Found poor Steve. I completely forgot that I had read he was broken so didnt bring superglue. The area is getting a bit messy, I hope someone doesnt come along to clean up and dispose of him. I took some rubbish away from him just in case.
steve1269, I found your cache Where on Earth is Steve? The elf was found split into two, but the log sheet is dry and healthy . SL Thank you for bringing me here and TFTH.
NZJ. Found mr steve. But the log was wet and torn still managed to sign. Oh and we have some sad sad news, poor stevie is broken in half, some superglue would work though... tftc
Found the little critter in his secret hide-away. Meerkats are now also hiding beneath some colourful painted camo!!
Found the gnome but not the meerkats
Used maccas bag to as log sheet old one was wet
Will meet maintenance

We found the meerkats but not the gnome - we think it may have been under a rock but has been taken
Cute cache! It took me a few minutes to find as I tried a couple of different approaches but finally spotted the little guy. GZ was deserted, which made the search easier. Thank you for the cache Sparky1269.
We'd found this earlier in the year with pennygee, but logging with our own username now. Steve was resting quietly and the meerkats were still here. The log has obviously been wet and now dried but means it's rally hard to open the log. Signed on the outside, but probably could do with a new log.
Also the log holder part under Steve has come loose.
TFTC.

Very cute cache! So pleased I found him. Unfortunately the log has become very wet somehow.
Found the little guy playing peek-a-book in the bushes. Signed the log and admired the meerkats on the way back to the car. Thanks Sparky1269.
Yay! We found him. Steve was where he should have been, with plenty of ants keeping him company. This cache has the significance of being our last cache for this school holidays.
Thanks for the cache steve1269 and the additional info for finding this little fella

Steve is still there. I came through today and replaced his log so that now he can write down all of his new friends' names. Happy hunting!
Having just found "a little birdy told me" up the road we continued our cycle and were looking forward to possibly meeting Steve.
We found the view that Steve was enjoying but no sign of the little fella. Conscious of the fact that previous finds were a few months ago and some distance from GZ, we searched the whole length of the path but to no avail. We even checked out the bus stop in case he had tired of the area and wanted out, but he wasn't there.
The kiddies had enough of the heat, but I was struggling too to be honest so we headed off home again with our 50% success rate for the second day in a row.
Thanks anyway steve1269

Yay, after much searching we found the little dude. Our GPS devices has us no where near what ended up being GZ! Log book is extremely wet so we were unable to log it, however I've attached a photo as proof of our find. Found with Minergal! TfTC!
Log book is wet. Can you please check his location coordinates, as two gps's were leading us to the same spot about 10 mtrs away. The cache is hidden but not covered as stated in the description. We left him as found.
Found this little guy in the second visit. Took a while as GPS was a bit out. Log book is wet have attached a pic as proof. Found with the Fabulous Panda. TFTC.
Quick find on a quiet Sunday morning, found steve to be leaking, was able to leave my mark anyway.

Teamed up with The Drovers for a day of caching in the Northern suburbs with beautiful mild weather. We found a variety of great hides in the area while completing 3 big series too. Nice quick find here. TFTC
Picked up JacobsCrew and headed north, for a great fun day of caching.
After completing 3 series in the area, we headed into the suburbs
for a good variety of cache hides, which we enjoyed.
Many thanks for the hunt today, Sparky1269.

He may be back, but nobody seems to be able to find him. It doesn't seem right that the cache has been replaced but no logged finds or dnf's since then - several months too. What did we miss?
Taken Steve for a little walk to get some servicing done. He'll be back to hiding soon
Found with nannajoan7 on our last geo hunt in the west for 2013. very tricky hide. TNLNSL
Thou art a little hidden person. Took us three goes to find him. Your right, he is very shy
Dragged blackrat along as he assured me it was here. Helped me find it quickly and found a little space to sign before replacement. TFTC!
Found after a short search. Log is in tatters and in need of TLC. TFTH. PS Needs a nappy change!!
Little Bertlings went hunting after school! A bit wet out today but just had to stop and get our fix for the day. TFTC!!
This afternoon, a short walk and have a look for Steve. I found hin after a while! Thank you!
Attempting the 31 caches in 31 days, here's my day 2 log. Steve is looking good but his log is a little worse for wear. Might be an idea to remove the detached part one before it gets any more tattered and focus on the intact part 2. TFTC.
I have introduced GeoCaching to the wife this afternoon, and her first words after a little searching we're "its addictive isn't it" the wife had this one found before I even had time to tie the dog up. FTF for the wife.
TFTC Steve.
TFTC Steve.
A tricky hide that had us going for a while but it was the iluvtrekking team who uncovered the cute cache.
Steve is a very shy fellow and kept very quiet, but he did show his face in the end. Thanks steve1269
It make me a good smile... Like this one.. Signed the log at 11:55am. Log sheet - bit damp. Thanks steve1269.
Went in search of Steve today, a little nervous myself after seeing a few DNF's.
Not sure if it was luck, or a special Mother's Day gift to me but Steve was waving to me from his hiding spot seconds after I arrived at GZ.
He was still a little shy but geokid and I thought he was very cute indeed though his log is still rather damp so a little tough to get out. I was concerned I would rip it (but didn't).

Nipped out with the dog for a morning walk, and headed west to pick up a couple of caches
and explore a couple of new parks.
Found "Steve" without too much trouble. All the bushes were holding alot
of moisture so i got soaked rummaging for the cache.
But another Fun hide. !!
(There a munzee close by for those that play that alternative game).

STF. Well after a long search on the first visit today. Came back and the phone had taken me to a different co ord and bam had cache in hand within seconds. Great little cache. TFTC.
Woohoo!! FTF at 3:40pm
This took a long long long search, and by the end I felt like I had covered almost the entire bush area. I was glad it was a quiet day, and not a single person walked along the pathway in the half hour or more that I was there.
In my search I found 2 sprinklers, one of which was no longer in use, an empty bottle, a few shards of broken glass, and plenty of bits of wood and rocks. Searching for an 'other' sized cache is always an interesting exercise especially in a bush area.
The cache title reminds me of a computer game I used to play "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego". Thanks for the hunt steve1269!
