Logs
Found with help from a past finder. Lucky not too busy on the track this morning so was able to have a better look.
Finally a smilie face! Its been so long since I feel I got a find due to weather and other factors. I missed this last time I did this part of the track, so it felt good to find it. TFTC
Was a bit confused as there was two tree that fit the hint. Did not have to really look for a long time especially when this is as small as it is. One for another time.
Pretty sure this cache needs replacing as we searched for quiet a while an found a spot that looked to be the GZ location but the cache was not there, unsure if it's been muggled as the No.3 cache that we replaced had also been muggled, hopefully we'll be able to come back an add this one to our smiley face collection in the near future
pedal pedal pedal...
Today was my first outing on the bike since busting my ribs. Seems some exercise was required Good coords made most of the (popular) Track finds fairly easy. There were a few doozys in the mix Later in the day I met the CO on the way back. It was most satisfying to get the wind in my face as I hammered the trail.
Met the CO here

This one took a little bit longer to find than the others on this trail.

LEST WE FORGET
I was after a good number of finds as well as a good walk today, so decided to start the *Fernleigh Track* series at Belmont.
Also, being ANZAC Day, I was looking for an appropriately themed cache as well. Unfortunately, of the two appropriate caches nearby, I was only only able to find one of them. But that's better than none.
Got ten caches plus an AL location and a nice walk with only two DNFs.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Well, this wasn't the sort of hide I expected! But at least it made for an immediate find.
Completed signing duties, re-hid as found, and away.

First of the Fernleigh Track series that we found! Will need to come back for the others another time
Received a message from previous finder that the trre where the cache was hidden had fallen down. Checked it today and it was toast. Placed a new container a few metres away. Same type of hide and same type of container. Yes - another nano!

I picked the wrong banksia to start off with. When I moved to the other banksia I found it straight away! The fishing line that other cachers mentioned and that I was looking out for doesn't seem to be there any more. TFTC!
I eventually found it but it wasn’t where I focused most of my energy. Some people were walking past and I heard them mention geocaching “do you know where this one’s hidden”? I asked but they had done the series a really long time ago. Persistence paid off once again TFTC
Nice walk and hide. Had me looking for a while until I read what others had said. Hit makes sense in hindsight of course. Tftc
We are holidaying with Domsky and took advantage of the cooler, overcast day to do a nice walk and get some caches on the way. All the caches found, especially at the beginning, were tricky hides which took a bit of searching. Thanks for this lovely series along a great walk!
Such a sneaky hide, but the hint was useful and helped us to narrow down where we should be looking.
In hindsight (and isn’t that always the way), it was easier than most nanos in the bush.
Thanks colleda

Having briefly looked for this earlier in the day spent more time and eventually had it in hand. However I suspect it was not in the right place as I was looking for something previous finders had mentioned but was not to be seen? Also the o-ring was broken and lying next to it. Nevertheless a find!
It is very small and cute but definitely discoverable. Did not take us long to find
I initially couldn't find this one today, so went on to look for #5 (DNF!) and Frog Stomp (Also DNF!) knowing that I could look again on my way back. Recent logs made mention of hints and photos from others, so I set about concentrating my search were indicated. It still took some finding! I doubt I would have found this without the help from others in their logs/pics.
I took the tiny cache across the road where there was a handy flat surface, added my name to the log, then dropped the cache lid onto the ground. Among the leaf litter and a thousand little peddles and rocks. OMG. I realised if I couldn't find the lid I would have basically wrecked the cache. Reminded me of the time some mates and I went for a swim in the Royal National Park. We buried the car keys in the sand so no-one would steal them. And when we got back to the car we realised we'd forgotten the keys! Back down to the beach knowing we had to - HAD TO - find the keys. We mapped out a grid in the sand and started digging. We found the keys. It took me ages to find that $%$#^ lid, I was almost about to mark out a grid and start sifting. But I was SO happy I did, was not worried about today's DNFs after that
Anyway, lid found, and cache returned to it sneaky hiding spot. I pity anyone who tries to find this as their first cache ever TFTC!

This one is so creative! The GPS didn't really like this spot so we relied on the clues and pictures from others. Wouldn't have found it if it wasn't for spotting the fishing line. TFTC!
Just when I was ready to go I hear a delighted squeal. Son #1 found the tiny cache. Such a clever hide & clue. The photos from others did help.
Overseas ATM. Will need to check condition of fire damaged GZ when I get home next week.
Found the camo still in place but cache gone. Looked about on the ground and there it was, sitting on top of all the ash. Log roll did not survive. Will replace soon.
Due to the recent fires the track has been closed and due to be reopened "early next week", according to the news media. This cache was in the fire zone. I will check on its condition when the track reopens.
Found it this time. Old man banksia finally gave up his secret. What a great hide. Definitely a favorite. TFTC Colleda.
GeoIan and I decided to attempt the Fernleigh Track cache series. Found it! Great camo.
This one had us searching a wide area, for quite a while. Hint did not help much really, though I did concentrate on part of it which helped in the end. I first spotted that the camo was out of place, then noticed the attachment material. There was still the final act of finding the micro. Very clever use of natural camo.

Checked today and the container was missing. After a bit of a search among the leaf litter I found it. It had not been replaced properly. The container is magnetised. Please replace it the correct way round and in the correct spot for the magnet to work. All good to go.
In an attempt to find all the geocaches along the Fernleigh Track, I Strapped on my helmet and jumped on the mountain bike, and off we go. Parked the car at Dudley and headed south, but Colledas hides can prove rather tricky, and I must look suspicious to other riders with some of the looks that I was getting. This cache was proving particularly tricky, and I was about to leave it til next time, then I spotted something that didn't look quiet right. Brilliant, Fave point for this cache camo. Tftc, visited TBs.
Well, this was about my fourth go at this cache and I wasn't getting any closer, just more frustrated. So I thought I'd just get some help. Before the reply came back I had CIH. Very tricky. And very impressive!!! Not quite what I expected. Definitely worth a Fav. Thanks Colleda for the entire series.
Best one this morning so far!
Thanks for the cache colleda, travelers visited and I signed the log.
