Today I went back out to the George King Memorial Drive to sign off a few more of the D/T grid plus any others that were close by.Back to the other caches. Luckily I'm not that vertically challenged.Cheers for the cache, Hall-way.
Visiting beautiful Dunedin and its surrounds for the mega. Many city and country roads driven to search for caches and appreciate the many COs placing them for us to find.
Traveling around South Island NZ over the next 2 weeks. Arrived at GZ. Found cache and signed log. TFTC
travelling to Dunedin for the Geo Toroa Mega with Squirrel Nutcase. After a couple of changes to our air flights we arrived approx 4 hours late.we had solved so many puzzles before coming and a plan had been hatched as to road routes we would take.We decided to log caches with a shortened version of our cache names just to help with saving log space and time.so FANGS was to be our logging name for this trip.great to see most caches have been checked prior to our visit.bit of a reach to collect this cache.TFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap) Were here for Geo Toroa (Dunedin Mega). Between flight cancellations and re-routing, things could only get better, right? But wait, theres more! Somewhere on our caching escapades, I dropped my wallet (Tuesday) Its still at large, so if anyone finds itOne of us usually drives, the other is the retriever. That works for us. Weve either logged caches with our separate handles, or weve used FANGS to sign the logbook. Using the latter handle is more for mental health and well being. Its tiring having to write 15 + characters on each logbookAfter yesterdays wallet debacle, I had to shoot into the bank for card replacements or risk being penniless and homeless for the next few days. The bank was amazing, and they had me fixed up and out the door in good time. It was still early enough to put a plane back togetherPassing by, so why not! Gap had the logbook out while I attended to one of many work messages Thanks Hall-way. TFTC.
Have signed this one before finding the two caches. Helps being a tall bugger. Turn the page over. TFTC
Couldn't find this in 2018 but After severL minutes today finally located log now full
After some walking around in circles on a quiet Sunday evening, I am victorious. Log is getting pretty full.
Spent quite a while searching but no luck today. Will have to try another time - will bring geohubby and a step next time
A few days away caching with Nosynel. NN is taller so she found this one. Thanks, Hall-way#9884
Thanks for hiding this cache Hall-way I appreciate it. ?? This may be the final cache of the day. The weather ?? turned fowl at the end of the day. We've had a great day out.
With daddypig in town to be my taxi driver I decided it was time to find some more geocaches. It was a good thing I brought him along or a wouldn't have found this one. TFTC
Out having a gc adventure. Mr topping up with fuel while I walked down. Was to tricky for me had hand on it twice and didn't realise. Mr C cMe and said 'got it', wow so clever. Thanks for the cache Hall-way.

Pretty much DNF'd it but Mrs Geckoh convinced Mr Geckoh to have another look, sure enough... Log is full but found a spot to overwrite...

My wery handy no.1 gave me a boost to find this cache. Signed the log page and whilst I handed it back to him to put cache away, he found another cache under it in same hide. Signers kizzima and HappyHeptonstalls seem to given approximate timelines to when the two micros have been discovered first/last entries. Cache gets plenty of attention from noobs but you will be unlikely to find any evidence the geo tour noob who logged their 100 caches from the car window wouldn't have signed log. They claimed finds on several missing caches across Dunnas. *Labyrinth **15pt** trad **240pt***. TFTC
Cache 1151 This one took me a good 10 mins to find, with the hint so was looking in all the obvious places (obviously wrong places) I was almost to challenged to find this one, almost needed a TOTT that I don’t have in my car lol but I “stretched” my limits to get the smiley T4TC
Needing a cache for the day, my targeted cache was a DNF. This was a easy 2nd option. Quickly found.
Thanks for the cache, Hall-way

I had some time to fill in before my flight back home this morning. I filled this up by going for a walk along the Silver Stream and exploring a few areas of Mosgiel I haven't visited before. No worries here.

This visit to was able to find this one. A sneaky hide and an interesting spot. TFTH
The container had been put back not attached to the plate and fallen in the hole. My son on my shoulders managed to get it. We put it back the right way. The geocache label doesn’t stick to the plate anymore and found it in the bush near by. We put it under the plate to hopefully stop it blowing away
Finally found it after about ten minutes of thorough searching. Couldn't see as it wasn't in its box anymore. Had to climb on top of my bike to even see it. Might want to check. Tftc
Given a few of the logs here I wasn't quite sure what to expect or what I needed to be looking for.
Thankfully, a quiet Sunday afternoon was a good time to read up on all the things the Mosgiel environs has to offer. Whilst reading the posters I commenced a finger-tip search which paid dividends quite early on as I found something a little out of place which demanded further investigation.
A subtle hide for sure.
Thanks Hall-way

Nope. Might have to come back in the daylight for this one. Nice looking information booth, though. Well done Rotary!
Funny anecdote: nearby is a rock with an information plaque, which plaque talks about the beautification and replanting of the surrounding area. Ironically, the small font size on the plaque forces you to trample over part of said beautification in order to be able to read about it. This definitely is my style of humour.

Easy find, magnet wasn't really working, thought washer was better used as a weight.
