Logs
Unfortunately, very wet and mouldy logs are indicative of an unsuitable cache container.
The CO has been given the opportunity to rectify the situation but this does not appear to have happened.
As the cache is no longer guideline-compliant it is being Archived to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Hmm, but it is still there, and we were even able to sign the log (though it is rather wet)! Hope we can still count this smilie in our favour. The container appears appropriate and watertight - as long as people close it properly.
Stopped at the namesake for this cache for a coffee, which was ok, but the ambience of the coffee place was very cool!
Thanks for bringing us here

A day in Ballarat, attending a CITO at Warrenheip Creek and afternoon tea at Eureka. With caches being archived rapidly along the 'Symbol' Series, we took this good opportunity to head down and pick up the caches that are left. Snap parked whilst I jumped and grabbed the caches I could along the trail. Something off the series. Still there, still active, it just needs a new log. Thanks for the cache, romork.

Find #1641 for me. Found at 2:50 pm on one of my regular trips to Ballarat from Bendigo. As I approached this one I thought "Oh dear..." - not one but 3 cars parked right at GZ... Luckily the cars were all empty and I made a quick find. I was glad to be on my way before one of the owners spotted me poking around there. The log book was a little damp but dry enough to write on. Thanks for the cache romork!
Container had some water in it and the log book was very wet. We placed the items in the sun to dry whilst we had our picnic lunch in the car. Container dry and logbook a little dryer when we placed it in a new clip top bag and put it back in the container and replaced it in its good hiding spot. We love the smell of pine trees.

We were hoping to get to this cache in time to enjoy a coffee from the nearby cafe but we just missed out. Nice easy find, log was wet but we were able to write on it. TFTC romork!
I used to come to this cafe a lot when my sister worked this way. Was nice to be around here again. Nice and easy find however the log is very wet and I emptied the container of water. TFTC
There was no problem finding this cache and our name was soon added to the list of finders. All was in good condition and the container and contents were hidden again where they had been found before we left. Thank you to romork for placing this cache.
Took the geodaughter out caching to give the minister of domestic duties a few hours peace and quiet to get the house in order after xmas and boxing day festivities.
A nice and quick found cache here. Tnlnsl. Geodaughter was looking forward to a milkshake but with the cafe closed for xmas that will have to be something for another day! Cheers

TFTC romork. A recently dumped load of freshly mown grass and a muggle made this one a little bit more challenging to find. Jimmytherat with Noelle04.
Thanks Romork found with Jimmytherat on a fabulous spring arvo. Made a bit more difficult than needed to be as someone is using the base for a compost heap. Muggle biker didn't help either. Container wet but log dry.
Collected this on a nice quiet uni holiday after attending a workshop in the uni Library. Find 1311 at 27 September 2016 4:42 PM. Container saturated
As geohubby went off to collect this cache I noticed an increase in the traffic and cyclists. I think school has finished. It's going to add a whole new muggle dimension to the caching experience. TFTC
I had visited this cache before but was muggled out. I am glad to be able to claim a smilie for it this time round. tftc.
was good to find this one as fello cacher had been here before but had no luck due to muggles, but this time it was a success

I'm trying to do a "100 caches in a day" challenge. This was find #44. Unfortunately, this is also where the light failed me. Thanks heaps, Romork!
Took us some time .we kept going past it.
It was a bit of a prickly situation

A quick find in a less conspicuous spot than we'd feared. A few people at the cafe so didn't want to look too dodgy! TFTC
Arriving here Mrs. kalianda09 quickly discovered what we were looking for and did the honors of signing the log. Thanks romork
12:17:00 PM. A good driveby and no muggles today. Signed log and replaced in bag that was in container. Thanks romork for placing this cache.

By the time we'd made it to this cache, we were thirsty and as it was midday, we decided to check out the Krooze In Cafe for something to eat. An amazing place with good food, worth a stop if caching here.
We left the cache until after we'd eaten, as there were quite a few muggles both near the cache and cafe. It was all clear when we went to it and soon had it back in place.

A trip down to Ballarat, and after we had completed what we had do, including a bit of shopping, we decided to tackle the Symbol Series. We done it on foot starting at Mount Clear and enjoyed the walk along this path finding caches as went. Most of the finds on our journey were quick and easy and were a variation of hides.
Well this one didn't belong to the sign series but was on our way. Lucky for us the cafe was closed so it was a quick easy grab and off we continued with the series.

Another Day in Ballarat for my usually Doc Appointment, but today I was travelling with Tyred n Cranky.
after a bit shopping and having the arvo clear, we decided to finish off the Symbol Series as we had mad a couple of finds on it while the Road Cycling Nationals were on in Buninyong.
Started the walk from Mount Clear and made the first grab at 1555 H and got the Final of the series (21 caches later) at 1742 H
This one was a bit of a rogue amongst the trail. but was a quick grab as the café was closed when we wandered past.

Able to get out this evening to grab a couple of caches and regain my sanity, as the kids were driving me bonkers today! So some fresh air helped clear the head and make me feel a whole lot better. Now I am Kroozeing along.
Had lunch at a great cafe near by. while eating i loaded up my app and this was about 30meters from me. Found and logged. TFTC
So glad to see this one back up and running. Another to wipe off my Dnf list. Cigc. Tftc
I found this one months ago with Jenno3 and kenare but it wasn't until today that I was back here and able to log it as my find. Kenare said we could have icecream if we found it within 2 minutes. Winner! We found the cache and get icecream!! tftc
Found during a stop-over in Ballarat on our way to Melbourne for the week. Thanks for the cache romork!
We had avoided this one for a while thinking it was in a much more muggle prone location. Walking past and paying attention to the GPS showed this not to be the case. The cache was soon in hand. Thanks romork.
Day 2 camped at Creswick with Alansee and Team Crackers, we headed out to grab some caches.
We found a mixture of bike trails, walks and drive by's, which made a fun day.
Most caches were found after a short search, some a little trickier.
Many thanks for placing this cache, romork, for us and others to find.

We are on a road trip to attend "The Melbourne Event" Mega, taking our time to get there and on the return journey. Fortunately, there were lots of caches along the way to tempt us to stop for a while to smell the roses. This was one of those caches.
We had made our way to Ballarat to attend the GIFF Event and to spend a few days in the area before heading off to Melbourne. We found the cache easily enough and with our name in the log, we continued on our way.
Thank you romork for having placed the cache for everyone to enjoy

Morcs4 and us were spending the Cup weekend up in Ballarat as we'd heard how great your caches were. This series caught our eyes as it was close to our accommodation. I sent the kids in to find this one. A quick find, thanks romork.
After travelling here from other side of Melbourne with Vanessa&Aodh (for an overnight visit nearby and dedicated caching time), we excited to be doing the Symbol Series and this one was on the way on the path. The weather was drizzly so we used the car to jump between some on the caches and walked between others as we have 3 kids between 5-7yo. TFTC
Great little hide and not too hard to find.
Now off to do some more along the track.

The weather was warming up today and was really ideal with the lovely sunshine. Arriving at GZ the name became apparent, and being a public holiday meant that the area was totally deserted. It was then a quick dash in and sign of the log before I was on my way.
Thanks to romork for placing this cache.

While I was writing in the log, tasiedevil was hiding in the trees. Soon seeing a dog tasiedevil said hello to it and got a strange look from the owner
Find was made in perfect spring weather. Lovely to see so much bird life out today as well. TFTC sl.
Out on a lovely sunny day caching with Stashaa. A great series along the trail. TFTC romork.
Cache replaced and all ready to go again. Thanks to those reporting the DNF to flag an issue.
Caching day out with kazzacosmo, we came to do the symbol series, our idea was to find this one on our way past, we had no luck here either, nice prickly pine. Will be back another time, thanks.
I did get prickled and had a good look but couldn't find it
It was a busy time and plenty of muggles over at the shops so I didn't spend as much time as I would normally but on reading the note on the log perhaps it wasn't there after all.

Have had a report that cache is not at its home coordinates by a previous finder. Will get down there and confirm ASAP.
Heading up to Ballarat for the 15 year caching event with Jacko83 and couldn't resist grabbing a few on the way with some skilled parking we were able to make our way along the trail.
This was a fun trail.

There was a school cross country race happening and they all decided to stop near Gz
Earlier I passed this way and found a gaggle of school kids here. Well it happened that we passed this way again and the coast was clear. Found the cache out in the open. I put it back about a metre away in a logical place.
Nicely hidden...a great first geocache, look forward to exploring more with my students
