Clean up - decided I'm to busy to keep on top of all the caches so are leaving the good ones.. Might get around to making some clever ones soon.
the description led me straight to cache but had to do a bit of stretching to get my hand on it. TFTC.
Last of the morning and an easy find with no muggles present. TFTC

Out geocaching with TuisReturn while attending the MEGA event.
Short search soon had the cache located - co-ords wanted us in a different location to begin with.

Went out and checked up and replaced caches that needed to be. This cache is now ready and waiting for the next keen geocacher!
New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 15, In Auckland Region, Northshore and Shakesphere Park. After the council workers finished there smoko over the road I gout and had a look here. I soon worked out what the cache meant and extracted this cache. Thanks.

Unfortunately we needed the GPS for this one as we were looking completely in the wrong place. Very happy to have found it.

GPSr was pointing into and area that was fenced off. I though may be, by the distance' it could possibly be round the other side. When I got around there it was now point back the other way but still seem to be inside the fence.
Was about to give up (end of a long day) but thankfully instead of head straight back to caching wagon, I wondered along the front.
When I got to within 3m of GZ GPSr started pointing the right direction. Had a quick poke around finding the cache, but before retrieving I noticed a man in one of the houses overlooking, he had come out on his deck and was watching me. I sat on the wall and just looked up the street hoping he would think I was waiting for someone, and would come and 'ask me to leave', as the signs seemed to indicate could happen.
He must have decided I was worth worrying about, as he eventually went back inside.
Quickly side log and beetled off. TFTC

11898... Nice facilities. The concrete was missing... but luckily, the cache wasn't, many thanks.
My first day's caching in NZ this trip . My wife has been over here looking after her frail mother for some weeks, I thought that both of us needed some TLC. [^]
It's good to be back on Whangaparaoa Peninsular for some unfinished caching. It's also good to see some new caches [^] since Oct 2012.
Had a bit of trouble, as the hide was covered in Maple Leaves.

We had a late Saturday afternoon drive to Gulf Harbour to find our cache for the day. Pulled up beside GZ and spotted the likely hiding spot from the car. Quick find but had to be careful not to be observed by the muggles across the road sitting in their lounge watching TV. TFTC.
Nice recreational facilities (for locals only?). Took a wee bit longer to locate as GPS was having a senior moment so had to resort to the iPhone. TFTC.
The previous cacher had put the cache a bit further out of sight which made it fiddly to extract it from the hidey hole.
Cheers for the cache.
Back up this way after there were problems with a nearby customer so couldn't resist a cache or two

No problems with the find but on wandering around GZ looking at the various facilities we noticed the playground is "Private" and for residents use only. Never seen that before, sure looks like a council playground to us. TFTC
FTF!
Ah Whangaparaoa and Gulf Harbour, we meet again!
Saw the notifications of the four new caches in the early evening but I had a meeting which I had to attend. Saw none had been found when my meeting finished a bit after 10pm so figured I'd venture my way up north and have a crack. I figured by the time I got there and back it would already tick over to the next day allowing me to make a find for the day for the next day as well.
Anyway, made my way to GZ and quickly located the cache thanks to the hint. Cracked open the tin and yes, a blank log revealed itself!
Thanks!
