Stayed in the caravan park and this was a quick find before we left. Took the wrong route the first time around and then changed my approach to a much easier one. Well camouflaged. TFTC
Staying in the park for a couple of nights and went for a walk to gather this one, made hard work of getting into the gz but made a much easier exit, thanks again Muffy and Co for the hide.
A few false starts before we found the way of least resistance. How did you ever find this spot...? TFTC Muffy and Co.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 11 - Port Lincoln Day. The day started with caches around the town area and a bit of shopping. I also managed to do the Statue Labs whilst having a walk along the fore shore area. With all the chores out of the way, I started following the coast to the south towards Tulka following a nice walking trail and ending up at the gates of the National park. This gave me plenty of free time in the afternoon to catch up on logging. One more New county tomorrow as I head to Ellistion, although there do not seem to be as many caches on the west coast of the Eyre Peninsula. This was a short morning walk over from my van. No one seemed to be about, and by the cache it was quite under cover. The cache was found, I signed the log, it was put back and I moved on. In the car. Thanks for the cache Muffy and Co46631.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Lackey AKPrincesswarrior A#497**Albida**
Well I made that hard work getting through the scrub to GZ but when I reached the spot I knew I was there and I could see who could be watching if anyone had been around. Of course there was a much easier way to access GZ, as always happens. We'd been walking along the Parnkalla Trail and I stopped for a few caches along the way. This was the first after enjoying lunch on the grass nearby and watching birds chasing each other.TFTC # 5944
Staying in Port Lincoln for 3 nights. Now to get a mix of sightseeing and caching
Caching from WA west coast to SA for the leap year mega. TFTC. Just had to grab this one while staying in the park.
TFTCOn a short holiday with geo hubby Animal62 & also to pick up our new set of 4x4 wheels. We also have a little time to pick up a few caches.
Ocw the Bebes as we stay in PL. followed the geotrail for a quick find for this one. Tftc
3rd find for the arvo. Bike riding with the geo kids.Another cache missing a pen. TFTC
Tried to find while staying in the park, hoping the bad weather threw the coordinates out because all we found was rubbish, broken glass and a dead rat so decided to abort mission.
#5306 No one was watching as far as we could tell under the cover of thick vegetation. Certainly lot of muggles at the nearby busy caravan park packed in like sardines making us happy we were camped elsewhere. We did enjoy a nice walk with the geohounds along this section of coastline. TFTC.
Found while visiting Port Lincoln for the week. Today I did a loop around town, then headed out to complete a circuit along the Flinders and Tod Highways out to Wanilla, and returning to Lincoln along the unsealed backroads. Thanks for the cache Muffy and Co!
There are a few paths to this cache, some easier than others. Seals, a drone and some squidding at the nearby jetty. Tftc
Staying in Port Lincoln for a few days, checking out the town and caching as we go. Nice stroll from the park to the cache here, quick find too.
Find #6097 on 1 Jul 2023.

OMGosh. What a bush bash. I was hoping it was snakes bed time as I saw a bunny and a massive spider web. I was jacketed up to protect from the nasty bushes. It was a bit of a special place once we arrived. Staying in a cabin so wandered down before dinner.
Thank you for placing this for us to find. Thank you for contributing to the geo map and maintaining when required. TFTC

For an early Christmas pressie mrs frilk had booked a short cruise for us. The journey so far had been plagued by strong winds so we had not been able to make our first stop however today we had a beautiful day to wander around Port Lincoln. We eschewed the organised excursions and decided to let the geocaching app guide our way. We walked for over 5 hours and covered over 20km.
Mrs frilk sent me in to find the cache which I manage to do fairly quickly. TNLN. TFTC.

Just arrived and it is blowing a gale making fishing off the jetty a risky past time today. TFTC.
Ended up crawling on ands to get to this from above. Exhausted now. Not so good foe reptile fearing oldies but it just shows you. Tftc
Out on my morning walk, finding some caches. What a ripper spot here, fave from me!
Was wondering where the cache could be when a geological feature was seen that just screamed out cache hide and the cache was soon in hand
TFTC and greetings from Tassie

After a fantastic day out exploring the area with iluvtrekking, we returned to our caravans nearby to take the geo-pooches for a well earned walk. Fortunately no-one was watching so we were able to locate and record our visit unobserved. Thanks Muffy and Co
Another cache found with richlink.
The boys took the dogs for a walk and picked up a couple of caches along the way.
Thank you so much to the CO’s who have placed and maintained caches for the enjoyment of all.

No one’s watching - it’s dark! Glad I circled around and came in from above. Out on trusty treadles exploring the trail and sights. Finally in Port Lincoln with time ahead to stop in this lovely well kept historic town. Day 15 in SA after numerous trips were sabotaged due to you know what and its a fab day. The Ikera- Flinders Ranges, Whyalla, Port Lincoln and a few in between caches are high on the list along with several other random caches so hoping to tick all boxes before heading back to home base. I’ve learnt theRE are plenty of quality SA caches - plenty to pique the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game.
Came for a walk with the dogs on our last night in Pt Lincoln and thought we would grab the two caches along this path. [^]
It took a while to find the way in to GZ but I got there in the end and the cache was found soon after.
Thanks for the cache Muffy and Co.

A lovely walk down the parnkalla trail. A very picturesque little spot. The kids had a great play on the beach while the adults searched for a cache. TFTC!
Let the kids go for a search for shells on the beach, while we headed for a cache in the scrub. Quick find was made after getting hung up on a branch momentarily. TFTC l.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 2:20pm. The cache was found quickly and it's in good condition. TFTC
Starting looking for this cache, and surprise we were being watched!! Had a chat to the CO, found the cache and off we went on our way to find some more. TFTC
Well it’s 2021 and I have finally said good bye to a not so great 2020 and it was great to finally be able to have a reasonable holiday as I have not had a decent break since 2019.
Made to South Australia and finally crossing the boarder and then being greeted by a couple of very friendly SA police offices for which i had the official paper work to allow me to enter.
After making my way west along the Eyre Hwy I went as far as Penong and the Eyre Hwy which I have not travelled along since the late 70’s when I was on a holiday with my folks and this was the last holiday before I started full time work as a sparkie and finding a few caches as I go.
Geocaching when towing a van is not always easy and I have to be a bit selective on which ones I decide to try and find for safe parking purposes especially along busy highways.
So after leaving Coffin Bay my next destination is Port Lincoln which is down the bottom of Eyre Peninsular off the Flinders Hwy.
I’m hoping for better weather soon I don’t mind it being cool just not rain showers when you are out and about.
I left Coffin Bay early so I could get set up and then go out looking for little green dots on my map.
As I’m staying in the caravan park I think that this one is a must do.
Some of the sites here offer great views of the bay and surrounds.
Walked down to the jetty and breakwater and then came back up and hopefully nobody is Watching as I search for this one.
Added my name to the log and now to follow the trail onto the next one.
Thanks Muffy and Co TFTC.

First for the day and it's always good to start with a find .
Thought we'd take a walk before leaving the park and heading west, so this was the obvious place .
Took awhile to locate and pretty much did a full circle of the tree before making our find .
TNLNSL.
Thanks Muffy and Co.
