Logs
I searched on both sides of the track going up and down but couldn't find it. Maybe next time.
SPOR spotted by my geo kid in tow today. Quick check by him came up with the win
Had a Quick Look but mozzies got the best of us and we continued on may circle back and have another look
Looked for quite a while and used the photos but it isnt anywhere near where it was originally. Have messaged the owner that it is gone
Looked for a while - used photo clues but nothing found today Mozzies won
Attempted this we searched for a bit but couldnt find it hopefully our skills were just off and it havent been muggled
Cool container. An easy find once we looked on the right side of the track! TFTC.
This cache is in great condition. It was an easy find thankfully as the mozzies are horrible! Would definitely recommend repellant if youre out walking this track m, especially after a bit of rain. Also a lot of muggles around being school holidays and feel we have certainly got a few odd stares
TFTC and upkeep of it! Feels good to actually find it today after hard day and plus its another one I can count towards my December solstice souvenir.
I found GZ and looked according to hint and past logs but I cant find the cache. Good there was large chucks of time were there were no muggles but I did have to sleuth when they passed. Was thrown by spider web pictured below. I think like the last few logs its been missing for a while. Cool hearing the air show from the track. Live close by so I can try again. But I think CO needs to check GZ for cache.
Unfortunately it was a no for me today. Felt reasonably confident I was looking in the right place based on previous logs, but couldn't find it. I'll be back!
TFTC. Phone GPS had me on the wrong side of the track. After reading previous logs made a quick find.
TFTC! Clearing the whole Fernleigh Track today on bike. Team Foy. Aria and Jason.
We are heading up the coast to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.
Out grabbing a few around this area while staying in the area. Found this yesterday but had no container, so back out today to replace it. Hope it last a little longer, as a great hide.
Thanks Grub Fred for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Great natural camo. Tube missing so I wrote on some paper and put it inside as best as I could.

I'm just loving riding the Fernleigh Track. What a gem this is.
Out and about with Rama497 and Skybomonkeytown.
This is my second time riding the track as I enjoyed it a few weeks ago following the GCNSW event.
A nice little hide here. A few passers by were giving us quizzical looks as to why we were stopped here.
I'll be back. I want to ride this track again!!!
Thanks for hiding this cache Mr G.

Our first traditional find of the day, here with muggle friends. Angus (aka Indiangus) found this one with a little encouragement and guidance, it’s his first time seeing a geocache. Even his little sister Maggie was excited.

Today Calypso62, SkyMonkey and I made our way up from Sydney to Adamstown by train to ride our push bikes down the Fernleigh Track to Belmont and then ride around Lake Macquarie to Booragul train station for the return journey home.
This was the first for the day and it was a quick find.

Good hint, found after a few minutes searching. No pen on hand to log
TFTC. I found the cache on Sunday with Meritonnn, Sweetmanda and Stefanoodle. It was a lovely day to walk part of the track. Couldn’t sign the log as it was wet. I see Grub Fred has replaced the log already.

After attending the Fernleigh event organized by Geocaching NSW, it was time to mount our bikes and cycle our way from Adamstown to Belmont. It was a slow descending track, and the dedicated bicycle path over the former railroad track made for a very enjoyable ride, and we could enjoy the nature around the track.
After lunch at Lake Mac, it was time to cycle back to Adamstown. But slowly uphill with head wind proved to be quite tiring.
To release out aching muscles we stopped for a few caches along the way.

Out caching on the Fernleigh Track with Sweetmanda and Meritonnn today. The others from the event had long disappeared over the horizon on their bikes; we were happy to pootle along behind and pick up caches today.
It was a quick find; alas the log was soaked and we couldn't sign it. (I see that maintenance has been done since the find, so all good here). Thanks for placing the cache for us to seek.

After attending a nearby GCNSW gathering, it was time to mount my under-utilised mtb for a few hours of caching along this wonderful stretch of ex railway. Meritonnn had advised me of this event some time ago, and I saw it as a perfect opportunity to get out and about. When the gathering had concluded, Meritonnn and I retrieved our bikes and headed to the trail. I was really looking forward to experiencing this trail. We soon linked up with another, Stefanoodle, and we teamed up to hit the trail.
It wasn’t long until we came across our next target. All our combined eyes honed in on a likely spot and sure enough, there it was! Unfortunately the log was too wet to sign.

This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 11980.
Whilst waiting for the others to catch up we stopped at this one. Good to turn an old DNF into a find
Thanks Grub Fred for the cache.

In the area today to attend the GCNSW Fernleigh Fun Ride event, cycling along this lovely track for the first time with Sweetmanda and Stefanoodle and grabbing some caches along the way. At GZ we soon spotted something suspicious and quickly had CIH. Unfortunately log was saturated and unable to be signed, however one of the boys did take a photo to send to CO. TFTC!
I attended the Geocaching NSW Fernleigh Fun Ride event today and, while having fun riding down to Belmont, stopped off at this one on the way past. Unfortunately the log is completely saturated to the point where I couldn't even unroll it without it coming apart, so I attempted to sign BFJ on the outside but without much success either.
Many thanks for the hide.
