I went with sweatyyetinz and we looked for 20 mins but we couldn’t find it either.
I have to agree with the last cacher and say that this cache is not there any more. The lamp posts have been concreted in and the "obvious" place to hide a cache is gone.
Quick find where all good at GZ. Thanks for another smilie. Didn't have a proper replacement but did what I could.
Did you know that planning has started for a Mega Event in Wellington in 2018? Check out the details on the [Wellington Event NZ (WENZ) Website](https://sites.google.com/site/wenzgeo2018/home) or visit the event's page on [FaceBook](https://www.facebook.com/groups/590545297801072/)
Hoping to see you at the [Oamaru Geofest](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6M2V0_oamaru-geofest-2017) during Labour Weekend 21-22 October 2017. Let's all help this a successful event!
Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn't be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn't take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.

Quick find for a dot day, after dropping rellys at the Airport.
Found it in the litter so attached it but should have put it under?

Had to take daughter to sports medical place that is here so had a second look for this one. A plastic bag was just sitting there with a wet log book so attempted to sign. As it was so wet I added my own piece of paper- lol whittakers white chocolate wrapper as that's all I had. SL. This may need to be checked as saw no container and if this was actual log it was full and wet. Tftc
Found it! But forgot to bring a pen so couldn't write in the log book. Thanks for the clues and photos (we'd be lost without them!)
It was with some trepidation that I approached this cache... babywearing and exposed wires don't really mix. This was a quick and easy find, not needing to touch any wires at all. Pretty safe as long as you are not silly. Tftc
On my way for a weekend in Wellington. Had planned this as we had a work conference planned on Monday however that's been cancelled due to head office being evacuated due to the building next door being damaged in the recent earthquake. Decided to come to Wellington anyway to do some caching and to go to the Gallipoli exhibition at Te Papa. Am hoping the the earth stays still while I'm here.
As I'm visiting Te Tapa tomorrow, I thought I'd also go and see the Great War Exhibition at the War Memorial Museum. If you haven't been, go - it's very good. Decided to head around Miramar, Lyall Bay and Island Bay for the afternoon. Cache was a quick find here TFTC

Quickly found. quite windy this morning. Day two of our road trip with jordiporsche from hawkes bay to welly and return. Log signed as b&p.Tftc TheNinjaJedi (maintained by heathtree). Find # 3236
WARNING .............. look where you put you hands as a electrical hazard exists here due to cover plate missing from electrical junction box at the rear of object the Cache is attached to.
Cache owner has been informed.
Maybe better not to go there until fixed.

Quick park n grab. Had to wait for the muggles parked right nearby (of course!). Tftc
Not sure this container has been replaced where it's meant to be as it definitely wasn't where it is now last time I looked. Unless the CO has made it easier. TFTC anyway.
Have driven past this one a number of times without stopping. Decided to attack this one today. Was easier to get than I initially thought. TFTC
Was lucky to be with a Wellingtonian to navigate round all these tricky streets and one ways today !
I almost yanked on the wrong components here .....!
Could have been fatal.....but good sense prevailed, and found it with no danger to life and limb needed .Phew !

30/07/16 07:40 Dot Day. And in Wgtn on a weekend Leadership course. Hoping the recent DNF was just that, I included it on a morning ramble. I can see that despite the best efforts of our border patrol, more of these cache types are being smuggled in from the 'States, where I must admit that I had found one - then swore off them - and yet have found 3 in NZ - and this was definitely the best hidden! So Yay! Thanks for the exercise, Cheers, GC.

Pretty sure I'm in the right place from reading the logbook, but nothing doing.
I've driven past this spot many times and wondered how to get to it. Today senior geoteen was umpiring at the sports centre so I had an opportunity to approach from the other side. The coordinates are spot-on and as soon as I approached GZ I knew where to look. Only after I'd completed the formalities did I see the exposed wires a short distance away. Thanks for a surprisingly easy find!
#45. Yay, finally cracked it!! Thanks for finding my sunnies, BrooklynKat. Got them safely on Friday, but had to go back again today to lay my hands on this dratted cache. Two hands clue assisted! Recycled your plastic ziplok to my new cache up on View Road South (Cook Strait Lookout). Found with GB Leader. TFTC!
Thanks for this! This has been on my radar for a while but I've usually been rushing past somewhere else. It had me foxed for a bit (from the other logs I was expecting this) and I was feeling a bit conspicuous but not too long. I realised quickly I would have to put my pen and phone down and use 2 hands. Don't touch wires! I did find sunnies from previous cacher so I donated a snap lock bag to keep them dey and unscratched close to cache.
Managed to lose my sunnies (not name brand, so no huge loss), in unsuccessful hunt for this elusive cache. Found the exposed wires referred to by someone, but couldn't lay my hands on this one. I will be back (if only to search for the sunnies!). LPC remains unsolved, for me!
Haha, amazing hide! Good thing for the clue. Note: there are exposed wires here, that's not where the cache is.
Took quite a lot of searching to find it. My uncle had previously searched at this spot but didn't see it lol tftc
#991 and my cache for the day, while waiting for Wicm Jnr to start his floorball. Last time I thought about looking for this one I wouldn't have found it; this time I went straight to it because of the experience I have gained in the meantime. GZ nice and quiet today. TFTC.
Found it after running round the bays this morning. But not without the help of a fellow cacher who happened to be in the right place at the right time for us! Well hidden!
Had to look twice but I got it, met the coolest couple while on my way back too! Good luck guys have fun!
Okayness and I had some spare time this afternoon after some events in the city so decided to walk from our accommodation to search for some nearby caches. We messed around getting on the wrong side of the fence. Once in the right place was a quick find as we've found ones like this before. TFTC
Down in Wellington for one of the Jr. Cacher's swimming competitions at the nearby pool so decided to grab this cache while waiting for a finals race. Have found a few of these sort of hides now so had a good idea about what to expect. All quiet at GZ and a quick find in the expected location. TFTC.
Yay found it, cool cache. I came from my brothers school prize giving. Took me ages tho. Forgot pen, but used to have a photo of the logbook. TFTC
Wandered around a bit, feeling lost. Then checked the clue. Was a quick find after that. GREAT hide. Signed C&L.
November in Europe, the dark month, neighter autumn nor winter: short days, rain, fog. Everywhere unlucky people.
But now we are in NZ. Early sunrise, mighty green and flowers everywhere. Happy cows and sheeps also. We delight look forward to such lovely challenge. Thank you NZ. Greetings from Germany, from the mountains of Harz. TFTC

Thanks for placing the cache. Almost missed it and then remembered a trick I have seen once before. Quickly in hand.
A weekend back in Wellington, so I was happy to get out and find a few caches while I was there. A very nice hide. Fortunately I visited at the right time of day so I was free to search in peace. TFTC
Spent ages searching and then decided to have a little break. Went to a nearby cafe which seemed to get my brain going again as I then worked out what the clue meant, and so I then went back and found the cache with ease. TFTC
Very sneaky! Found a corner of the paper to squeeze our name onto, but does need to be refreshed. Sorry, wasn't carrying any spare logs with me!
We attempted this one a few months ago but with no luck. After a bit of a google search regarding the clue had a better idea of what to look for. So today easy find. No one around so even easier. Needs new paper as it's all full.
1179 Down in Wellington for work. Workmate heading back to Hamilton so jumped the taxi and caching my way back to central. All quiet at gz tonight.
The Beans decided we could attempt a second birthday cache today before their game at the ASB sports centre. Mid-week caching is very exciting! Thanks for introducing us to this very sneaky type of cache.
Complete darkness when I got to this one, perfect ninjaing time. My GPS had me standing in the middle of nowhere so it was pure luck I got this without the clue. Still got it though. #86
