungs and Nuriootpa we finished the day off in those areas. Overall a great day out with 26 finds.
Thanks for the cache

While camping near Nuriootpa for a couple of days, we decided to do an assortment of caches around the area today with ilook4geo. Some were a bit more difficult to spot than others, but we ended up with a good haul of caches to add to our tally. Each log was initialed and all was put back as found before we moved on. This was one of the caches we found.
Thank you to bructus for placing this cache.

Hi there bructus.
This is the 4th of 5 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but we just couldn't locate your cache. We did find something we thought was a "clue card" though, so here's a DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

Hi there bructus,
RE: Your cache **"Chardonay cache"**
We are really sorry to report that the cache is possibly missing, or perhaps way out of place. It really needs some owner TLC.

CO update. A cache has been installed as a replacement. Previous location has been refurnbished by roadside maintainence crew...
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

[Sun 2 Dec 2018] Like many before me, I too, wasn't able to locate this one. I tried digging a bit in the tree litter, hoping not to arouse and arachnid activity lol, but I came up empty handed [v], oh well, no Chardonnay for this blue birdy today [probably a good thing being behind the wheel lol ]
hanks for the challenge anyway, bructus

Nothing for us today, suspect it hasn't been found for over a year. Time for a CO check?

Didn't find this one, like previous logs state. Needs checking please.
Thanks anyway bructus.

No luck today during our drive around Nurioopta to grab some of the caches we didn't have time to do last time we were here. TFTC
Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a novel and apt cache container. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks bructus for the cache.
Having a day trip to Nuriootpa with my daughter & granddaughter (TT016) on this wet & wintery day stopping to collect a few smileys...

Cache # 5 of 21 for this Sunday around Nuri.
The Parrot was on a roll to try and get closer to the 10, 000 mark as this last 500 seems to be taking forever.
Found some room to log.
This cache has 2 maintenance logs and could do with being checked by the owner.
