The hint rings true! So glad that I timed it nicely and it there was no muggles about. TFTC! More units for Cosmic Quest!
Went for a night hunt for this one, log wasnt in the best condition so we added a new log, sticker and some swaps TFTF
Quick find after careful check. Sure is bike busy on a Thursday morning. Thanks for the cache.
Doing Fernleigh track on the bike and grabbing a couple caches on the way. Muggles everywhere! Luckily I managed to avoid detection. TFTC!
pedal pedal pedal...
Today was my first outing on the bike since busting my ribs. Seems some exercise was required Good coords made most of the (popular) Track finds fairly easy. There were a few doozys in the mix Later in the day I met the CO on the way back. It was most satisfying to get the wind in my face as I hammered the trail.

We cycled up from Belmont and did the even ones going uphill, then the odd ones on our return. We had trouble with a few of the even ones. However, we are making great progress on our return trip. TFTC colleda
Finally finishing the fernleigh track which has taken three goes. The track was not busy today, just runners and cyclists so that made it very straight forward to find the caches. Got some good steps in too. TFTC and Thankyou for placing and maintaining the trail here it really is worthwhile
After everyone else saying what an easy find I thought this would be a snap. But no luck at all today

After attending the Fernleigh event organized by Geocaching NSW, it was time to mount our bikes and cycle our way from Adamstown to Belmont. It was a slow descending track, and the dedicated bicycle path over the former railroad track made for a very enjoyable ride, and we could enjoy the nature around the track.
After lunch at Lake Mac, it was time to cycle back to Adamstown. But slowly uphill with head wind proved to be quite tiring.
To release out aching muscles we stopped for a few caches along the way.

Continuing on, it was OlMaLol who spotted this one.
We put it down to the fact that their eyes are a lot younger!
Log signed, then time to stop for a bit of rehydration and a drink before continuing.
Thanks colleda

We are holidaying with Domsky and took advantage of the cooler, overcast day to do a nice walk and get some caches on the way. Thanks for this lovely series along a great walk!
Out for a ride on the Fernleigh Track and finding caches along the way. TFTC colleda
Out caching with GeoIan today, and lucky the weather held off with no rain. TFTC
I was appreciating the Public works, when i reaslied we aere at gz already. Soon picked up the geo trail, which lead us to the cache. TFTC.
Quick find. Unfortunately the log is a ball of mush and I didn't have anything suitable to replace it with. TFTC
Gotcha - Found with a bit of searching but unable to log find due to paper being a soggy lump. The little short pencil is our only proof of find.
Found with My Dad (DJANT) and my Brothers (dart16 & Jedi Anakin) I have my own account now and am trying to catch up to the boys Thanks for the cache.
Nice stop and quick find. Couldn't sign though due to extremly wet log. Needs replacing
I was enjoying the walk along the track today but was surprised how many bike riders there were even on a week day. Lucky none around when I searched for this cache . Thanks for the cache colleda tnln replaced as found sl
had to read the log before ours twice cause it says 2012 must have been a long day for them

In an attempt to find all the geocaches along the Fernleigh Track, I Strapped on my helmet and jumped on the mountain bike, and off we go. Parked the car at Dudley and headed south, but Colledas hides can prove rather tricky, and I must look suspicious to other riders with some of the looks that I was getting. Tftc, visited TBs.
When replacing this cache it fell down to where it would never be found again so I braved spiders and the unknown to reach down and get it and plugged up the hole as best I could with sticks so it wont happen again. TFTC
A lot of passers by must have wondered what I was doing down there. This is as far as I'm going today on the bike - 12 km is a good trip given that it's been three months since the last cycle ride.
Can you hear that wheezing sound Swamp Wallaby? It's me, right behind you and catching up fast. I'm being urged on by Little Jimmy sitting on the cross bar. (Cryptic message to my Canadian geobrother!)
Thanks for the cache colleda, trackables visited and I signed the log.

Decided to dust off the scooter and hit Fernleigh today. This is as far as I'll make it today. Time to head back. TFTC
During the oz muster weekend I rode my mountain bike while picking up caches along the way on Fernleigh Track from Belmont to the tunnel and back,The ride was great and I had alot of fun on here.
Thanks to all the cache owners for placing your caches along this trail and providing a top day out.
I found alot of caches on my ride so I apologize for my repeated logs.

A diversion from the OZGM trail for a while to complete the Fernleigh Track series with Darksidedan and BlueIris. TFTC colleda
Got some ghastly stares from muggles when searching for this cache. Again, wandered further than needed. This cache is starting to rust.
General notes: Huge day caching from Morissett to Newcastle with Froggycache and Blue Iris. An early rise to get a good start on the Fernliegh series, and to enjoy the easy flat walk from 20 to 0. Walked through subtropical forest to open eucalypts and marshland. Spent some time finding each cache and even found one that baffled many! Would highly recommend this series (but byo mozzie repellant!). Thanks for the series - we had a ball! TFTC

had to scare away a big skink who was on guard duty next to this cache luck it took one look at me and ran off TFTC
had a really fun time with my great dad BRYZEE it was a really great place TFTC
Our first find of the day for our Christmas day of caching. Not to many muggles in the morning. TFTC
I'm in town visiting family for Christmas and decided I would walk off all my Christmas food by finding some newcastle caches. TFTC
My GPSr wanted to take me a few metres further downstream than I needed to be, but soon spotted something that looked like it could be concealing a cache and sure enough it was. Thanks for the hide.
Found whilst walking the Fernleigh Track from Adamstown to Belmont, with my service dog in tow! TFTC
TFTC. Fairly quick find. Hard to inconspicuous here as you can't see people coming in either direction with enough time.
After failing at finding Fernleigh Track #16 again I came here. Quick find. TFTC
Today my wife (spy79) and I decided to ride the Fernleigh track. Spy79 had done the track before but never while hunting geocaches along the way.
We really enjoyed this series only missed 3 of the (well...) 21.
We'll return with other riding geocachers another day.
TFTC and the fantastic day out.

Contactpete and I decided to go for a bike ride and get the Fernleigh track series. It was due to pour with rain but we thought we would give it a go. Well the day was bright blue sunny skies and we had a great ride.
This cache was easy and Pete came up trumps on this one. Found straight away.
