In the area so had another look today. CO has not responded to requests for maintenance
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Came here in March with WebblyWA & forgot to record my dnf. Had another look today with Pp1. Still no luck.
Searched for a while, but the troops were getting restless so we moved on. Sure it's there somewhere...
Being here at least 2 times but could not find it. We do not know where this cache could be hidden.
Cheers,
Nickag73

No luck here today. GPS cords had a GZ under a parked car, so not sure if that was the issue but searched the area in front of the car without any luck. Found lots of things here but no cache sadly.
Found quite quickly after eliminating other meagre possibilities. Log quite soggy but still able to write my details. Thanks merridale for the hide.
Found it easily as I knew what to look for. The log is very damp but I found a spot dry enough for my pen to write on. Thanks for the cache merridale.
Ha. Sneaky. Log was pretty flimsy so I just wrote over another faded name. Great cache Thank you!!
Thank you! Quick find here today. Log has seen better days. Part of it tried to escape down the street.
Logged on my way to work this morning. The log sheet was still slightly damp even though we have an oven for weather at the moment. I signed on the piece of paper that has been put in as a temporary log sheet. I did see the original log sheet too but it looks quite worse for wear.

Very nice cache. Very wet log though which is very badly torn. Couldn't sign it but I've attached a photo for proof.
This was a quick find today. Not as lucky the last time I was here. Sneaky hide too. TFTC
Looked here unsuccessfully earlier in the day, before moving on to some other caches in the area. PAF clue received, headed back here and of course it was right where we'd been looking, although obviously not well enough. Merry Christmas and TFTC
As it gets closer to the warm months, the mornings are getting "slightly" lighter meaning an opportunity to grab the odd cache before work.
A quick find here this morning. Log is wet and full and needs some work.
merridale I found your cache Substitute on 4/08/2015. This is my find #3508. TFTC.

Up in Perth today so couldn't go home without seeking out a cache or two, despite the weather looking somewhat intimidating.
Second last find for the day, and the rain has held off.
Spotted this one easily, however was only able to 'engrave' my name as the log was saturated and I was unable to replace it.
Thanks for the cache merridale.

After an epic fail here over a year ago thought I would give it another go while in the area. A much quicker find with experience under the belt TFTC
Very tricky. Lots of debris on the ground around the grass trees. Went round and round for ages before I finally found the right place.
Once AusLoron and I narrowed down GZ, I had a sudden moment of genius about where to look based on a similar (but not the same) cache camo I saw a couple of months ago. Great cache, +FP, thanks
Elrin and I were nearby finding a puzzle cache when... "Oh, there another cache just down the road, less than 200m... Should we...?" And of course, we should! GPS was a bit spotty in the area, but between us we agreed on a likely area. Fortunately, Elrin had seen one like this before so she had it in hand reasonably quickly, while I was still looking in more traditional or expected locations.
Have a favourite point from me for showing me a cache style I've never seen before!

Found the "target" once I reached the GZ but it was quite difficult to retrieve it. So I guess it wasn't the cache. After 5 mins of search I decided to have a look of the target again, I shoudn't have cut my nail yesterday lol. TFTC!
Having come across a couple of those before, this was pretty much an easy park and grab on a quiet morning. I have a theory about the hint though, but it is fairly obscure! Thank you for a great cache merridale.
Made us think but combining prior knowledge and it was found. What does the hint even mean?
We were about to give up and I went back to somewhere I'd already been and gave it another go. Lo and behold it was the cache all along. A nice pick me up on a bit of a crappy geocaching night.
Found! Second place to look but seen this style before so grabbed it and signed. Thanks!
I parked a little bit down the road, and walked up to this one. At first I was looking in the bush and thought I had found something that would make the perfect camo cache, but that wasn't it. It wasn't too long before I uncovered the real cache though.
Thanks for the hide merridale!
Thanks for the hide merridale!
Very well constructed cache... I wonder where I have seen this one before.!!
Cheers for an an unusual hide, have a Fav point.
Thanks.

Late afternoon run to pick up some caches and this one was quick find for me...TFTC
Well that is good fun in dark but dinner should be ready now so off to the in-laws for dinner TFTC
I've come across this type of cache once before.
Excellent cache.
Thanks merridale.
Fav from me.

Back here today with new eyes and a different perspective! I was sooo close last time! TFTCmerridale!
Came with my friend today, did not understand the hint or the name at all, but a very clever hide. TFTC merridale.
After walking from the Showgrounds and spending about 15 minutes looking on this hot day, I was pooped!
Spotted a bus stop so decided to catch bus home.
Then discovered it is a school bus only stop... So after recuperating a bit (and reading previous logs) I had another go, to no avail.
So set off to walk to Shenton park Station. Sad to end my bus & cache day with a DNF!
I'll be back another time, TFTH merridale!

Found in second once at GZ. Found a few like this before so kind of stood out Like others I have no idea how the hint links to the cache?!? TFTC.
Had a quick find here but couldn't for the life of me work out what the hint referred to lol

Out on another caching run with skippy 46 and her geodog Eevie. Not a bad day with 27 finds and a few DNFS. Most caches were found quite quickly with a few that took a bit of searching.
We found the cache quickly but i didnt understand the hint?? Good camo job, blends in well TFTC merridale

[:(!] Having nothing better to do today, so what better way of filling in day than to go caching on my bike, left at 8.30 am and was back at home by 6.00pm, arrived at GZ and the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

Fantastic day for geocaching. Grabbed geobuddy and headed north of the river to tackle the area west of the freeway - an area that I had previously all but cleaned out. CO's up here have been busy. My gz was sending me into a spot that I was hesitant about, but geobuddy dived right in. He ended up finding the cache in an unexpected spot. Thanks merridale
Was debating whether to do this one or not as there was a Taxi parked opposite GZ when we arrived. Worked out that they couldn't actually see GZ from where they were so did a quick search and found the cache without problems.
Thanks merridale for the cache.
Thanks merridale for the cache.
Found on my way home from the craft & wood fair at the showgrounds. I started by looking in all the wrong places, but then I remembered a cache I had found recently and I soon had it in hand. TFTC
Nice camo job. Found with iluvtrekking - the co-ords are spot on. Thanks merridale.
TFTC Found on a quick caching run after a day full of shopping. Great little camo here
Good hide and particularly tricky for this poor cacher tackling it at night without a torch. Good fun. Cheers
Very quiet area due to Sunday... Loved your camo - excellent one... Signed the log at 12:05... The weather isn't nice today but nothing stop me.... Thanks merridale.
Well a cache that is about 110 m from my office desk calls for a special trip. I made two. Skipping morning tea on he first day of publication, I came and stood at GZ with Fiona and then we noticed someone sitting in a car behind us. Today after work we popped over for a two minute visit to find and log the cache, finding a little trail between our office and the car park to this cache. Should have sent Fi out as soon as it was published! TFTC!
Had to break short a post-ride, post-coffee chat in West Perth to scramble across to this one - my muggle mate is getting used to this strangeness. First on the scene but not first to find, alas. I looked straight past the camo very early on , well played merridale! TFTC and congrats geologyboy.
Quick park and grab on the way to work this morning. #1997 for me as I inch my way to 2000 finds during a very 'time poor' period for me. SL TFTC.
Rode past 20 minutes after publication this morning; things were already mighty busy with cachers at GZ so I stopped past and logged the find at 1pm on the way home. Thanks for the cache merridale.
