I had an awesome caching day at otumoetai with thescoobydoos - without any kids for a change! Nr 4 for the day. Easy find with the hint. Great one Tftc
Ha! Just noticed that this one has been archived. However, I'd downloaded cache details to my phone a few weeks back, when we were planning a trip to Tauranga. Unfortunately that trip got postponed, but we managed to make it there today. This cache still showed up in my saved list, so we found it without even realising it was archived! Loved the cache container on this one - very cool!!!! TFTC
Found easily due to excellent hint. Log is full so have supplied photo as my log. I really enjoy the craft and imagination that goes into your caches bridgeaway. Keep up the great work and TFTC.
Out for a bike ride with 11y niece during school holidays - a fun easy find. A lot of rubbish directly around cache area - looks as if people have been partying here! TFTC
Really really clever and isn't Paul cute lol very nice hide and enjoyed the walk got to keep this streak going day 16 now

Today was my first visit to tauranga for work so Knowing I needed a few caches to make up my personal challenge I arrived over here nice and early so as to be able to collect them.
Collected this one towards the end of the day after having visited a client a bit further out at Te Puna. A very pleasant walk in and an opportunity to view the section friends have just purchased to build another house on the other side of the reserve
thanks for the placement

Thankfully spotted something a wee bit different straight away and was able to get this cool cache.
Not off to look for the nearby new one that is probably not there!

A great cache...Neat construction. Thanks for the clue too because our co-ords were out under the trees. Thanks a lot, Bridgeway. (Particularly good finding this after a fruitless search for a new one nearby.)
A nice quick find here and a nicely constructed cache. GPS threw a wobbly under the trees but the hint took me right there. Thanks for a cool cache
That was brilliant. Very pleased with myself for finding that one - was a bit of a struggle to reach but sheer determination won out.
Had to use the hint bc iPhone compasses are trash.. Awesome spot + kiwi ingenuity!
Now this is what I'm talking about! After a couple of fails in Matua I was stoked to come across this one. A random walkway, airy, yet scenic. Clever design and well executed. Easy Favourite. Cheers Bridgeaway.
Thanks for finding this little pinguin. Didn't knew they could climb too. Great work
A great area, will have to bring my son back here one day. Enjoyed my walk around the wetlands and soaked up some sun. Lots of muggles out for a monday morning, but luckily managed to get in to the cache in a clear spot. Great work on the cache and the camo, worthy of a fav point or 3. Very cute.
Well worth the short walk to collect this one. A good hide in a lovely reserve. TFTC
Yay I found another of your cool caches. With frewilys. The slaters were having a family get together so had to disturb their party to get the cache. Thanks bridgeaway.
We found it easily. There were some boys who got suspicious about what we were doing but apart from that all good.We love the little penguin. Thanks for a great cache. We would love to find more of your caches.
First find of the day, a nice area and walk.
Good hide and soon located the container - co-ords very good.
SL Thanks Bridgeaway

A lovely day for a trip to the Bay made all the better by some clever caches in some lovely areas. TFTC
A very well-crafted hide... blends in beautifully. Thought it was time to get the smilie on this one. It's been perched on my list for months. It's location was known to me as 4CJ had dragged me down here last year, so it was great to make a quick find on a calendar day required. I figured that the weekend may not be too conducive to caching. TFTC

After a bit of a flutter and flap around, Paul revealed himself, pretty cool cache hide, many thanks for another fun container.
Thirty six Pine Tree Lane. So many visitors. Neighbours will be wondering. Paul was very receptive and flapped his happy feet.
Thanks Bridgeaway.
Thanks Bridgeaway.
Sufficiently recovered from a five-day school camp...
We've been meaning to catch up with Paul for ages. Today was perfect for visiting. We arrived at 36 Pine Tree Lane and found that Paul was indeed home. We were suitably impressed with his abode and this certainly shows off some great DIY skills. We think Paul should be rewarded for his handiwork. TFTC. Yet another fun cache from this CO.

We had fun looking for the treasure. It was hard to find and I was a bit short to reach it. Geega had to lift me up to get the funny bird. This was find number 50 for me! Thank you
2.15pm - It pays to read the hint properly to get the right position to start counting the trees. SLTFTC
Found Paul quickly, thanks to the hint. He had his photo taken with Doni Bagel, our latest TB companion who was along for the ride today. What fascinating tortured trees. Thanks for bringing us here, a fav from us.
This was our first geocache hunt! Found it thanks to the clue. Well thought out cache! I would recommend this one!
Nice walk and quick find. Day 18 of the August challenge TFTC

4 from 4 so far for the month of geocaching - how long will it continue? Stopped off on the way back from the library with the 2 youngest treasure hunters and their bikes. We first stopped at the end of the boardwalk to check on the "My first cache", a favourite stop off for all the kids....but left disappointed so quickly headed here. Time was against us as we had to get home to put the roast on.....and when you read the logs and the clues and jump to preconceived ideas it makes finding the hide that bit more difficult. Always approach caches with an open mind!!! Great hide - would be sooooo much harder if it wasn't for that little bit of a giveaway.....TFTC
looked at this tree twice, up and down back and forth i went, then bingo something didnt look quite right, had to lift my boy up so he could see what all the fuss was about, gets a fav point from us , tftc
A completely new cache and hopefully less obvious to muggles. New hint now available.
Went out to fix Paul's abode and provide speech therapy, but he was beyond repair after I dropped the whole thing. Duh! I have taken him and his home home. I will have to make another cache from scratch, so it will be a while until I can replace this.
Seems to me that Paul needs speech therapy after the stress of a forced entry and traumatic home invasion. I will need to temporarily disable this listing until I can perform some major surgery on it. Thanks Frewilys for letting me know.
Loved finding this cache just a shame Paul didn't want to talk to us and we could not open the door the way it was intended.Thank you Bridgeaway had never seen this area before.awesome walkways too.

A few days behind on our logging but it seems the Frewilys have already voiced the issues.
Got to GZ and found the first part, found the hide luckily, carefully open the cache, door mechanism might need longer screws or maybe bolts.
It's a shame when other's ruin the fun, some muggles are just fun spoilers!!
Definitely a favourite cache, some pretty clever engineering!!

Visited the cache this evening. I sprayed the cache well and truely to rid it of creepy-crawlies. I have replaced the batteries and dropped off a TB. Should be all good to go.

We loved this interesting cache, although we have to confess to missing the first step ... investigated it on our way back though. Many thanks for a fun and interesting adventure
Enjoyed the late afternoon sun on the walk to GZ. Lots of fun with this one, favourite point from us TFTC.
Thanks Clan Murray for alerting us to the possible need to re-look at this cache. I will try to get to it early this week and see what maintenance may be needed.
Checked on the cache etc today and did a minor bit of maintenance. Some mugglettes (kids) had found it, and had signed the log. The rest seemed OK thanks to Clan Murray's help.
Damn great cache
It had been juggled but we still got there by hunting and abit of luck
Found missing parts and returned them back to rightful place

Thought I would do some caching while kids were training. Bridgeway your caches are really clever this gets a favourite will have to bring kids back after training. I think I may have past Clan Murray on there way out.

Great cache - this is my local area - wonder whether they will continue this path. Thanks for creating another excellent cache - well above my ability - think I am a much better 'finder' TFTC
Noticed this one this morning & decided i needed some humour which is becoming the hallmark of Bridgeaway caches.I was not dissapointed,i wish i had imagination like you.I hope all is going to be ok as a couple of kids on bikes arrived just as i was signing the log & wanted to know what i was doing to the phone. My comments seemed to satisfy them & they tootled off.Thankyou.
We saw this one just after it came out, but couldn't get to it for a couple of hours due to other commitments. We were sure others would have beaten us to it, but decided to go hunting anyway, and were surprised to find a blank log book! This was our 40th find and our first First to Find, so how could we not give it a favourite point?! We enjoyed this creative and interesting cache, thanks Bridgeaway for the effort you put into this. TN, LN, SL with pleasure.
