Took a bit but finally found it. Tftc and thanks for a great walk today we all really enjoyed it.
In perusing the map looking for 'fuel' for the cosmic quest i found a heap in south Gippsland that Id neglected to log. This was one of them TFTC Charitylane
Have been unsuccessful on previous attempts to find it but today we scored! Great hide
I almost walked away! Great spot had a laugh after finding it - took us forever but worth it thanks for the cache
Unfortunately we scoured the area not being able to find this one on the 20/4/24.
Thanks! Very busy on the trail today, guess it makes sense being school holidays. But an easy find.
A very enjoyable late afternoon walk in and around Foster during my first ever visit to this area. I am very keen on cycling the length of the GSRT sometime soon. The cache was a nice easy find. A little wet inside but I was able to make a semi-legible mark on the log. TFTC
No photos near the cache, but one I took nearby for effect.

Sneacky little thing. Don´t neede to go into the bushes, just look closely! Tftc
I tried to find another time and guys were working on electricity poles nearby - same again today. But I figured they wouldn’t see me. Found on ground replaced all good and snug. Tftc
Spent around 15 minutes trying to find this. Became very frustrated but then tried the GPS again and we found it within 2 metres. Very happy to have spotted it and its very cute hide. Not to far off the track.
Walking further along the trail and I passed some chainsawing workers who politely paused for me. Thankfully, they were out of sight of gz so I was able to get hunting. A little peeping and peering around and voila, a cache. TFTC de ja vu.
Quick find thankfully... thought I'd have to scrumage in the bush but scanned the area before getting down to business and notice the hiding spot.

Decided to do our caches by walking today. A beautiful day spent with Bogonghazy.
A weekend down in Gippsland with Little Boss2 had us doing plenty including a little caching.
We decided a day of exercise was the way to go here so walked to as many of these as we could. Thanks de ja vu, we got lucky here by trusting the coords and found it almost straight away

Well. We made a friend who phoned a friend to find it. It is a tricky one to find. Maddi, Heath, Nanna and Glen 5/4/21
Last for the ride and tbe hardest. 15 miss searching before eventually turned it up. Not in thr vegetation! Thanks for the cache cache a nice morning ride.
A trip down to Fish Creek for a few days.
Drove to Foster then unloaded the deadly treadly for a ride east on the Rail Trail.
First cache for the morning, and first spider upset - not the last today though.
Thanks, Robmc.

With the relaxed Covid restrictions in regional Victoria, we are enjoying being out and about in Gippsland. We have been frustrated with our finds this year, we had planned to travel and explore central NSW and Queensland using the geo map as our tour guide, but Covid messed that up.
Once again we have teamed up with Rebel Acts (and are signing small caches as RASP)and today we are down South Gippsland way on the look out for as many caches as we can find. At the moment it is a mild overcast day which makes for very comfortable caching.
A case of acute cache blindness. This one took us far too long to find, a neat little hide that fooled us completely. We did get there in the end though.

There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area. this is one of the caches we found today.

Tijden rit van Phillip Island via Wilsons Promotory naar Thredbo deze cache gezocht, maar niet gevonden.
Visiting the area for the next 2 days. Found myself in Foster with 4 hours spare all to myself. What to do but geocache of course.
Rainy weather setting in after a glorious sunny day caching and losing light quickly, surprisingly I walked straight up to this one for a quick find.
Cache in good condition and log has plenty of life in it yet. Cute hiding spot.
Thank you for the cache here de ja vu

Went uphill to Wongan Hills this morning to get warm, and get the view. Only time for one cache, 'cos coffee was calling ! So pm saw us head in opposite direction to Toora for some caches. We liked this clever little hide. TFTC.
Last one at the end of the day. I was glad to find it after not too long. Good hide.
Catching up with some very late logs
We had set aside a few days to explore Gippsland with alansee endeavoring to aid him reaching 30,000 finds before the Queanbeyan mega event at Easter.
We visited rail trails, parks, mountains seeing beautiful scenery along the way as well as enjoying some lovely walks as well as some easy drive by's. The weather was mostly kind to us enabling us to search for the caches in comfort.
With time constraints today we only looked for those that were less than 500 metre walks from the nearest entry point but we did very much enjoy our strolls along this old railway line. Another trip is required to finish the series

Found by Mary & David at 0753. Stayed in Foster overnight, then an early start this morning. Glad the rain has stopped. A wonderful variety of wattle about, Our thanks to de ja vu.
Didn't find it first time we came today but we were elated to find it the second time, found it just as we were giving up! Spotted by a helpful man both visits, who was encouraging but didn't give it away. Log was very wet, so we wrapped the whole container in a plastic bag and placed it back exactly where we found it. Only a few lines left on the log. Great hiding spot, happy to have found it.
We couldn’t find it the first time so we kept walking to find other then we came back and after a bit more frustration we found it
Today is moving day today sees us travel from Phillip Island to Foster and along the way we grab a cache and after arriveing we decided to grab a few more.

Another cache much harder than the D1 rating implied, as many previous finders have noted. After reading the hint and several previous logs we gathered that it was far trickier than we expected. Eventually I spied it in a spot that a wheelchair rider would have difficulty accessing.
Found this one while visiting the area.
Greetings from a german cache team on vacation.
