Shame to see this cache archived. Was probably the hardest cache ive ever found. Was a really great hide, that, without cachers using PAF would have left many more DNF's with multiple visits to find.
I for one was a fan.
I for one was a fan.
Found the WP1 coordinates on the Monday of the long weekend, but way too many people around to even attempt the cache grab. So came back this morning on an early morrning bike ride and far fewer people around, even though it's school holidays. Only took a minute or so before I looked and saw. Retreated a safe distance so I could sign log and then waited for passers-by to pass by before I could return the container. Very interesting cache. I like it. Thanks for the cache duck43.
Headed out this morning to grab as many of the caches around the river as we could. Goorjus69 and I parked at the southern end of the Mt Henry bridge and we were joined halfway around by T-Mack2. Very enjoyable morning out on the bikes, I found 18 with 3 DNFs. Found the coords on the window at waypoint one, will have to head back to find the actual waypoint here. TFTC duck 43
Tied for this one some time ago and failed but today, not many muggles around on a Monday afternoon and fairly quickly spotted. T4TC Duck A favourite coming up for this audacious one!!
No luck with WP1. But used co-ords on window to find the prize. Nice duck hide. No muggles at 2:00 in the morning.
Another masterful piece of camo at the final location. Thankfully it was fairly quiet so i was able to make an uninterrupted find. TFTC.
Muggle city....wow , there are people everywhere....I manage to spend time here to get this one....TFTC
Out for a lunch time stroll along the river and stopped in at the cafe for a drink. Grabbed the coords for the final spot and wandered over to go and have a look. Mid week is certainly the time to grab this one as there were no inquisitive muggles nearby. Sneaky hide! Thanks Duck43 for another challenge.
BISSRA got the wrong number at first place. Searching for another 10 mins we found the correct coordinate. A bit further away from GZ tho. TFTC legend Duck43 a very creative well hiden cache. One of my favorite
Very clever and unlikely to be found if you are not searching for it !!
Thanks duck 43...favourite point.
Thanks duck 43...favourite point.
Enjoyed this one. The geokids were able to play one the swings nearby while i pondered the cache. Found the waypoint pretty quickly, then it was off to the final location. GZ was spot on for me which probably helped me catch on quickly to this one. Have to watch the muggles with this one tho. Loved the camo. TFTH
On an awesome day out bike riding with my family, jasenjanine & MNS13, Justintime13, Kyzabra, Cee-Kay-2003, m4yb, megawat60, Granett, Hiddo, jinta29 & Percival Mastiff we found this cache... Thanks duck 43
Headed out on this glorious day for a ride around the bridges with a select few from the Geocaching WA Group... This was our first stop for the day after getting our bikes ready for the tour
This is the first time I have looked for this one, however I did spend considerable time looking for "Just Look"... So today when we arrived I was more than happy to see that WP1 was now easy & we could just concentrate on the final After a few minutes of searching in our huge group plus the pile of muggles at this spot also, I discovered this sneaky creation
TFTC duck 43... Very well hidden, as I have come to expect from you! Love your work [^] Once again sorry for our little mishap, although I don't know that Master 2 even realises what he did...

Good job Janine
Thanks for cache duck

We met up with several other cachers to grab a few smileys around this area. There was a great variety of caches and hiding spots and we ended up having no DNF's and about 25 found . We were all on cycles and the loop took just under four hours
A great cache here that had us all scratching our heads for a few minutes until jasenjanine came up trumps. TFTC duck43. A favourite from us

Our first find for the days group ride around the bridges, oh what confusion with people milling around the spot and I was not sure exactly who was a cacher or a muggle!! But what a fun day, thanks to all and we start with a great find of a great hider. Thanks duck 43
This was our starting point for our group bike ride. We went as a group to gather the numbers required and moved on to the final! Great fun was had with us all looking, then a find by jasnjanine! Great start to our day of riverside duck43 hunting! TFTC duck43!
Headed up towards perth today to meet up with a bunch of other cachers to tackle some of the hides up here, in Duck country.
We had a very successful day with 25 finds all up, taking about 4 hours on the geo-cycles.
The amount of thought and work that has gone into these caches, is nothing short of amazing. Thanks for the cache Duck 43
This was find no 1, with lots of people around today it was a bit hard to tell who was who, but I think it provided us some good cover. Very very clever! Fav point from me!

A nice afternoon planned out riding the river from Canniong Highway, down to Mt Henry bridge.
The crew consisted of Kyzabra, Hiddo, Jasenjanine, MNS13, Jinta29, M4YB, Megawatt60, Granett, Jnr cachers Ceekay2003, Justintime13, Dangermouse09, and a couple of muggle kids as well.
We must have looked a right group today "Just looking"
Timed it well with a neccassary purchase for cover and it was Janine who came up trumps.
A great hide Duck43, A fav point from me.

Had a great day today on a joint bike ride around the bridges, about twenty bikes in total, including the kids. According to my Garmin I did 12 km at an average speed of 9.1km/h over a period of nearly 4 hours, with a well earned ice-cream at the end!
I got introduced to the "duck 43" hide style today and was glad to have the extra eyes about because I think I would have been struggling on my own.
I am able to claim about 23 finds in all with a couple of puzzle caches to solve before logging them officially.
Safety in numbers definitely works while geocaching, on arrival at a GZ the muggles end up being the ones feeling weird as a group of twenty or so people arrive in their area and seem to be on a mission for something. I saw a few fishermen and walkers scratching their heads this afternoon.
This was number one for the day, jasenjanine was the first to spot this sneaky hide in a very muggle intensive area. We did have a bit of a problem putting the cache back though, it seems that little Tyler made the stopper for the cache disappear, we fixed it up as best we could but a tool is definitely needed to retrieve the log in the near future.
Never the less the first of a few favourites on the day from me.

Part one has been muggled so now it is necessary to take the co ords off the windows. It is still a very interesting and difficult hide!
FlyingPigSquadron has landed! Well duck you have excelled yourself here thanks for another fantastic hunt
the first leg took us a while as we stopped nearby for lunch. You are slipping Mr Duck or I have your measure pretty much walked in and had the beast in hand. SL TFTC Just love the innovaction behind these caches
Took a (very long) while to find but with the "help" of cravo10 and knowing how duck had hidden some of his other caches it was found. Really enjoying your hunt duck43! Tftc
Met up with FelixII and "the girls" for a Duck43 cache run.
While the girls took off on foot, male-Felix and I took of on our bikes to hopefully cover a wider area.
Looking forward to having more experienced eyes and even a previous finder along with me to tackle these!
Mr Felix was not blunt in his hint for this one as time and muggle ratio was against us!
This would have taken a bit of time for sure, Awesome, simply AWESOME!
Well worth the reputation for great camo and placement!
Glad I have a bunch of favourite points available, this rightly deserves one!
Thanks soooo much Duck43 for your efforts in making this game challenging and rewarding!

Out on a beautiful Perth day, caching with Everlasting and Freddo who is visiting from SA.
This was one of a massive 40+ caches attempted today.
Muggles everywhere, but we DID IT! Goodness knows how, with having had to do 2 laps of the carpark

A very cunning hide, not many muggles around today made it easier.
Worth a favourite. TFTH

This one took some finding. Luckily Marge did not listen to her sceptical family and found the cache.
Geo wife decided she wanted a cache fix so we loaded up some of the loose ones around the area that have come out managed to get 12 in 3 hours ...... We found GZ to be out on the road after quiet a bit of searching we ended up PAF to get a hint ...We looked at this spot a few times but dismissed it thinking it couldnt be that ....The Geowife said try that spot again whoe and behold the cache surfaced and so did the ants with a millon ant eggs Great hide ....Fav point again ....
Spent over an hour looking and looking with my caching buddy Ahomburg. Found the details for GZ quickly enough but once at GZ the elusive hide could not be found. I'm sure its there just too good for me today. The weather was really bad, strong winds and 45 degree rain at times. Good conditions for hunting around the local area for a cache I must say as the muggles were not seen. When I'm back in Perth again I'll try again as I am very curious how this one is done. Very impressed by your other hides duck 43 by the way. I shall return....
Great camo on this one! Will certainly cause issues for cachers in the future. Don't let that put you
Off though. It's worth the search.
Off though. It's worth the search.
A wonderful way to finish the day's caching. All wet and bedraggled after a day's caching in the rain, and looking forward to a nice warm shower and change of clothes. However the anticipation and enjoyment of the ingenuity and variety of these duck hides gives huge incentive to push on.
Loved both the WP and the final hide of this little multi! The genius in action yet again!
Thank you for concluding our day on such a high note duck 43.

Back today for another try at this one. Another awesome hide. Well done Mr duck43
We were walking and going to have a coffee when we remembered we had failed to find WP1 here before. This time there were the coords loud and clear. We are sure they were not there before! Expected something more sneaky. Daughter in law found the cache having learned a thing or two from Seats. TFTC
Found something that may be part of the cache, have advised duck 43, if it was not , then I will be back.....
Seems like I will be back !!!

Quick find here today. I did have a hint from a previous finder, but the cache was still nothing like anything I might have expected to find. Another fav duck 43 for another Journeyman effort. SL. TFTH.
Yay yay yay. After two trips here, success. As if the first way point wasn't hard enough, the second one is awesome. Could this be my favourite duck? I really like out for a duck, Shirley's hurdle, and wildflower walk, but then there is Melville water, those impossible jetty ones, whats next, hard to decide, no, I think this could be the best out of the ones I've done, in my opinion. The master has out mastered himself on this one. Can't be topped fav point for sure.
(catch up log)
Called in today for a look and soon found the cache but not where we were expecting it to be.
Thanks duck 43 for the cache.

A great camo at w/p1 which led us to a gz that we scoured thoroughly with iluvtrekking. Probably the most creative and authentic looking urban camo we have encountered by the ever astounding duck 43.
We found four amazing camo caches today but this one was a doozey.

Quickly found WP1 then on to the truly excellent final waypoint. Thank you duck43 for another excellent cahce and a favourites point from us.
Hooray finally found it - lost count that I have been look at it..... beautiful create excellent job.... Loved it... Signed the log - all good - no wet... Thanks duck 43.
Was out deploying Munzees and having already found WP1 and searched at GZ before I just came and searched the general area of GZ without my GPSr. There were lots of muggles being an early Saturday morning but nether mind! After 15 minutes (And on my second attempt the very sneaky cache was in hand! Absolutely brilliant! Definitely needs a favourite point! Now I understand how so many people encountered DNF's! Thanks for the effort once again duck! I hope to see more devious caches soon!
Second time here and I think I logged my DNF on the original "Just Look". I spent a long time Just Looking on my first visit and didn't find the first waypoint. This time I found the first WP within a couple of minutes and it turned out to be something that I had noticed but dismissed on my earlier visit. Went to final GZ and spent a few minutes there just looking, but didn't come up with a cache. Quite a few muggles were hanging around on the other side of the path ... they seemed to be arriving in small groups and congregating there. TFTH duck 43. I will be back
On a beautiful morning with Keego and AmstradKid out along the Canning River for a Duck Hunt. This is the one that got away, could not find WP1. Our GZ for WP1 was at the back of the cafe on the women's toilet side. The cafe was very busy with a steady stream of ladies and kids toing and froing to the toilet. Adjacent to the ladies toilet was a play ground full of mum's and kids. We tried to discretely look around but our nerve was shot after a short while so will have to return when things are a little quieter. Not a good look......, sheepish guys hanging around the ladies toilets.
Thanks duck 43.
Thanks duck 43.
We had been planning a Duck43 hunt for a little while. The weather was very pleasant as we embarked on our hunting expeditition, having only seen a few of the hides from this tricky and creative hider we knkew we were in for an interesting morning. In the party was AmstradKid, Shortcuthicksy and Jazl the Duck dog.
We decided to have a look for the WP1 here this morning about 10.30am, well that was a mistake, I have never seen so many mother and kids in one place on a week day. GZ had us in a place that usually made us very uncomfortable, a women's toilet, a quick search was made without luck.
We think that we will have to visit this one at a better time when it is not busy.
Pity because we were looking forward to chasing this one down... maybe another time
thx duck 43

At last third time lucky found with Barnzy12 proud to say I found it. It was dry as a bone but no rain since replacement by CO. Thanks Duck always a great hide and success is well rewarded. Added camo from close by to return to original condition. TFTC
Sixth to find! OMG!
Day off work today, burgers at grilld then wembley golf for the driving range with Cravo10 and Parks09. We were about to part ways and head home when I said to Cravo wanna go look at the new duck cache? He agreed and although I took the wrong exit off the freeway we met up at GZ. He had it in hand within 30 seconds of getting here. No hints from me, would diminish the joy of the find. Fav point as usual Sir Duck.

Had a good look today, still no luck, I question as to whether we are even at the right location, pay station and the wooden bollards across the other side of the carpark, just doesn't seem right?

Couldn't find WP1 but enjoyed a coffee and the excellent playground with 3yo grandson before attempting another nearby cache. Will be back.
I finally found it even though I had made a detailed examination of the exact location on my previous two visits and not realised that I nearly had the cache to hand.
What superb camo. duck 43 you have excelled yourself this time.
I reckon it deserves a difficulty rating nearer 10 than 5 !
The log is just a soggy mash now and needs replacing. I left a scrap of paper with Y33 on it in the bottom of the container.

Away in Melbourne. New container next week. Well done Yonnie and KB .Just put something in there as Yonnie did.
Great news!!!! This morning the caching gods finally took pity and I was able to log the find. This is a huge relief since the regular walkers around this area must know me as "the cyclist who keeps looking at the same spot despite claiming she's not looking for anything". Next cycle I'll finally be able to head slightly further south and tackle the flush cache.
There is some damage to the grey concrete cover which is reasonably close to GZ so hopefully your cache remains safe during the repairs.
When I found the cache it was the usual shock that something was actually in my hand and then the "oh dear, oh dear" which often follows as I look around wildly hoping noone is watching. As is often the case, the cache was bigger than I'd imagined so there were more "oh dear"'s as I wondered whether I was going to be able to conceal the cache as it just kept coming!! And then I looked and thought, "Did I do that?" and thankfully I didn't; it was you! I think this cache pushes the limits in terms of potential damage to public property but it's just so clever that it's worth it.
As you are aware, the log is in poor condition. I signed a K.B. in two places using my trusty spacepen but the log did tear when I pushed the stick back into the container.
Thanks for another inventive cache duck 43. Since you're running out of room around the river, maybe you could head north and keep us northerners entertained closer to home?

Well I found WP1 easy as I had found the old cache but at WP2 I had no luck! Something caught my attention but there was a constant stream of muggles so I will come back another day when there aren't so many and see if I was right!
Making new waterproof container so if log too damp just leave note and I will add to new log.
Dnf for me today spent a good hour at GZ. Found something that resembled the cache and yelled out the GOT IT! Only to be disappointed! Best of luck maybe well get a 2TF in the next week or so? Regards SB
You have got me again duck ! Another well hidden cache that keeps me looking despite the rain. Thanks for the hunt and I can say I will be back !
Third time lucky!! Has to be seen to be believed! Log book damp!
Only one more fav for this one Mr Duck. It deserves several.
Note to my fellow Geocachers. If this is a sample of what to expect in the future. Be afraid. Be very afraid!

aahhhh too good - beat me... but coordinate is at middle of road???... but will return back one day... Thanks.
When I arrived at WP2 I met up with Mistaluna which made me less obvious as we wandered about in the middle of nowhere. Met with no success, but will be back for a fresh look later.
Hijacked geobuddy Mark this morning, telling him we were off to the Maldives, and this one was on the way. Yonnie joined in our search, but we all came up empty handed, despite spending the better part of an hour there. Our gps's were both taking us to the same spot, which we couldn't understand as was in the middle of the road/carpark, and it isn't like duck to be out on his coords. No doubt I will return another day when I feel the need for more punishment. Thanks anyway duck 43
PS Wonder what clue mickydv had that we weren't privvy to??

Finally some time for geocaching! So of course I thought I'd do a few duck caches and some others in the area. Unfortunately I didn't get to do the old "Just look" before it was muggled. I found the first way point after a while of looking (and touching gently ), and again couldnt believe what i had found. As I walked off to head to GZ I went back to WP1 3 times just to look at it again in disbelief. Loved it!
Ok, so GZ was muggle central and in the open, and i probably got lots of stares, but hey, i could have just lost an earring or something and i was determined. So oblivious to passer-bys, I did have a really good search. But i heard no evil, spoke some evil, and alas, saw no evil cache. Maybe you should call it the terminator. I'll be back! TFT frustration!

Dropped by today to test out my new GPS, no luck with the cache. Nice spot though and I will be back!
FTF at approx 0900...saw this published last night, but resisted.
Rode to wp1 and found new coords easily enough.....things changed when I got to GZ searched then returned to WP 1 to see if I'd made a mistake...searched for another 20 mins or so when I saw CO pull up on his bike...we had chat he gave hint and carried on....searched some more to no avail...was just about to give in when CO turned up again...more searching and I came up trumps....now I've run out of things to say about duck caches....but this is on another level...masterful camo, in my opinion should be a D5....I will watch with interest to see if others agree....cheers duck43
