Time for this one to go and free up the are for others to hide a cache. The area is changing dramatically. I will be unable to maintain it soon.
Thank you to all those who have visited it in the past.

I've never been out this way, but we swung by to visit a friend we haven't seen in years, and discovered this lovely little area! I'd originally planned to visit the multi across the road, but was completely muggled out by a crazy busy market, so instead we wandered across the road to this one.
GPS pointed me to an obvious location, but after checking over, under and in, we were coming up empty handed. I looked at something a little less obvious nearby and quickly spotted a well-camo'd (though slightly worn looking) cache container! We quickly signed and returned, as there was stacks and stacks of muggles about. Thanks for bringing us out this way, and can't wait to return to find more. TFTC!

The historic buildings around here make you feel like you have stepped back in time and work well with the lovely bush land around.

This cache was about 12m away from where my gps had me and a bit of circling and wandering and I soon found this nicely constructed cache

Thanks for the cache

This geocache is currently disabled for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis in compliance with current restrictions on non-essential travel.
For the welfare of all I feel there is no choice in the matter as the virus is transmitted by surface contact and geocaching by nature, is a game that involves touching.

Out to find a few caches for my last caching day of the year. I chose this area as I have found a few here previously and had still plenty more to target. I also decided to try and make it to the intervening days event in Melton later in the day. It was a hot day with lots of dust and flies but a satisfying total of 49 caches in all to clock over my 2000th find for the calendar year. I started to realise why the main road in had been so busy as despite maps saying otherwise there seemed to be only one road in and out of this estate. Took me a while here to spot the nice camo job but got there in the end. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache 6Hinemoa2.

27-Nov-19
Caching in the area we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.

We enjoyed this series as some finds took longer than others, it certainly on our toes. An excellent hide, cache and contents were in good condition.

Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Yet another we didn't find today.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A nice series, but wow it was a busy road!

Woz needed some caches to get his souvenirs for the current GC.com promo (Mystery at the Museum), so we thought we would check out this trail and others in this area.

Not sure what happened to us, but we had a fair few DNFs - neither of us really had our caching mojo on, so maybe we will find it easier to find them next time we are in the area.

A few days in Victoria to lift the mood and catch up with special friends....and what a great break it was. Let's just say there was a little bit of beta testing going on (wherigo cartridges), future plans hatched, yummy meals consumed, laughter shared, stories told and some chilled time woven in also. Events, a tree planting CITO, locating a few caches and lots of driving were all part of the fun.

Thanks to 6Hinemoa2! for placing this cache for our enjoyment [^]

We took a detour to the Avalon Airshow to fill in a calendar space and work towards our next milestone. We had some time to kill before the fireworks tonight. It was very hot but we enjoyed the air con as we got in and out of the car.
Thanks for this well camouflaged cache.

Had looked for this cache previously with Dutch frangipani but the local security guard moved us on.

No security guard in sight today but it took quite some time to spot something not quite right. A fave of course. Thanks 6hinemoa2

It took a little while to locate this cache. We identified GZ but when w didn't find the cache, we widened the search area, eventually finding this well presented cache about 9m from the published coordinates. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for the cache.

27-May-18
Sneaky hide. Great day out caching!

19-May-18
I learned quite a bit about the Myer houses from the cache notes. I found them interesting and am pleased they seem to have been protected. It would be nice to have them done up and open to the public. My parents used to talk about the housing shortage after WW2.
The cache took a while to find and was cleverly camouflaged to blend in with its environment.

20-Apr-18
Headed out here to collect a smilie for calendar day and streaks. A lovely misty morning.
This one took longer to find than expected. Searching for all options I just happened to look in the right direction and bingo!
Thanks 6Hinemoa2 for the crafty cache.

12:12, 7 February 2018. #1221.

I know I'm going to regret this later, but after picking up my back up cache when I overshot this one because I needed a cache to tick a date off my calendar, I came back and hunted this one. After a few minutes exploring what looked like logical spots, but not quite where my iPhone was pointing, I followed the phone's lead and quickly found the cache.

The cache is in good condition.

TNLNSL. TFTC 6Hinemoa2.

Off I go to Melbourne! Down from Canberra for a caching trip around the Mega! Big GrinCoolBig Grin

On the geo itinerary for today the targets were the "Three..." series, the Eynesbury series, the Legends series and whatever randoms which were along the way.

Checked out a couple of obvious spots first before spying the camo!

Thanks for the hide 6Hinemoa2 Smile

Nice day for a geocache. Have just recently gotten back into geocaching after a long break thanks for tbe cache

02-Sep-17
I've lived in Victoria all my life and have never, ever been down this way. Unfortunately, the highways and freeways now detract drivers from stopping at little towns and places like this. We had set our sights on getting a few of the caches around this area but we weren't able to stay for too long due to a family need.

The actual hunt and find for this one took a while and it was geo-daughter who discovered the find, which was a great feat considering the fantastic camo.

Thank you for bringing us down this way - we are looking forward to a return trip at some stage.

13-Jun-17
I found it before Hedgerow this time, spent a long time looking for this one. Best camo I have seen for a long time. Sl tftc

01-Jun-17
No luck with this one. Spent some time scouring the area to no avail. TFTC.

18-May-17
With a free day, we headed north with the Exford Trios Series and Eynesbury in sight. It was great to see a variety of well maintained hides and some bigger containers. Many thanks to the owners for their efforts in placing and maintaining the caches.

We had a decent search here but couldn't come up with the goods.

Hi there 6Hinemoa2.

We found your cache **"Eynesbury Myer Houses"** at 1:11:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 16220).

We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS.

On our trek we found a variety of wonderful containers - and ended up finding 20 caches with 0 DNF's. We awarded almost every cache in the run with a favourite point for the ingenuity and effort that has gone in to the placement of each one.

Thanks for placing this cache, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

I was out west with Biggles Bear today with the aim of starting at Cobbledick Ford and ending up with four of the legends caches. However, we did start off with a few along the way before our chosen start point. We parked at the delapidated old house and searched for a couple of minutes for the cache before it was found.

It was only a day later when googling where the name Eynesbury came from, that I learned what a Myer house was. (We should have read the cache page while there - it would have given a lot more meaning to the house and we would have paid more attention to it).

My thanks to 6Hinemoa2 for the cache.

05-Mar-17
While staying in Keilor with a friend for a couple of days we decided to get out of the high traffic areas to go caching. We noticed there was a nice selection of caches out this way and returned here to do more after our time here yesterday. Lots of creative hides and thanks to 6Hinemoa2 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area. Big GrinBig Grin Fav point alloc.

25-Feb-17
This is our second time here with the first time in a different season and way overgrown with clover Finding the location today (eventually, as the GPS kept sending us in circles), it was clear that last time it was probably hidden. Looking at past logs, we followed another's lead by stepping back a moment and having a look around......that's all it took, and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC

Well done cache. I think it's not in the right place anymore as I only found it by tripping over it. TFTC this one took a while to find.

We were all looking in the typical geospots, when we heard Mrs Plow exclaim Found it! Nice Camo 6Hinemoa2. We know by now that your hides are always good! TFTC. We are enjoying our walk around this interesting town. Part very old, part very new. The old buildings are gorgeous!

21-Nov-16
No find for me here today.

01-Nov-16
After hanging around home for a couple of days I decided to grab the geopups and pop out somewhere close while it wasn't so windy. This one took a little longer to find as the cache was not where I expected it to be at all. When I finally paced around and went to GZ according to my GPSr I had the aha moment. TNLN. TFTC 6Hinemoa2, another fave point coming your way.

This part of our geo-map is peppered with unopened green boxes and question marks, today we had an opportunity to convert some of the icons to smiley tokens.
We thought we were headed for failure here, looked everywhere, even fiddled with things we probably shouldn't have! Just about to make a PAF call and the cache just popped up from nowhere. Great cammo deserving of a fav. point.
Glittery nail polish had burst in the cache, luckily we had a fresh bag to put the log in.

Satellites today had our GZ 8m ESE of where we found the cache.

Our thanks to 6Hinemoa2 for placing this cache.

Decided to check out Eynesbury. Found the homestead and area amazing, and of course managed to pick up a number of caches along the way. Enjoyed a wide variety of great caches. A quick grab. TFTC

24-Sep-16
A quick and easy drive by while we were in the area. We had no luck with this one on a previous night search, as we were moved along by an officious security guard. Today in the sunshine we had it in the bag in no time at all, and were quickly on our way in case the private Mr Plod was doing weekend duty. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

Out for the day to conquer Eynesbury, with DreamyDragon, Flaggy's, Redink & Tikitere. Wandered around in the sour grass for a bit, before finding it quite a way away from where the gps wanted us to be. They should make these houses into shops or cafes or something. Tftc.

30-Jul-16
Arrived at GZ with Dutch Frangipani when a security guard came up and told us to move on. Guess we will have to try some other time.

30-Jul-16
sorceysal and I pulled up to this one today however, a very diligent security guard moved us on. Will try again another day.

24-Jul-16
Ran out of time looking for this one and had to stop after 15 minutes of looking to get the geokidlets home. Not sure if the cache was covered by a fair bit of clover growing in the area?? We'll be back another day.

Imagine being able to buy a house from Myer's in the city or one of the shopping centres! At least it would be good quality. These have certainly stood the test of time and so has your cache! It was our second attempt at this one and our GPS took us to 3 different spots so it was quite surprising we actually found this well camouflaged cache! TFTC
