There have been a few DNF's lately. My GPS is out of action and I won't be able to replace it accurately. So probably best that I archive this cache and open this spot up for someone else to put a new cache here.
Funny after everyone is logging a DNF not one person has noted that the cache requires maintenance. Could CO check please?
Brought geoTeen out of the house to enjoy a nice bike ride around the lake. Lots of people about this nice winters morning. Had a quick look but with all the recent DNF, we didn't waste too much time here.
Looks like it may have been in the zone of recent floods. We didn't find it this time at any rate.
Found not find anything at the coordinates with 30 kids looking, may have moved? One of the children had found before and said it wasn't there.
Need maintenance. Found it washed up further in so not sure where it was suppose to be. Did not write in log as its sopping wet. Put it back as close as i could to the posted coordinates TFTC
App and Garmin had GZ over there, then here and then there...and back to here. Tried twice, but no lucky.
Wet from condensation and left just thrown in the grass. Placed back appropriately.
A quick and easy find. Owner may want to check it's in the right spot. Co-ordinates were out a little and it was way to easy to spot. Tftc.
Log and box is very wet. Lots of people around in the school holidays so didn't try and dry it out. Pretty spot. TFTC
Great spot and definitely child friendly! However contents of cache are water damaged and it's now a BYOP
That took a bit of stealthy searching. Log is very wet - didn't sign but have photographic proof of find if required. Nice spot. TFTC.
Didn't have much time for caching, but being in the parking lot, we pulled in for this one and a minecraft hide.
Unfortunately the container is holding water with the log outside of the protective ziplock bag, this photo of log taken.
We were only a short time and took our chances against buying a parking ticket. No council inspector to be seen, so dodged one there, thanks scottmcb

FINALLY!!! We've come to this one a few times before but never found it. Today we finally got lucky TFTC
PS: It definitely needs maintenance due to waterlogged contents

Decided to visit Narrabeen and take my bike for a peddle around the loop and why not do some caches along the way. It was a very hard day to cache with muggles everywhere in all shapes and sizes. Just when you thought you had a split second to dive into a cache a muggle would appear from nowhere. Not sure when the best time is to do this loop.
Superb Spot forever to be renamed CRAP SPOT......the container was full to the top with water. Could not sign the log, just took a photo.
Cache needs maintenance.

6/08/15. 11:52 AM. Cache #2780. Streak day #410.
4th of 4 finds this morning.
After finding "The Red Hill Rock" nearby, I had time for one more. I've never logged a DNF here before, but I think this is my 4th attempt here over the past 2 years. I think the reason I haven't logged a DNF before is the other visits might only have been rushed, half-hearted efforts at the end of a few solid hours.
Anyway, I came here today and it still took me ages to narrow it down, despite the accurate coordinates. So glad to clear this one. For Warringah council I now only have 6 left to find - "Blue Hole" and "1948 FORDSON MAJOR" - both likely muggled - and 4 puzzle caches to go! TFTC.

Nice walk around the Lake turns up some good caches. This is indeed a superb spot. TFTC
Found on our stroll along the new trail around the lake. Spotted quickly by Clazza. The log is a bit damp.

Thought I had a pretty good lock on this one but couldn't come up with the good. Wondering if there may have been a bit of cache creep?
My mum told us that Narrabeen lake was a good place to go cycling. We wanted to find the minecraft series and a few others. So we took our bicycles and cycled along the trail finding geocaches.
Geomum and I went to get some ice cream for us while geodad looked for the cache. Once we had finished we all started looking. Then I had to go to the bathroom. So geomum took me to the bathrooms while geodad was looking for the cache again. Once we had came back he still hadn't found the cache yet. So we all started looking again. Then after a while geomum found the cache.
Log was very wet. I tried to dry it out in the sun but it didn't dry up.
TFTC.

Found it while on a pleasant stroll with Geowife and Muggle friends. It is a superb spot and right near a handy carpark. Thanks scottmcblane.
Good one. Log is soaked. Needs a new bag - sorry didn't have one. Dried it as best we could and put in a dry piece of paper. TFTC
Found out in the open so have put where I guessed it should be based on the coordinates.
Looked and looked down low today but still came up empty handed. Having the GPS send us so close to the water was a little strange and had us wondering if recent rains may have washed the cache away. Will be back another time.
Great spot walk here from North Narrabeen all the time.
Haven't been caching for a while but decided to see if anyone had made use of this awesome spot for a cache.

Here to try out boarding for the first time with daughter n boyfriend- lovely sunny day and managed both geocaching & boarding . TFTC
Had a pretty good look, and found some promising, but empty, hidespots. After running into a fairly large spiderweb, decided that the spikey foliage didn't really fit the 1.5 terrain and gave up.
Found with a friend.
Some nicely positioned seats to admire the view from too - worth taking your time hear in good weather.

18:35 Had another look, and was more successful. Took travelbug and rope, left handbag hook. While the location is hidden alright from passersby, do be careful of your own eyes.
Streak day #45 - a reasonably quick cache before heading out to climb at the nearby slabs. Dropped a travel bug. Amazing view from here. We will need to come further this way next time we paddle board.
Easy find probably too easy as lying on topic the foliage so we covered it a little better for the next find
