I am quite sad to archive our very first cache but we do have our reasons.
1) We couldn't find it and it probably isn't worth replacing.
2) The poor bushes that hide it are getting a real beating and we believe geocaches shouldn't be negative effects on nature.
3) It moved around a lot as it had no clear hiding spot.
We will reuse this park very very very soon so hopefully it won't get too lonely.
Good news it that we are re-enabling our one at Torquay Boulevard so why don't you head out and find it

Will check out the area and see if I can find it.
Hopefully won't have to archive it as I hate archiving caches and I already am thinking about culling my one at Torquay Boulevard.

Sorry, previous log by me was a mistake. I clicked the wrong tag - should have been 'didn't find it'
Has it been moved? Searched and searched according to coordinates but still couldn't find it.

This one was a nice and easy cache to find. Left a toy car in there as there aren't many swaps in there at the moment. TFTC!!
Thought this one might be a tricky find, but proved to be quite an easy find, thankfully. At 2.30am that's a good thing right! Lol. Tftc. Another smilie.
Found this guy today after following much the same path as Phetlern I suspect. The GPS took me to a likely spot and I hunted around without success. Then the rain came so I retreated to a bush, re-read some of the logs, checked the hint and then made the find within a few moments. My GPSr had me about 6m adrift of GZ on this occasion.
Thanks defamily!

A quick find, which was really good after our previous hour long DNF nearby.
Sighted trackable " I'm not an addict" (TB22F20). Didn't notice or see "WILIFOGEOCOIN II." (TB2G9BD).
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt defamily.

Came here to drop off "I am not an addict" geocoin. Would have taken it to Melbourne but all caches there are tiny.
The other geocoin is not present.
Thanks

Compass was sending us all over the place. Eventually found it after using the hint. TFTC.

Tftc. Little geokid1 found it before the rest of us got out of the car. Nice easy one. Thanks we love these caches. Took owl note pad and golf ball. Left a bee and a cow.
I went back and checked this cache today. I widened my search area and discovered the cache in the completely wrong place. I moved it back to its rightful place so it will not be archived !!!!!

I checked the cache today and couldn't find it so it is quite likely it's gone . I will check again tomorrow and will enable the listing if it is there however if it isn't I will seriously consider archiving it as it isn't my greatest effort.

Just when I thought it was all clear, Mr Postie man decided to take up my time, galavanting all around GZ. But all good, found in the end. Took- Smiley badge. Left- Grey Army man. T.F.T.C =]
Great cache, found with gruntsalot nd shortstuff. Took nothing, left nothing
Checked cache and everything was fine. All swaps still there and lots of space in log. No trackables present though...
too many kids and mums around for me to be poking around in the bushes at a playground!
Next time I will bring the niece and dog.

Was sure it would be on that thing but after beating around the bush for a bit the cache came to hand. Thnx defamily
At the end of as morning walk, a short fossick amongst the bushes and the prize was soon in hand. TFTC.
A bit of a climb up to this one from the last cache, but great to blow cobwebs away on a walk around the area. TFTC
After a walk up and down the Bell's Beach track seeking caches it was nice to find a low effort cache in a pleasant locale. Wonder whether this one will survive the gardeners. TFTC
A very easy find. Geo junior was happy not to have to walk too far for this one! TFTC.
After a very long search I have finally found it with my sister a very enjoyable search! Not giving any hints.
After an unsuccessful FTF attempt when this cache was first published, I ventured back to try with the new co-ordinates. It was a much more enjoyable experience this time - a quick search, fortunately a bit further from the children's playground, revealed a cache loaded with good swaps.

The ageing bushfire spent a long time at this location a few days ago with suscoe and searched with our torches until daylight and then for some time in daylight and eventually called it a day.
If the defamily had not put up the extra hint this guy would still be unfound as it is so far away from the listed co-ords.
The juc_cachers log tells it as it happened today and then we sat on the seat and had a great caching chat in the lovely warm sunshine.
Well the co-ords are about 60m out according to our two phones and two Garmins. I am afraid for the longevity of this container because the gardeners will move in and cut this grass to half what it is today.
I cannot make sense of a part of the cache notes that tell you to make sure the cache is secure because it can fall easily. Well it was sitting on the ground today!!!
The original hint tells you that it is in some bushes near a small bench. The bench is there and some bushes but the cache is not in them.
I don't know how your co-ords are so far out but don't worry as we all make mistakes and I placed a cache
a few years ago and was 300m out because I had two numbers back to front.
A good sized container with lots of swaps for the kids and the only thing I can say is that it could have been painted Green.
Thanks for the challenge and hope to see many more caches placed by the defamily in the future.

Nice easy find on a trip to Torquay. nobody in the park today making searching an easy task. Sat down and enjoyed the surroundings. TFTC
A beautiful sunny morning to be out caching, and after being unsuccessful in previous attempts, the cache was quickly found this morning. Thanks to the cache owners for the extra information -it really helped! For those attempting this cache, use the clues rather than the coords as they are quite a long way off. TFTC

#346 for us, found by juc_snr today in company with Bushfire.
I'd been away when this one was published and must have missed the notification email, so I never knew it existed until a chance remark at a cacher's get-together earlier in the week. Early logs made me think it must have gone astray before anyone had the chance to find it
After my initial suspicions that this cache had been muggled, I was pleased to see the sims_family make the find and I decided since I was working at home today, I'd use my lunchbreak to track it down. A call from Bushfire last night and we decided on a joint attack.
The hint in the note, followed by this morning's log from Suscoe were needed to guide us today and once we were in the right area, the well-stocked cache was easily found. 2 GPSr's and two smart-phones put GZ at around 60m from the published coordinates. Bushfire has recorded the correct coords and hopefully these will be included in his log.
Thanks for the cache here today defamily and it's always refreshing to see new names pop up in logs and hides around the place.

We are very pleased to say that with the help of the very big hint, we were able to find this one today. So glad it wasn't muggled - there's some really cool swaps in there. The girls had already given up and headed for the playground, and mum was about to leave as well, when something caught her eye, but only just. It was quickly wrapped up in a blanket along with the baby and the girls called back to the car. The completely clean, blank log (never seen one like that before!) was signed and each of the girls made a swap. We tucked in a few extra goodies since it's such a nice big box. After waiting for a group of kids playing ball right in view of gz to head home, we carefully replaced the cache in it's hiding spot. Thanks to defamily for showing us a lovely park, for the fun of finding their first hidden cache, and achieving our first,FTF.
Glad to hear this one hadn't been muggled and congratulations to the Sims_Family !

[For people who want further clues about the cache location read this entry]
The cache is in the bushes behind a small wooden bench. If you enter from Ocean View Cresent the bench is to the left before you run into the playground. The bench has no back. The cache can be seen from the path near this bench.
[if after using these clues you still can't find it, please log a note and I will strive to check it as soon as possible as it is probably not there. Once again I apologise for any inconvenience. Defamily]

A kids playground surrounded by residences is an obvious challenge for a single adult male to go looking around in bushes, but I decided I would brave this one.
I searched in vain, despite the narrowed search area using the clue. I usually struggle with these caches aimed for beginners and with difficulty 1s. Fortunately the trip to Torquay was still worthwhile - there was a difficulty 3,5 nearby (Xian 06) which I retrieved relatively easily by comparison.

Went for a drive to have a look at this one, with neville_devil, feeling a little uncertain after reading of Suscoe's difficulty earlier in the day. We turned up all sorts of things (cans, an empty magnetic key holder, kids drink bottle and a pair of mens underwear - yikes!!!), but unfortunately no cache. We were lucky enough to meet suscoe on their second visit also. We are now confused by the clue, as there seem to be multiples of any items mentioned. I guess we'll have to have a bit more of a think, and come back for another look - hopefully on a drier day, so we can take home less soggy kids.
Thank you for the comments from you. The cache was checked very recently and is still there. The GPS device was not too accurate and the co-ordinates might not be completely correct. I apologise for the difficulty people had finding it. The clue should be helpful for people who are struggling as there is only one of the things that it mentions in the park. The cache is located in the bushes directly behind this thing and can be seen from the path. I will check its location as soon as possible and try to find more accurate co-ordinates and if more people struggle I will change the location
Sorry for any difficulty caused and to waste peoples time.

Well we ventured down in the dark this morning.
A lengthy search for over 60 minutes yielded no cache.
Puzzled we headed home for breaky.
Will try again but the question remains, "where is it?"

It was decided that if no one had logged this guy by very early this morning we would head off before daylight for a look.
We poked and prodded every where but could not discover anything but did locate a pair of sunnies, a few cans and other odds and ends but not what we were looking for.
OK reread the cache notes and picked out a few interesting hints so we then concentrated on them but still came up with zero.
Suscoe made another trip down this afternoon and was joined by the Sims family and they have six pairs of eyes and they gave the area another though going over.
The CN's warn about climbing the trees but the garden area will receive a lot of damage unless it too is ruled out of the search area.
It was placed a few weeks ago according to the notes so maybe it has been found accidentally and is gone, or it could just be we are not good enough to find it.
We have put a watch on it so we will see what happens or the owners reply to our email this morning.
Great views from this location though.

Ignore bottom note about cache not being in place. It should have been deleted when it was published the cache is ready!
Sorry.
Shouldn't have logged it again. Didn't mean to click it. The cache still isn't in place
