Is anyone else wanting to place a cache here? If not, i'll get over there sometime....
I've driven past this area many times and have had the intention to stop in to try for this one, but there has always been someone loitering near the memorial.
Today however, with the kids with me, I was able to give it my attention today. No-one nearby either which was even better.
The clever ones (the kids) got to work at GZ and they soon had some numbers which looked pretty good. Before searching though the young ones went and played while the adults sat and took in the splendour of the gardens and surrounds. A big tick to those custodians of the park...it is fantastic!
The pursuit of the cache was a rather quick one, and we soon located the hide in good condition.
SL at 3.30pm.
Too good a chance to pass by today. A nice spot for a stopover. TFTC Bingley3683.

Found at night, while we were passing through to Corowa. Had grab the clue needed on a previous passing, so just had to make the find at GZ. It was very wet under foot, after alot of rain this week. It only a short search to find the container which was all lovely and dry. Was able to sign log, just as it was beginning to rain again.
Thanks Bingley3683 for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

Although there were sporting activities taking place nearby, the area around WP1 was devoid of muggles. That enabled us to collect the data without any problems. From there it was a short walk where we made a quick find. The garden bed was very wet following the recent rains, but the inside of the container was completely dry and the contents were in excellent condition. Thanks Bingley3683 for an enjoyable multi in a lovely little town.

After a day supervising my learner-driver son while the two other members of the family enjoyed sampling local wines we were heading to the Golf Club for dinner with friends and had half an hour to fill in.
My family were happy to stop here and let me search for this cache (as long as I didn't drag them all out of the warm car). My younger son helped me to collect the required information and then returned to the car, leaving me to search for the cache alone. With the help of my torch I was able to find the cache and sign the log before it was time for dinner.
Thanks Bingley3683 for highlighting this memorial.

After having some nourishment at the local bakery, we thought we would get a couple of caches before leaving town. Mrs. Lost Wanderer found WP1 and got the required information and then off to the final. After a case of cache blindness, reinforcements were called in, in the form of MR. Lost Wanderer and Little Miss M. They made the find after a quick search. Thanks for the cache Bingley.
Had to double check Mr 10's counting and working out but after that, we found GZ.

Myself and my boys headed out for a camping / caching weekend up along the border. Heading out Friday night we set up camp right on the Murray River at Richardsons Bend campground. A great place to camp. The next day we headed to Albury and I did some yakking there while the boys watched from the shore. We then headed west, stopping at Lake Mulwala, where we unloaded the yak and all three of us piled on and spent a great couple of hours on the water. Moving on to one of my old stomping grounds, Cobram, where we spent the afternoon swimming and relaxing, some dinner then we found a great camping spot on the Murray at Smither's Beach (between Cobram and Tocumwal). The next day we turned south for home via Shepparton and Nagambie. Plenty of caches found and some awesome sites visited.
After a good nights sleep we were up early and heading a little south to grab a few caches before heading into Albury. With Albury done and dusted for now we headed west and stopped here for this cache. we managed to mess the calcs up on several occasions so evetually we settled and took out time. Aha- finally the coords and we were at 'GZ'. An awesome park and the boys had a great time playing in the playground. Thanks Bingley3683.

Nice multi at a spot that's close to our hearts. The in laws live in Howlong and Father in law used to be President of the local RSL so we've been to a few Anzac Day services up here. This is my first time back here since we started caching and this is our first find in NSW, yay! The coordinates were spot on
Found a water damaged geocaching explanation note, but no log book or container etc. Possibly vandalised but needs maintenance nonetheless.
Dropped in here on our way home from 'Party At The Wetlands' event. Nice little multi to finish the day. Logbook quite damp, managed to sign. TFTC Bingley3683
Into Howlong for lunch at the Bakery, but first another multi. Lovely little park, interesting monument, toilets, what more can you ask. Cache was nicely concealed, but contents a bit damp. SL TFTC Bingley3683
Last cache for the day after our day of caching. After working out the co ordinates we had a bit search before we found it. Lucky it wasn't too busy with muggles.
Good multi that we enjoyed doing and had no trouble finding the cache, with 5 snails clinging to one side of it, but it was somewhat wet inside - drained out the small amount of water and although the logbook was slightly damp it was ok to sign and placed back in its zip lock bag securely - outside of this bag was wet too so tried to dry as best we could. Very nice Memorial in such a lovely setting.
A muggle who was driving a large waste disposal truck parked just as we signed the log and he came over to have morning tea with another muggle who was just stopping on the other side of the road. Geohubby chatted to the muggle whilst geowife replaced the cache in its good hiding spot.
TFTC Bingley and for the challenge of doing this and replacing it without it being seen!

Enjoyed work out for next GZ - short search until spotted and signed the log. Thanks Bingley3683
Cache was quickly found. Water is getting into the container although log is dry. TFTC
Was visiting my Granny in Howlong and I thought I would get some caches around the area. This was the first multi that I have attempted and I came out victorious We drove down to the memorial got the information we needed an then went into the car to do the math as it was sooo hot outside. My mum did all of the math and then the hunt was on. We started poking around and while I ended up empty handed my mum found the cache. The container was completely covered in snails which we poked off. We signed the logbook and we were on our way. TFTC Bingley3683!
Tried for this one about 6 months ago with no luck! Reworked the info and now had an easy find. SL TFTC
I had a long weekend planned to visit the Victorian border region for a bit of caching. I had a great time and managed to get to many caches over the time I was away. Things got a bit hot which slowed me down, but I was happy to see so many great places and hides. People were arriving in the park for something, but I was able to examine the memorial and calculate GZ without any problems. Thanks.

3549.Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 0900 on our way to an event in Shepparton. After a DNF on the 09/06/2014 we had to remove this cache hide from our stats. So after leaving The Rock early we made the stop to make our claim. SL Tnx Bingley3683
Didn't find it 09/06/2014
We had the correct information but were unable to find the container a DNF for baby&Mrs gopher. CO will check very soon

We have come into Howlong today to visit my parents who are glamping up the road. As this is the only cache left in the town we don't have we decided we had to get the smilie. With the numbers quickly found and GZ calculated we wandered over and quickly located the container. No muggles to bother us today and we were out of there again in no time.

It was starting to get dark by now and were surprised how many people were around. We headed to the memorial to get the information we needed. It is great how towns remember their fallen. It was a short walk to GZ and under torch light the cache was discovered. The log was signed and we headed to the warmth of the car. It was getting quite chilly by now. TFTC.

Found with Joelisa. GPSr had us wandering around for a bit. Then geoson became a hero when he called out "Here it is". TFTC.
Calculated the coords quickly then it was off to GZ. Walking around in circles with 3InOne for a while before they made the find. TFTC.
Went back today and recalculated - have they added a WW1 name? Formulae have been revised.....

Having a bit of a relaxing day around Howlong picking up a few caches here and there.
Gz coords were a little different from where I had found the cache but the help from past logs put me in the right direction.
Kids carnival in town right next to Gz , but thankful it was still many hours away until the rides fire up.
A nice little place to sit and relax, plenty of green grass to sit or lay under the shade of a large tree
TNLN, TFTC. Cheers.

Found on a great caching day with Roostaman. Glad to be back caching in the area, if only for a few weeks while on holidays visiting family in Tocumwal. We made finds in the Letterbox and HSS series, and many other caches scattered around on our travels, including many challenge caches.

Coords out on this one, but, reading back through some logs, we were able to find it. TFTC.

# 7011 Found with Blacklegend on a great trek around the area finding some of the local caches. Not many muggles around here today, and nice warm weather as well. TN LN SL.
Thanks for the cache Bingley3683,

Stopped for an icecream & play at the playground. Havent done many multis & thought we'd attempt while geokids were occupied. Worked out the coords & found the cache within a few metres of where we were pointed. Tftc #98
Our 100th find and it nearly had us stumped. Great afternoon caching with Wackyweedos. GPS had us in the gutter but once we moved to the quieter side we soon had it in hand. Will move the Vietnam TB to Albury. TFTC!
Checked 3 times and gps has us in the middle of someone's yard, I wasn't going to snoop in there. Could the memorial have been updated ?
It seems Lis is not good at these multis. If she can't get the co-ordinates, how am I to know where to even start?! I even sniffed around every where anyway but no luck. Lis said the co-ords she came up with had us 100m across the road but I knew that could not be right. Never mind. Great walks today. TFTCs.

GPS insisted I remember something out in the gutter, but geosense dictated otherwise. Within a short time the cache was in hand signed and a Vietman TB left here TFTC Bingley
Last cache for the day and I'm glad they moved the memorial to a more user friendly place in the town with more room for services. The gps had us all over the place and quite a distance from where we found the cache only with help from the hint. TFTC Bingley.
Found this one a quiet Sunday morning. The GPS was all over the place, however located the cache.

A very wet and miserable day - so why not get out into the fresh air and find some caches in NSW! . Having spent the morning shopping for our caravan in Lavington/Thurgoona it was time to head for some caches in the Riverina area. This was first on the list. We found the neat and tidy monument, did our sums and found the cache. Amazingly we are only 2nd TF - gotta love that! Only feathered friends joined us in the rain today - ibis, galahs & wattlebirds to name a few. #1534 SL at 1.30pm Took: remembrance TB Left: 4 corners GC and NZ keyring. TFTC Bingley and helping us discover another gem in Howlong.
