Found it but someone has deliberately vandalised the cache by filling it with shells and sea water. Didn't write in log. Maintenance required
Arrived waaaay to early to go on a cruise, so decided to see what geochaches were in the area. Nice easy find. Thanks
After a lot of up and down, back and forth and round n round, just as I was about to give up and go home I found it! I was on a whole nother level haha the wrong level. Level up!
Glad there were 4 sets of eyes to help look for this one. Cache needs replacement as all that’s left is a tiny bit of the log book in a broken plastic bag.

Found but in terrible state, even worse than the photo below wasn't even able to sign log book
On our way to Whangarei did a detour

Found it! Took a little while had to slow down and look properly. Excited to find more now
Had a great visit to kawau island today and picked this one up driving out. TFTC
Dropped a TB off here after a few Kms on the road, hopefully someone finds it soon and sends it on its way.
Headed to Sandspit to see what it was all about ans potted this option as we left the area. A quick pull in and soon had the cache in hand, and extracted the resident TB.
Weekend is here and keen to get away for a quick local-ish visit and Warkworth and Sandspit area were the choices. Not too many finds but plenty of awesome scenery and new experiences.

I had such a good fix on one tree that I looked there quite a bit before I moved to a second tree and found the cache. TFTC.
I'm caching with my young friend Aiden29, she and I are about to head over to Kawau Island and have a very fun day with 6 others. This our last cache before meeting up with the others. We headed down the path between the 2 'hills', before we realised we needed to be higher than we were. So we ascended from where we were and it took seconds after that before the cache was spotted. We're happy with that! Now back to the car and dah de dah de dah.
A group of us were heading over to Kawau Island for the day, but seeing as there were a lot of new caches in Warkworth I was planning on heading up early to find them before we had to catch the ferry over to the island. Gorby asked if he could come with me and I convinced him that I would be leaving at 7am. It was a nice quiet drive up and we had plenty of time to find all the caches in the area and arrive in time to meet the ferry.
Initially approached this from the wrong height, but then realised the error in our way and soon had the cache in hand.

Thank you . Giving GPS time to settle definitely helps! A passing geocacher helped us know we were on the right track!
Nice find, added my army figurine calling card, however the trackable was missing from the cache
Great cache. Have been by a million times and had no idea there was a reserve there.
Friends had taken the ferry to the island for a week before we arrived to stay with them in Castor Bay. Staying now in Snells Beach for a night we drove to see where the boats do go from. No trip for us this time but maybe next time as it sounded fun. We found the cache on the way in in the first place checked. Great when that happens.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Quick find here on a day that mostly seemed to present problems. Cache all good, TFTC.
A ride out in the car and a few walks in new places today collecting caches. On our way home now but still time for one more cache so stopped off here and made a quick find.A beautiful place.
It’s Easter Sunday and while the intention was to take Mother-in-law out for the day, *there’s nothing open!*
So as a surprise for Mum we’ve driven up here to visit the other daughter and son-in-law who live on the hill above GZ. SURPRISINGLY no traffic to delay the journey and in fact a lovely drive. And the threatened rain has stayed away.
Realised as I signed the log, I believe this cache is the furthest-most North NZ cache I’ve ever found! Dropped off a TB appropriate to the location.

I was heading back home with Elex2 after a girls' night in Sandspit and today and this was on the way home so I parked just down the road and we headed up the hill. Gps spun around a bit under the tree cover but once our phones settled down it didn't take too long to make the find
Came here after taking the all day boat trip from the wharf.
Nice quick find in the dusk. All good here. Lovely place.

Parked up just down the road in the side parking area - Made our way back to the reserve. Cache quickly located here. Took TB. Signed and replaced cache. TFTC.
Was just about to give up when we found this one. We were lucky enough to stay nearby for a couple of nights and enjoyed our time here. TTFC!

I find my failure rate increases dramatically when I don't bring my youngsters with me. The morning wasn't a complete disaster though, as I got to visit the fabulous Brick Bay Sculpture Trail. What a national treasure.
We were staying at the local campground, so I decided to come for a walk back up the road to check out this cache. Nice quick find and great views with the tide almost all the way in. Dropped off TB, TFTC
Off on a mission today, to get enough numbers in September for my one hundred in every month challenge. With not many unfound local caches available, a trip south was called for and I hoped to combine it with an exercise training jaunt for the upcoming Taupo Ultra.
I stopped off in Warkworth to look for a few to start the day, and after getting most of those, headed out here to the Matakana Cycle trail for the start of my real exercise. It was extremely busy in Matakana today with the market day on, but I managed to find a parking spot near the start of the trail.
After jogging / walking the whole trail and finding most of them, I headed down here to look for a few extra. It's amazing that despite living in Northland all my life, I have never actually been here before and that's one of the great things I like about geocaching. Got a park nice and close and made my way out into the reserve it and it wasn't long before the cache was in hand. Signed the log and then replaced safe and secure as found. TFTC

Parking became an issue for us, but then after a small walk it seemed that we had a spot very close to GZ had we seen it. Cache was quickly found and in good condition. TFTC
A nice find to finish off the sandspit three. Cute wee reserve. Thanks for the cache.
Poked sticks in a lot of holes before finding this. If you get to the rubbish bin you've gone to far.
We were with gernita on this one. Four of us looking and we did not come up with the goods. Looked in all the holes we could find.
