There has been a buildup of caches around the Mid North Coast that have not been found for quite some time with multiple DNF's, Write Note, or Needs Maintenance and where the CO has not been able to follow up or are no longer caching. Consequently these caches appear to have been abandoned.
These caches need to be archived to stop visitors to our region from being disappointed after in some cases having to make a significant effort to get to GZ only to find nothing.

Hi Killa_Frilla,
This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, only to discourage people from visiting this location until this cache may be addressed.
**Please note that caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis you will be given some extra time to react as we recognise that CO's can't just pop out and fix the issue,** geocache maintenance can wait. Once the acute threat of pandemic is over, I will remind you about your cache needing attention.
Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so. However, I would like to assure you I will not be archiving any caches which the cache owner does not currently feel safe to maintain.
I'll pass by in about another 45 days and hopefully this will all be over.

Left the wife at the pool while staying in Harrington and had around 4 hours to cache around Taree picking up some caches and mysteries.
Drove around Taree and surrounds collecting as many as I could. Parked near GZ and walked down to the river. Started searching typical hides and found in the first place I looked. SL and replaced. Interesting place down here, TFTC.

Had a fair look, area is pretty overgrown though so I feel I easily could've missed it.
While out and about in Taree today we stopped off to search for this cache which was located soon enough once in the Ground Zero area. We signed the log book and then replaced as found but not before having retrieved the Sydney Koala Geocoin. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
What a beautiful spot this is. The hardest part about finding this cache was finding the access point. We parked under a shady tree and walked along to GZ. A few fellows were swimming off the pontoon enjoying their Saturday morning.
We dropped off a little TB. All is good with this cache.
Thanks for showing us this nice location Killa Frilla.

With no street map or local knowledge, we had to blind navigate through the streets until we could park in a likely place then walk up a pleasant grassy track to GZ. MrsFish had a nice seat while I looked, until the ants started to bite. I found the container in one of the first places I looked, there weren't that many hiding places that couldn't be seen from the steps. Thanks Killa_Frilla for a good hide in such a nice place.
Think I knew where it was but I had muggles from hell watching me weeding the grasses on the bank so left as I didn't want to compromise the cache next time
This cache has really shown me the pretty side to Taree! Beautiful views and surroundings, this is why I love geocaching so much. I had big plans for the trackable that was here but alas I was too late. Cheers!
On a road trip from Brisbane to get a couple of caches for a challenge back home and this cache helped my to qualify.
I found the access path down the hill. Not sure if I actually walked through private property to get there but no one saw me.
I headed along the trail and soon came across the staircase to nowhere.
A quick find of the cache. Lovely views of the river from here. I retrieved the Dice TB.

This one took a while but we finally found it. One of the nicest places caching has taken us in the Taree area. Found with Cckabbabs. TFTC
Day 14 of our trip and we have now moved up to the Manning Valley area of NSW. After a trip to Ellenborough Falls today we picked up this cache on the way home to keep our continuous days of caching going while we are on holidays. There was no one around today and we eventually found it with the help of the hint. It took longer than it should have. TFTC and bringing us to another great spot. TNLN
A quick find in the first place we looked. Kids enjoyed looking at Indonesian money in the cache. TNLN TFTC
Been here a few times in the last few days on a holiday walk. Great little find. Don't over think it when looking for it!

Found this one today with Gazkersh and Tilly so we could earn our first leap day souvenir! What a gorgeous spot, will definitely go back there for a picnic one day Tricky little hide and nice container. Little Miss left a pirate coin and pretend gemstone. Took nothing. Signed log. TFTC Killa_Frilla!
Love the cache container! Took a few minutes searching but obvious when spotted lol TNLNSL TFTC
A quick lunch time cache on a hot spring day found me down here...a beautiful peaceful spot with no muggles to worry about! A bit of searching had me worried I was searching in the wrong spot till I spotted it from well back-the area is a little overgrown but still managed to reach it. Was almost out of my little arms reach!!!! Found it, logged. Replaced it a little closer so short arms can still reach! Love the container!
Prefect weather today, go out for a day with mum for fun drive..
Enjoyed walked to GZ..
Little searched, quickly spot..
sign in as no trouble..
Thanks

Found the view, found the picnic spot, found the stairs, found a bottle - but not the cache.
I come back to Taree most Christmases, but have not been to this park for many years, so its a bit of a trip down memory lane.
Pretty spot and a straightforward find. Thanks Killa.
Pretty spot and a straightforward find. Thanks Killa.
A fairly straight forward find if you don't try too hard. Once I started approaching GZ I didn't look at my GPS, just checked out the first most obvious spot and there it was. No snakes, no Wandering Jew to contend with. Thanks Killa Frilla and cheers from Browngang
Looked high and low but cache was a no show. The area is overgrown with wandering jew. I think this needs to be checked out.
my gps was leading me beyond the stairs but I was too afraid to venture into the overgrown bush alone after reading previous logs.
Daughter and i looked for another half hour Must be well camouflaged Extra hints welcome
Did not find got attacked by stinging nettles then spotted a brown snake maybe another time
We spent a nice night with friends at Morpeth, so found a couple of caches before as we headed home.
What a great spot for a cache, we have never visited this part of Taree before. Lots of new homes in the area & the water way is so peaceful.
After a short walk at the back of the homes we found the cache using the good hint.
Worth a favourite point & left a TB to visit.
Thanks Killa Frilla

DNF this one, seems like it should have been easy though. It's overgrown, not sure if that hindered my efforts. Any help??
A nice quick find today in the sun light after a failed attempt the night before! TFTC.
