No need to archive this one because it's still there, a bit damp but still there. Found it on Sunday while driving around this fast growing area.
Needed a cache for Xmas Eve before heading back to AUS tonight. Dropping my injured buddy home so he gave me a clue of where to look. Off I went and there it was! Pity the trees have grown so the view is not quite as perfect as it once was. Couldn't find this one or last nights' find to log as neither appeared on my map. Had to check with bryanandbev to get GC numbers. Not sure why it is archived when it is in good order and there to be found? TFTC
My 2nd of the day, out for a stroll to start a weight loss program. Thanks for this one, a good easy find
I'm out today with Vistra today around Whangaparoa.. We aim to get around 50 caches today. Please excuse the generic log.
Soggy log. Replaced with waterproof bagged log.
Find #1021. Thank you very much for the cache. 28/09/2014 15:50

I'm out today with Cretti caching around the Whangaparoa Peninsula.
Spotted on approach to GZ. Quite an easy find.

You never realise how many little parks there are around Auckland! Until you go caching, then you see many. TFTC. Just a short walk up to this one and voila!
Nice easy cache , thought we had been sprung by muggle only to meet nice young chap who was cache's owner. Well done matey.
Yay! Finally a find. It was an after of way too many DNFs so this was a welcome quick find. Thanks.
Its a while since we wandered through this walkway, but nice to find a cache available. TFTC

Went out and checked up and replaced caches that needed to be. This cache is now ready and waiting for the next keen geocacher!
Day 2 of my trip to Auckland for the Mega event. Today I decided to head north to the Whangaparoa Peninsula to take in some of the views and then to explore the Dairy Flat area to look for some smiles before finishing off the day with some Fish and Chips. The day did not quite start out as intended, so I ended up going straight up the motorway.
A short walk from the previous cache. I followed the rmap to GZ for a quick find.

Was sitting signing the log when a grandma pushing her brand new granddaughter came along and sat beside me.
Thought I was going to be stuck awhile, but was able to replace while we both looked and cooed over the baby. TFTC

My third day's caching in NZ this trip . My wife has been over here looking after her frail mother for some weeks, I thought that both of us needed some TLC. [^]
It's good to be back on Whangaparaoa Peninsular for some unfinished caching. It's also good to see some new caches [^] since Oct 2012.
Another easy find.

Parking was a bit of a problem with this one as I had to park in a side-street.
Cheers for the cache.
Ignored the stairs and opted for the scenic alternative. Quite surprised at the amount of rubbish at GZ. Definitely not on keeping with the rest of the area. TFTC.
up one way -down the other-qwik find-can't believe the amount of rubbish around here-tftc
Went out on a run with my son to place a couple of his new his caches and find a few myself. Thsi is one of my sons so I needed to find it! The rubbish around here is terrible but the cache is a great hide!
Took a wee drive up to Gulf Harbour to pick up the recent caches that have been published. Took the scenic alternative and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
I completed both options, having not realised only the second option would get me to the cache! A nice easy find. Thanks!
p.s. FWIW I counted 53 steps for the first option

We were up at Silverdale so it made sense to go for this new cache. Not a great deal of parking nearby but once at GZ it was a quick find. Retrieving the log from these small mint tins is always a struggle without tearing the paper but managed it without a problem today. This cache was our 500th continuous daily find which is a relief because it not an easy task especially when it was only a personal challenge. [:0] TFTC.
Was being driven home from a celebration dinner and saw this one had popped up. Was a very quick find despite the darkness as i knew the spot well after resting here a few times on long staggers home. Not often I get a FTF in NZ so pleased to add another to the short list. TFTC
