Its always amazing to see how cemeteries are maintained. Even the ones where no one has been buried for half a century still look dignified. Im sure the manicurists and pedicurists that work on the zombies in these cemeteries are perpetually busy. The view here is so good that clearly no one wants to leave the place. In fact Im sure that during the next zombie apocalypse no local will be out looking for brains. They will be sitting on their burial plots admiring the view (hungry but happy). This was our last hide before heading to the bakery in town. This was also our first visit to Rosewood to and judging by the pies in the bakery, it might be a while before we are back. tftc
Headed out today with Privatears + 2 for a day of caching with the hope of eventually making it to Toowoomba. This was on the list to do a quick grab. All 4 of us had some difficulty initiating Geo-Vision whilst we battled with the very brisk winds of the morning, however the beautiful view helped us overcome this.13 yo Niece seemed to obtain super powers today as she found A LOT of the caches for the day! Thanks for the spot ManicWombat! 1 of 20 today; traditionals, mailbox,multi-cache, mystery, earthcache and virtual.#870
14 July 2024 8:55amCassow11ry and myself had planned on a day out today to celebrate something important...as a last minute we had the addition of two geokids who were meant to be away, but weren't. (For some finds, it was good they weren't as Miss 13 had really sharp eagle eyes today!!) We targeted in and around Toowomba. This was one of 19 (I think). It really was a beautiful view up here. We all went our separate ways and it didn't take too long for the find to be found. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here this morning.
TFTC. Grounds keepers were here doing maintenance, I had to wait for the perfect timing to look for the cache.
No where near where the gas was sending us but it was found.Absolutely gorgeous view... a place worth dieing for
Found this one while on a round about way to Toowoomba. After we'd had a look around at some of the graves it was a quick easy find.TFTC

**Found Saturday 11-November-2023 at 11:33 Smiley #2291**Wow, I have slowly just been finding caches, signing logs, logging drafts and simply forgetting about these and never actually logging them. My sincerest apologies to the relevant CO's, especially if I found issues with them and didn't do anything about them.Unfortunately my drafts were also designed to jog my memory about the cache to assist with the logging process. Doesn't work when some of them are over 2 years old. Here comes some generic comments. Once again, I apologise Had to do a work trip out to the western side of my command and I obviously had to stop and find some caches. Nice easy find. Beautiful view.Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache **ManicWombat** Rogersclan13

As per my find log, the hinge holding the lid to the cache body has failed. CO will need to check the cache and see if it requires repair or replacement. Sorry for the bad news.
Stopped at this small rural cemetery at Tallegalla to grab the nearby cache. Nice views to both the north and south from this locationLocated the cache quickly but found it was missing its lid. Found the lid on the ground, but there is no way to reattach as the hinge has failed. After signing the log, I put the cache back in such a way that the lid will held in place. CO may need to repair or replace container. Log in excellent condition.TFTC ManicWombat. SL.TB Prado Owl visited.Find # 1714.

Today it was a drive around the country towns and areas of Rosewood, Plainlands, Laidley and more. Oh my this area has just boosted along. A huge big shopping centre where it was just an old corner store and a small service station.
Wow what an awesome place and the views around here are just great. Thanks for the trip out to here for this one. easy find.
I really enjoyed my drive around, collecting a few caches and general sight seeing. I found this one easily, I signed the log and returned all as found. Thanks for the hide, all good with this one.

The views from here are absolutely gorjuz. After finding the cache, we took a breather at the nearby table and took in the views. We then remembered that we were on a bit of a timeline and got back in the geomobile to continue our adventures. Found with 1minniemoo and saintsmadhouse today on an outing to turn these greenies into smilies. After discussing this adventure for the last month or so, we had decided that today was going to be the day....and that was about as much planning as had been completed prior to meeting up in a semi central location. From there, we had a more solid plan at least until lunch. It was a great day and I got home roughly 13 hours after I left :> We have plans for our next adventure but no dates - we'll get there :>

It was a Girls’ caching antics day today, and although we didn’t have a KBreeAHH with us, SaintsMadHouse, Cosmonaut97 and I did have Signal the Frog standing in for her, and fully intended on a day of fun and frivolities.
It is so lovely and peaceful here, such a nice final resting spot with a beautiful sprawling view.
Cache was found quickly and signed as GCA today to save time and space in the logbook.
Thanks for the cache ManicWombat.

Grabbed it while an army/raaf chopper flew overhead. In good condition here. Such a stunning location!
Geohubby wanted to drive two tree Hill road, so a random detour on the way home through here lead us to this one.

Tftc! What a view!!
On the way to Toowoomba from brisbane my geo husband and I decided to divert and pick up a few smileys. This was a great place for a cache. Some very old graves here and magnificent views. Thankyou for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Rush to find this one before the oncoming rain arrived. It hit just as we were putting back, mad dash back to the car with the geobrats squealing in delight.
TFTC. We parked up at Rosewood for the night after the short run from Lawnton. After lunch we went out for an explore around the area. Using caching as our guide. Acouple of cemeteries and the Ipswich racing precinct made for an enjoyable couple of hours.
It’s Good Friday RIP. A trip up here from the Rosewood showgrounds to look around this beautiful area.

Found easily and added to the log with "George M." The second finder in two days too. Interestingly, in this place is the grave of F Sidney Cotton, aviator, inventor, and spy who flew photo reconnaissance flights over German held territory before and after WW2. He adopted quite innovative ways to mount cameras and experimented to achieve higher resolution on his aerial photos. He also invented a suit to keep himself (and later other pilots) warmer in the air. Strangely this was/is called the "Sidcot" suit. He was the last civilian British pilot to fly from Germany before war was declared in 1939 (and taking air photos in the process, the cheeky fellow). TFTC, Wombat. (You are not really Manic, I'm sure).
