We went down the wrong road and then the wrong path. After looking at photos we went basic and found it after a few laps, nice hide
Went down the wrong road and had to trek up the side of the hill where my companion almost fell down, great cashe 100 % recommend!
Came here again with what I thought would be a great tott (it was), only to find the cache a bit closer so it wasnt needed. Everything all good here. I was lucky enough that my lofty son saw my ute parked up and stopped to see what I was up to. He helped rehide a bit more how I remembered it last time. Mihi ki a koe, the Seagnoid, mo te keteroki ( and history lesson as always ) #473
Found it easy enough, just need a tott which local flora wasnt able to provide. Will be back
This was hard to find. We needed to look at previous find photos for help in finding.
Thanks the Seagnoid for the cache. Its #2009 for us. We found your cache on Saturday 6 July 2024. After trying from the wrong side we realised that there was another way to approach this cache. Quick find once we arrived near GZ
Ok i went back and wrote my name in the log as i went by. The spider was nowhere in sight this time
I am logging this as found.1. I took a photo since i cannot reach it. Stupid short arms. I need kne of those claw grabber thingies.2. I found this at night time in thr dark and then saw a massive 'oh hell no' spider come out of one of the main posts in the metal fence so i noped out of there real fast. I do not do spiders.
Second time finding this. Showed my neices how to geocache. They really enjoy doing this activity. Thanks
Took a couple of looks before and after playing at the playground. Great find! TFTC
In the area today so I walked on a bit further and found this cache. I looked at the area the hint seemed to signify but no luck. i was about to give up when I saw the cache in plain sight, at a completely different height than the hint indicated. It looked like it had possibly fallen off and been replaced in the wrong place. After signing the log, I put it back at what I thought matched the hint. Thanks to the Seagnoid for the cache in this location. Palmerston North kids seem to have a lot of cool places to go!
Nice spot for a cache. The cache is in excellent condition and easy to find.Thank you for the cache!
A few minutes walking up and down the road but found it in the end. Merry Christmas.
Sadly a DNF today! Didnt want to look too suspicious hunting for too long. Its quite busy and lots of Kids in the park cooling off in the water activities. So if I get a cancellation will try again during my short visit. Not having data ora GPS make life a little more tricky too!!
It took a little while to find but got it!!! in the end. Cool case. Fun to find

Found with TeKainga. At the GZ it took us a couple minutes to adjust and we were contemplating attacking from another angle when it was spotted. Could’ve slapped us if it were trying. Tftc
Found the GC but the fence is being pulled down today.
I have removed to cache to stop it getting destroyed and have contacted the owner for instructions

The fence is being removed and the cache has been recovered for safe keeping. Once the works have been completed the cache will be replaced - I wonder if we will be able to upgrade it to the modern railway standard?
#12,862. Seems I forgot to log this find back in 2021. I came here with Infoferret and checked the low road while she did the high road and she got the find. I recalled what the cache was like and after a short search there it was once more. No idea why I forgot to log it last time. But added my name to the very full sheet once more and replaced as found. Thanks the Seagnoid for hiding it here.
I remember needing to be very stealthy due to pop up firewood stand just infront of the cache
Found with JoeyGE0. I have now made my own account and am logging the caches I have found to keep my account up to date. This is a real account. I placed the cache back as found, TFTC thanks the Seagnoid putting this Traditional cache out!

Visiting the park with my son and thought I’d find some caches while we were here. Managed to fit a lil toy in. Tftc
We couldn’t find it but then we looked over the fence and we found it sadly we didn’t have a pen to wright on it
When I EtherLord / Dad went to go replace this cache we found out that it was just sitting there around about where it should be with just one space left on it.
As I took the last spot there is no need to worry about replacing the log for a while.

Stopped by with a replacement cache, but there it was still in place.
Log only had one spot left, which EtherGirl claimed.
Luckily, the log in my replacement cache was the required size for the incumbent container.
Cache is (still) good to go

Log book nearly full but a quick find with good co-ordinates. Thanks for the history and the cache.

Another quick one to tick off as we are cruising the streets of Palmy waiting for New Years to tick over.
At least its the one night you don't look out of place carrying on about your business in the middle of the night.

Wooh this a cool and easy one, love it!! Neat to do day or night - MR & MRS TFTC
GPS a bit out but walked away then back which located gz Log a bit wet .Thanks and for the history of this area.
One of a few caches located today in Palmerston North and on the road to the Wairarapa, in between an Ad Lab or two! Drizzly morning, fortunately a reasonably quick find. #5232. TFTC.
Nice quick and easy find. Thanks for placing this one, I’m staying nearby with a friend before his wedding tomorrow.
In town for a long weekend of orienteering events. This was closish to where we were staying so headed out for a walk and made a quick find. Enjoyed wandering around the park too. TFTC
Having been up in Wanganui for the weekend I had made arrangements that meant I could be at this park today for a midday-ish CITO event, and surprisingly everything went according to plan, so I was. After the rubbish collection was completed and everyone else had left the area, I stuck around to find this cache.
Once at the right location (I went the low road first) it did take me a couple of passes to finally spot the hide. Fortunately the high road location was all quiet down this end which meant I didn't attract any attention with my searching. Cache is all good here, log safe and dry. TFTC.

Found on a trip with Etherlord Clan showing some out of Towners around to some geocachers
After enjoying dinner with the Etherlord Clan, and zooming off to nab a FTF, Etherlord kindly chauffeured myself, Gabzter13 and Mart0r around the city to collect a few local caches, this being one of them.
A quick find, and then off to a nearby Multi.

12 September 2021 15:51. Found once some dogwalkers had moved away, so I could search properly. Tftc, number 10081 for me.
