A tricky one as I parked in an awkward spot. Walked into a barbed wire fence, then backtracked and just followed the cacher trail straight to GZ
Felt a bit iffy looking for this one as it seems to be on private property. A bit of creek jumping involved. Eventually had it in hand
Beautiful spot thanks for the hide picked up the travel bug will take it on a adventure will drop soon destination Sydney for Luke combs concert.
Went past at first as gps signal was poor. Found it quickly after. Nice cache after a day at the reptile park. Left trackable. TFTC
After AusPol thought it was in private property, we came back today to avenge this one and made a quick find. Mrs AusPol got her foot stuck slightly and had a bit of a tumble on the way back to the car. Thanks for the cache!
It was our third approach. This time with OlMaLol. This time it was an easy find, though managed to stack it jumping the tiny creek.
We have travelled up from Sydney's Northern Beaches to the Central Coast, staying at the Norah Head Holiday Park (caravan park), for a short four day mid-week holiday. Stopped off on the way up at Somersby Falls and completed the Adventure Lab located there, then grabbed a few Traditionals and a Virtual cache before returning to the freeway and on to Norah Head. Planning on exploring areas surrounding Tuggerah Lake, including The Entrance, and up to Budgewoi. Also hoping to get out to Halloran for the Wizard Of Oz cache trail. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base. This was the 2nd of 12 finds for the day (day 1), and 2nd find of the holiday.
This one was next, and thankfully the rain had stopped by the time we arrived at the cache location. Parked at the gate and went in the hard way via the creek, but made a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Exited via the easier route through the scrub.
The "STOP No Trespassing" sign near the gate was a bit concerning at first, but it looks as if it refers to the property on the opposite side of the creek. Now we are off to visit Somersby Falls. TFTC Shockers.

Found It!
Took me a little longer to find this than it should've but eventually I spotted it. Nice little place, although very wet here at the moment.

A quick detour on the way home from a visit to the Reptile park. While we have be to the Falls plenty of times we have never ventured down this road. We stopped near GZ, heeded the signs, noticed the semi hidden mailbox and contemplated the gate to nowhere before heading bush in an attempt to stay on public land.
After a bit of very boggy walking along a geotrail we found the awesome spot which the cache was hidden in. The kids decided it would be a great cubby house location.
Cache and contents were safe and dry, despite the path in basically being a second creek.
Thanks for the Cache!

TFTC! Not too difficult this one and nice close parking with a bit of bush bashing. Hit this one early, before work... glad I had my boots on.
Nice quick grab after a "stroll" through the bush. Great views at the Falls nearby!

TFTC. I was here with my grandmother Techsavvy 9 before going to the Falls to do the Adventure Lab. I don't like going into the bush but I braved it.
TFTC a nice quick find . As I was driving up to it on the narrow road I said to my grandson. I’m not going into the bush. We did. We both have a snake phobia but we made a bit of noise with our feet. No reptiles seen. Off to walk the falls again. Love this place.
Bush bashing with the geographies and found after a short search! Thanks for the cache! : )
Out on another morning ride to the Somersby area. Nearly got myself stuck at the bottom of the hill as there was not much room to turn around. Once I found the correct route to GZ it was a quick find.

Up for the usual weekly visit and detoured over here where I haven't been before. Decided where to heed the signs, stopped and wandered in for the find. Thanks Shockers.
Spent a little time at somersby falls and did this on the way out. Went beyond the gate and down through the little stream but later realised that wasn’t necessary. Cool cache. Thanks
What a pretty spot! We parked in front of the gate and jumped down the little waterfall. It was fun but wouldn't recommend it with little kids. He's the start of little bush track, it was much easier. Thanks for the fun adventure!
This cache was checked today. The container and log are in good condition. Dropped off "Breast Cancer Travel Tag Geocoin" for the next cacher to find.
Found with Shaneo58. Doing some caches around the Central Coast area, Trying to get some harder caches. Quick find for this one.

Well that was in an out of the way place. Cache is in good order and well hidden TFTC shockers well done on your first hide.
In the area for a few days and before we headed back home we stopped off at the falls to complete the nearby Adventure Lab and then proceeded down to this cache. Parked near the gate and walked through the bush following the small cacher trail to GZ to make a quick find. With the cache in hand we signed the log before replacing as found. Thanks for the cache Shockers.

Found with thusbruv_sqrd after a visit to the reptile park. Once a suitable parking spot was found it was a quick and easy find, TFTC
Gps was really dodgy up here so not sure we went to the right place but couldnt find anything
Added this to our visit to the Falls nearby. A great little hide away. TTFC
Fifth find today. Very peaceful area, only natural sounds. Thanks for the beautiful area.
Many thanks for placing and maintaining a place I would normally never visit

I found it, if you walk in the forest there are some tracks. I fell in the mud near the water slipping and sliding. (Don’t slip and slide) (no need to trespass)
Popped up to Somersby falls this afternoon to check out the flow after a heap of rain recently. Decided to check out this cache after, and found pretty easily after a bit of scrub bashing. Container seems to be getting chewed on again and things are getting a bit damp! Grabbed trackable to relocate. TFTC!
Being nearby for some other caches we headed over. The last log was a bit of a concern and the private property sign was soon spotted but we figured the creek would be the boundary so headed in. A bit over grown and then we spotted something as the meters counted down and upon removing some camo made the find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
No luck today. Reached the end of a private road - no trespassing, with pretty impassable terrain on the side of the creek.
Nice easy find today after we visited the falls. Cache is in good condition, took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for the hunt. Matt and Court
Found with the beautiful TeamScozzy. Dropped a trackable for the next lucky contestant.
Dropped a trackable here ready to be moved along, hopefully it is found quickly ready for its next adventure. Great cache! Explored Somersby Falls while we were here
Easier than I made it. The map suggests GZ is on the other side of the creek and in the private property, but it's not...tftc
Awesome geocache and well hidden. Few scratches and the hint helped... also found the track able
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.

We needed to find a cache today for a souvenir so once the weather had cooled down a little we headed out and located this one. The coordinates are good and the cache was located quickly. There is a small hole in the container. Mrs Shifter also picked up a hitchhiker (leach) which was quickly disposed of before it had time to have a feed.
Thanks for the hide Shockers.

First target for my caching trip around Somersby today. Parked near the equestrian centre and made my way towards GZ on foot. I'd read about the private property signs and skirted around to the left to avoid them. Thankfully a nice quick find. Added name to log, claimed nearly a year of unloved days and made my way back to the car before anyone new better.

Tftc I overshot it and was down in the creek. Got some weird looks from the guy who owns the property right here lol. Practically on his front gate but he was nice enough

Tftc, overshot it and ended up down at the creek and got a leech for my trouble! Nice new log book mmmmm took sticker/magnet thing and left a Disney card. Ooh the guy who lives here gave me a suspicious look on his way into his driveway as I was parked in front of it and there isn't really anything else I would be doing down this dead end Rd so just give him a friendly wave like I did and he shouldn't bother you lol

Those rats, or whatever it is that chewed on the container, will need to start again. A new container has replaced the holey one and a new log book is in place as well.
Enjoy the hunt.
Enjoy the hunt.
Great spot but the container needs replacing the rats are starting to eat it.
#3 for the day, found 21 all up.
Found with Ausfeet and the Aussie Greythounds
Geo-track to cache was a bit bogged, but found cache easily all the same. The dogs enjoyed seeing horses as we drove past.

Bit beyond the capabilities of an etrex 10. Luckily I found it while walking in. Tftc tnln
An easy find, but is this on private property, all the signs say don't go past the gate?
Was a bit iffy about the private property but prevailed non the less. So peaceful like a miniature rainforest. Took TB
We parked just as the owners of the private property came home. But they did not bother us. Easy find after being to the falls. Thanx.

Headed north today for a number of finds. Made my way down to the end of the road to meet the private property sign. Hmmm, let's follow the arrow and found a fairly obvious cache trail heading the right direction. The first obvious camo was checked and came up blank but a little further on and bingo, there it was. Nice and easy, even after all the rain no sign of leeches luckily in this country. Thanks Shockers.
Was in the area for a little while today and was keen to pick up a few of the surrounding caches. It was such a beautiful day, the actual Falls were absolutely packed! I blame school holidays.
Drove down here and quickly realised you can easily access the cache without going on to the private property. There are a couple of fairly obvious geotrails leading through the bush.
Thanks for the cache.

the weather just held of so I could get this cache. After this it poured rain and I had to call it a day.The cache was found and there was a peice of the log just sitting outside the cache, the last log said property owner 6/9/15 so I signed as well and put it all back away Thanks for the cache Shockers tnln sl
