Over visiting from NZ for a month and today is our last full day. I needed a few more finds to crack 500 for the trip and set a new monthly record. This group of caches in the Burbank area looked like they would be ideal for an early morning wander, before the day reached the predicted 34 degrees .. Continuing on now. A nice quick find in 1st beacon checked. Worth a FP from me. Nice to see the orig 2013 log book still going strong. Picked up the TB TFTC
Tftc it's the best. Having a great day, my first one and my 10th find.. with help
A novel take on the series title; I saw a longer one of these used as a Schoolbell once, to very good effect! T4TC:-)
Thanks for the coz he and funny container cover . Log is quite damp and could use a new one. Barely was able to sign.
Looked around but couldnt find it. Maybe because there was two dead trees in the area that confused us
I am needing a J animal for a challenge cache and theres one in this area. Ive also been wanting to find this Big Bang Theory series of caches, so with hubby, we parked in a small area off Mt Cotton Rd and did a circuit walk over a couple of hours. Later we discovered a safer parking area on Cherbon St. We had 12 finds, all fairly easy, and one DNF. We enjoyed our walk in this lovely area. Hard to miss this one so a quick find. Logbook a bit musty but signed ok and replaced as found. Tb copy discovered here. Tftc
I headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.Decided to hit a few around Capalaba.I found your cache, Big Bang Theory 1 today. This is my 2346 find.Quick find.TMRabbit, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF and thanks for bringing me here.
10/5/2023 Find #6091
SaintsMadHouse and I had escaped for another day of Wednesday Madness. We had decided on this area of Bushland to start our day with and would then branch out with other stuff later.
Around we headed to this one, where it didn’t take long off track before we spied the item in question.
A very cool creation, Luckily we disarmed it safely - there were no cachers harmed in the finding of this one today!
Thanks for the cache TMRabbit.

Back burning going on around here at the moment. This one was on the non-burnt side of the track and is in good condition. Very creative!

I had intended to ride through this bush land to collect all the Rats and any other stray in the general area but on arrival I noticed the NO BIKES signs at the entry. I don't know why as these fire trails would have been perfect to the ride. However there were council rangers at the car park so the bike stayed in the car today. That said I had an enjoyable 8 km round trip for the morning.

Another wet day. Expecting a wet log. But not to be. The interesting container helped big time.

Eyyy second find. Starting to see a theme here hahaha. Beautiful area once the park opened up!
Ended our loop for today with a bang! Will be back to finish the series for sure. Nice couple of hours spent with our enthusiastic geohound!!
Easy find with Tim, numerous cache guardians on site (friendly local cache snails and a medium sized huntsman). Log a bit wet, cache a little mouldy but otherwise fine. TFTC.
Today after attending the Van Gogh Alive exhibition, I decided to head out solo for some bushland walks around Capalaba. My first stop was J.C. Trotter Memorial Park and detouring past the various *Big Bang Theory* geocaches, and then I took a few more miscellaneous walks grabbing some of the oldie geocaches in the vicinity. After exhausting my water supply, I decided to finish off my afternoon with driveby geocaches and short walks, in particular, finding a few more of the *Saturday in the Park* (SITP) series.
In the end, walking around J.C. Trotter Memorial Park past the 17 geocaches on offer took about 2.5 hr with a mix of jogging and walking. There were a few other muggles about either jogging or walking their dogs, but I was largely solo during my trip. I am a fan of the *Big Bang Theory* TV show, so although the geocaches weren't physically themed, it was still a nice dedication series.
I arrived and took a short wander around GZ, before eventually finding the cache with not much help from the hint - there wasn't any sign of a small trunk to act as a beacon today? The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Nice outer camouflage, but I didn't exactly quite connect that to the cache's theme. Thanks TMRabbit for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Last find for the day on our very enjoyable loop through some of JC Trotter park. We will have to come back to pick up some the caches we didn't get to today. Loved the cache container for this one. Thanks for placing this.
GPS decided to act up a little here today so just looked around until we spied the cache . All was good with it. TFTC
As we headed to GZ, we were relieved to see there was a hint. But once we were close by, we couldn’t actually find anything it related to. What we did find, however, was a cache staring us right in the face. Caching gods must be happy today. TFTC TMRabbit
An interesting hide in a nice spot! We enjoyed the scenery here, picturesque grass trees and the bottle brushes were in flower.
The hint really wasn't required, this one stands out and can be spotted from a distance.
Thanks For The Cache! #321

Out and about for the day clearing out this reserve. Had my eye on it for a few years but with a bit of motivation and a day with nothing better to do saw a bunch of trads turn into smileys . TFTC
The last one for our loop and an explosive finish. A favourite point for this creative cache. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC
It’s been a long time since I started this series, and therefore a long time since I’ve been to J C Trotter Park...
I still watch repeats of Big Bang Theory today... and much to the annoyance of my partner I still laugh...
Thanks TMRabbit for bringing me back here today...

Out for our sunday Caching session with BFG this one proved slightly more tricky than first thought.
But in the end BFG bet me there.

The clue described so many possible locations. We actually gave up and stumbled across is it on our way back to the path! A rainy day but still a fun walk.
I couldn’t find the burnt out stump mentioned in the hint, but the coordinates were good and the hiding spot is certainly distinctive. The log is ever so slightly damp but can still be signed. I’m thoroughly enjoying this beautiful piece of bushland. TFTC
Getting to the end of the trip. This one is a nice easy find. Tad damp but hopefully it’ll dry out
TFTC!

Day 3 of Mr RoddyC's treatment. Need some exercise so was dropped off on his way.
Very still morning today. No one in site. Can hear the birds.
Quick find.

Sorry generic part of the post.
What an awesome day or should that be exhausting! Out with geonayfee to try and complete 50 plus caches in a day. With this cache we completed it.
We completed 2 series and a few target caches, a few earth caches and a couple of puzzles…. Awesome day and a lot of driving and walking but the challenge was completed, thank you for being part of our challenge, next is 80 in a day

Chamad was telling me the other day that he was wanting to try and do 50 caches in a day for the badge, so yesterday I asked if he was keen to go out and find them. We organised a time and place to start our run which was by Burbank. We wandered around a few reserves and then decided to head towards Springwood for a few Earth caches, mystery’s and trads.
All in all we had a great day out and we’re both completely exhausted.
Sorry for the generic post.

TFTC smile 5651 out and about with miss Millie geo dog on our way Southside to pick up a few oldies, caches that is, had a big day, picking up all the big bang series as well. Thank you for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Out today with my Geocaching’s buddy Grannysmith1947. Our target again was one old cache and a animal cache for that animal alphabet challenge. Have two more to get. After that one it now leaves me one to get. Yippee .
But there is 17 caches in this park, I have to clear this park out. Found 16 one DNF, so not to bad I think.
Then Grannysmith1947 notice another old cache in the park next door. So we had to visit that old one to.
So two old caches today. And 4 yesterday
Plus two 2006 ones too
Sorry for the generic post
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC TMRabbit *354* streak. *2135* Finds

The clue was a bit like Yellowbeard giving directions to his treasure - stagger, stagger, crawl, crawl...
No joy after going around in circles. Next time perhaps, because I need my lunch! (Also I have an injured hand and did PT this morning, which was all legs. So I might be a bit tired too

Early morning bike ride to collect the caches here.
Ending my loop of this forest with BBT #1, another good one.
Some ants are sheltering close but this did not impact the cache.
Thank you for this cache TMRabbit

Gotcha! Lovey walk out in JC Trotted memorial park today. Tftc and it all started with a big bang. Love it
What a apt cache this was. Really enjoyed this. Thanks TMRabbit for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Midday after arranging to meet ESCR to complete Makku Mob - Tingalpa we stopped for an ice cream which turned into 3pm lunch because Oddiewan looked at his stats and saw he only needed 20 to reach geocache find number 200. He found Trotter park on the map full of 18 hides— all with recent finds and logs with the likes of “quick find”. A plan was then hatched— neither of us had enough battery power to last the whole hunt so we made the plan to economise our devices turning off all redundancies. We parked at the trailhead and headed off, with the idea that we spend only 5 min at each hide and employed a bit of a get-ahead approach where I remained to sign the log, once found, while he ehaded off to search for the next. In most cases I caught up before he had laid hands on the next one. It was efficient and we found all 18, only one in poor condition (but dry). A brilliant day ending in us finding the final three back near home. Thanks for all the caches. This was a great park to send a Sunday afternoon. Cheers, semik
I was in need of 11 gems for the mystery at the museum challenge and the filters suggested this would be a good place to tackle today. I am a fan of The Big Bang Theory show, and enjoyed finding these caches. TFTC
We were looking in all the wrong places here so we pulled out a second phone as sometimes one phone places us in one spot and the other phone places us in a different spot. While walking over to GZ Mr 4ando copped a mouthful of ‘How on earth did you miss that?’ seeing as though it was in his area. Sometimes things can just be over seen.

A couple days late logging this one but really enjoyed this series! Tftc! Teazr and Spellzen
Once again I was searching no where near where the hide was. Teazr to the rescue! At a certain angle, this one becomes rather hard to miss. Great container! Cheers! Spellzen and Teazr
