-------
###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Find # 6920
Found with sharkiefan.
The days plans was to head around the newer Mt Disappointment caches to help sharkiefan to get some more finds to help with the Hidden Creatures Souvenirs, Oh and also to grab a few extras that cropped up on the map.
From a Nice sunny start we headed into fog while at the northern point where we had an interesting drive up to and awesome view at "Crossing Point"
Around the forest tracks the fog disappeared and the sun was out once again.
But nearing the end of the 60 odd finds, of the Trail Caches, we were back into typical late arvo winter chill and back into more fog before ending the day back in Broadford
After grabbing a burger from the take away shop. This was our last grab for the day. Another great caching day.

The lovely Dennisc52 had come to Shepparton for a visit
Sadly, he'd found a tree branch with his caravan on the way over
In my attempts to keep Rex on the site where we live, I needed a specific kind of fence according to the park owners and hence this day trip to Melbourne's outer suburbs in order to pick up some fencing.
Since Dennisc52 drove, I didn;t get much say in what caches we found however 6 finds and only 1 DNF wasn't a bad effort considering Dennisc52 doesn't cache much at all
Thanks for the fun day out mate and for the fence too! [:X]
As I am about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby

Out for a drive in this area, we tried to get close to GZ as I couldn’t walk too far.
Big mistake. That failed.
Tried another approach, still unsuccessful.
Tried the conventional approach, success at last
End of the TRIAL as well as the trail.

Not quite the end for me, 1 to go still, but literally this one is located at the end. Very dry around Gz, and looks like some undesirables make use of the area regularly with all the rubbish they’ve left behind.
Cache located easily and signed.
TFTC, Cheers.

Spending the week near Strath Creek with family and this cache was near our rendez-vous picnic spot on the first day. We found we were on the wrong side of a dry creek bed, but after a bit of scrambling, one of the TheGees soon found it. We decided not to go on to find the cache further along the path, but to come back another day. TFTC
Nice little wander to the GZ and quickly located the cache. Nice and quiet. Thanks

Found by Team Ladava after doing a little maintenance on our TB Motel on the highway.
Well I made hard work of this one and covered more miles than Captain Cook.
Parked in some shade near where the navigator took me. Hmmm, no access to the creek from here so walked the wrong way. Still no access. Back to the bridge and saw the walking track. Almost broke my neck scrambling down on rocks covered with slippery pine needles. (At 70, I am too old for that sort of terrain.) Followed the main track which took me past the cache on the wrong side of the creek. Back to the bridge to follow the less used track to gz. Leaked some claret when I staked my arm on a stick. Finally found the cache which had a few mm of water in it but thankfully the newish plastic back remained sealed and watertight. Back to the car. ‘Where are my glasses?’ Drove to a suitable parking area to access the walking track which negated the need to risk life and limb. (Pity parking coordinates were not included in the cache notes.) Found my glasses which had fallen out of my shirt pocket. Problem, I had apparently stood on them as the case was damaged and would not close. Small mercy, it was a metal case so the glasses were not broken.
Quite an adventure for one smiley.

After attending the MEGA event on the weekend, Snickersallan, RoddyC and I continued on our drive around the area today to find a few caches we missed over the weekend.
While Mr RoddyC stayed with the car, the girls went in search of the two caches along this pathway. Got close to this one then realised we had to cross the creek. Managed to find the crossing and then made our way to GZ.
This one was found easily, SL then returned cache to its hide.
Now back to the car to cool off.

Despite the 34 degree heat it was a reasonable walk along the pathway. A nice cool car was waiting at the end.

MEGA ROAD TRIP - Alexandra Mega 2017 that is. : Day 2: We finally get there. [8)]
After spending the night at Heathcote Mrs. Aussie M&M and I were up early for the drive to Alexandra. After caching our way to Broadford we met up with Bushfire and 6Hinemoa2. Too many names now to put in the logs so we simply used the team name GOTHS to save some space. Time to now cache our way to our farmstay accomodation near Alexandra.
There was light rain and wet, wet long grass and it wasn't long before I was soaked through. The others weren't fairing much better.[xx(][xx(]
We were on a trail. Buy not the right trail and nor at the end. After all the rain lately the rather inaccurately named dry creek flowed between us and GZ. Finding a very treacherous way down, then across and up the other side we started to search around GZ. Strangely enough whilst searching in totally the wrong spot I was able to see the container. So after extracting myself from where it wasn't, I proceeded to make my way to where it was. The log was like the rest of us, a little soggy but we made a mark. Now to get back across that not so dry creek. [B)]

A quick find on the way through.
Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east and back from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake! [^]

The day has arrived to head off to the 2017 Mega, up early and hit the road towards Bacchus Marsh to join up my very good caching mate 2Hinemoa6 and off towards Alexandra but with a few stops along just to break the journey as you do.
Thursday was a wet miserable day with light rain and then fog as we climbed higher.
We meet another two of our caching team here being Aussie M & M and Brisal5 both from SA. From now on we logged as GOTHS +2 as we all live in the hills.
Stopped at this cache as it was on our list, soon located, log signed so on to the next. We do carry pens that write on wet logs.
With hundreds of caches to log most will be cut and paste but I do thank all the owners for their thought and effort that has gone into placing a huge variety of hides.

Hi there MUZZDAWG11.
We found your cache **"End of the Trail..."** at 12:12:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 18392).
We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We found 2 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** .
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Took a while but I managed to find it in the end. I couldn't physically sign the log book as it is very wet, but left my calling card. I cleaned it up as best I could and replaced some soggy swag and took some papers and rubbish, but this cache really needs some maintenance. Otherwise nice spot.
No luck for Suscoe today, the area is overgrown with that sticky trailing weed.
Had a bit of a look in the likely spots but nothing for us today.

Found whilst on a road trip from Adelaide to Heathcote. Today's task was to complete the Dad's Mt. Disappointment Driving Lessons power trail, reach my 1000th caching milestone with friends and round off the day by attending a dinner event where we were staying. It was an early start but we found heaps of caches, ate wholesome and delicious food, drank some amazing wine, engaged in scintillating conversations - there was plenty of laughter and lots of fun!! PLEASE NOTE: given the size of our group and our time constraints, in some logs we just put our caching initials (eg. GL).

Another long weekend....another trip away..this time 1/2 of our team headed to Albury for a weekend of caching with Rapidlywild and Coruze. We collected a few caches along the way down and also around Albury on Friday night. An early start was in order on Saturday and we headed south to Mt Disappointment for the target trail and anything else along the way which happened to come up on the radar.
The trip was not without its mishaps, Rapidlywild left some bark behind when she went down a couple of times and our entry sprained her ankle, again. But all in all, a great weekend was had. Lots of caches collected, not much sleep was had, and lovely weather.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the placements and giving us a reason to come and check out another area of this country of ours.
Thanks to Rapidlywild and Coruze for another enjoyable weekend.

A long weekend, what does that mean? Well GEOCACHING of course
Plans were in place to get out this long weekend with one party of the FurfacesLL and head towards Albury. We had organised a weekend of caching with Coruze which included puzzle collections (Albury/Wodonga) and power trail targeting (Mt Disappointment) and what ever little town we can invade along the way.
Alot happened this weekend, lots of caches, lots of laughter, many km's, long days and long nights. We all walked away battered and bruised after this weekend but it was worth it and would do it again in a heart beat lol
We had finished the powertrail on Mt Disappointment, checked into the Motel in Broadford, we were all battered and bruised but we decided to kick on for a little longer. We went and had some dinner and continued our night a little more. Nice easy find here.

I had the day off so with the good weather I decided to plan a road trip out to find Melbourne's First cache and pick up as many others as I could along the way.
After making the historical find I headed into Broadford on my way back to look for the range of caches hidden there as well. This one took me a bit longer than it probably should have as I wasn't sure if the mentioned tree was bushy or just dead now. Eventually I made the find, thanks for the cache Muzzdawg11.

The log is very wet and the swag is all rusty and has become junk. The whole thing badly needs a proper clean out and a fresh start.
A quick and easy find as we clean up a few caches around Broadford. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Find #26 of 40 at 9:35:00 AM on my Mega Melbourne week - not a big total, but it turned out to be a fun & sociable time. But all good things must come to an end and it was time to start heading home again. Today I was travelling from Kilmore to Albury via Beechworth, with a 6+km walk in Beechworth, so took the opportunity to find a few caches along the way.
This cache is in need of some TLC - the plastic bag for the log book was very wet & I had nothing to dry it, so the log was put back separately to the bag (not inside).
TFTC MUZZDAWG11 - and providing a reason to break my drive for a rest.

Initially walked along the wrong track. Instead of retracing our steps we scrambled down through the dip which brought us within metres of gz. A quick find was made. Thanks.
Quick find once I worked out which side of the creek to be on. Just started to rain on this freezing lunch break so hurried back to the car!
Good place for a cache we enjoyed the short walk to cache which was quickly found.
Signed and made swaps then replaced. TFTC.

Taking friend (and some TBs needing a logged visit) on scenic tour and pointing out where I had previously found caches.
Nice walk to take a break from driving. Found the cache quickly. It's in good shape. TFTC

After visiting the Organ Pipes National Park today, we were wondering what to do with the rest of the day. We originally were going to have some lunch elsewhere but missed the turn and we are glad we did. We had never been to Broadford before and there was an Easter event on. The Na'wal kiddies had fun at the event, we had some Easter eggs and a great coffee. As we were driving around the town we stopped for this one. Didn't take to long to find however the log was wet. Returned as found.

Thanks for the cache! There were no muggles about but the horses next door all noticed me poking around. This cache is a bit damp
Forgot to mention in my previous log, the cache is wet inside and needs some TLC.
Being tall has many advantages. Just not when you're finding this cache! lol. After navigating to GZ I soon had the cache in hand. This is a beautiful area of Broadford, I'll have to spend more time here one day. Plenty of caches to find around the creek! TFTC.
Today we came on a four hour drive to be able to collect GC7A so naturally we do what cachers do and collect as many caches as we have time for nearby.
We had parked nearby to collect a cache and then did the short walk to arrive at GZ. The co-ords are spot on. Hubby left a little DNA here as he hit his head retrieving the cache. SL TFTC

I can't believe it took us as long as it did to find that especially as it's colour sticks out bad haha had fun with it though thanks for a great hide
Another find on our trip to Melbourne, its so hot were not quite used to this coming from the Highlands. TFTC
I had planned here to do 3 caches from the one spot but I parked 70m from this cache unfortunately on the wrong side of the creek. It was still running but a careful rockhop and wander through probably reptile infested grass I reached terra firma again and soon after a cache.

#2793 - 11:30; Day 2 of the great Sol de lune, fitzy_1965 and LuckyL10n road trip from Canberra to Melbourne and return was off to an early start so we could gather the last of the information we needed for the two Great Aussie Icon Hunt multis, which had inspired this trip. The final pieces of information to hand, we collected a few caches around Bulla, then it was off home again along the Hume Highway.
We decided to take a detour into Broadford to collect a few of the local caches. Having finished troll hunting, it was now time for a stroll. Luckily I chose the right track and was soon at GZ where a short search produced the goods. TFTC MUZZDAWG11

9086 + 1014 = 10100. Found during day 2 of the Windmill run down to Melbourne and back with Sol de Lune and LuckyL10n.
A casual discussion a few months ago led to the planning and execution of this road trip down to Melbourne and back for various Windmill and other caches. After grabbing the last of the required windmill info and some caches around Woodlands we started heading north towards home.
We stopped at Broadford as there was a nice collection of caches here. This one was a nice quick find at GZ once we were on the 'right' side! Signed, returned and we were off to the next one !
Thanks again MUZZDAWG11 !!
