This one has lasted 6 years! I'm freeing up the space for a new cache.
Thanks to all the finders.

Visited twice - the second time after reading all the logs for spoilers - did not find. Will monitor for log updates
I love how Christchurch has so many little parks, let alone the foresight to have "saved" Hagley Park from becoming housing or carparking. We were near here for football today, although I see also near where Canterbury Hockey is residing. TFTC SL.
Quick find. Felt a bit exposed to muggle eyes behind net curtains? Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent aka TB (prev known as BJ25). Find # 1745
Morning sport nearby so checked out the cache location. All quite and nicely tucked away. TFTC

On an evening bicycle ride.
Could not believe how easy it was to find this one. I had been here once before and became quite frustrated at it. I was taken further down the fence by GPS back then and was looking in all the wrong gaps.
This time, GPS took me straight to the part of the fence closer to the road and the cache was just there!

Bryce's find. Was within a few meters of my bed all night. Recommend the motel next door.
Despite all the warnings about a busy park it was totally deserted and cache was quickly found. TFTC
Not keen on caching on my own in parks in the dark but thankfully this was a nice quick find. TFTC # 1,661
Down from Blenheim for the weekend, and Sunday was visiting day. Jo has a friend who lives down this street, so before popping in we grabbed this cache. There are at least two gaps in the fence very close together, we got this in the first one we looked at. Thanks sharkiefan.

Finding park was easy and the park was deserted. It was almost 11pm, after all. But couldn't find the cache anywhere. There was a gap in the fence right at GZ, I searched around it multiple times, nothing.

So much rain! The cache was tucked away relatively dry despite the park being more of a pond than a playground. Tftc!
Found it tucked away exactly where gps said.
Geokids were picking plums from the tree at the other end of the fence.

Quick easy find on my way past heading to work. At 6am there no one around so had the place to my self. I could see how this could be tricky later in the day. Thanks for the cool cache.
On another great road trip with tmann421 checking out the sights and caches of Christchurch.
A quick find thanks to the hint. TFTC

Yep wet log but managed to sign. Stealthy walk thru leaves as there were muggles directly over the fence. Nice different park hide. Tftc
Good job the grass was not long because it was a very early and chilly morning and I was wearing jandals. Quick find. TFTC
In town for meetings at Foodstuffs so popped down the road for a good find.
A good little cache when I found it, it was only a bag with the log, when I went to put it back I found the rest of the container, I think it may be broken, I think CO might need to check it. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
Didn't have a pen but great sneaky spot. Had to use my partner's hands and boy just eyes. First of 2016!
Plenty of parking at 6am, and no kids around Just as well, as I was doing the cacher's walk for a while before getting to the right spot! TFTC!!
Out for some Mega caching with Rhyssa6, Dutchie1950 and TriciaC2 today.. Saw some beautiful countryside today and had a blast caching. Great to have a few sets of eyes for the tricky ones. Lots of work gone into these! Thank you %owner for placing and maintaining this cache.
Out on a caching day with Dutchie1950, Rhyssa6 and The Green Gheckos. Great day. TFTC.
# 1044 – Another day out with The Green Geckos, Rhyssa6 and Triciac2 after the weekend Mega in Christchurch. Trying to collect the second part of the Horses 101 series and many more smileys before we go home to OZ.
Our second day of ‘horsing around’ and the sun is out. Hooray! Caching with dry feet...
Picked a cache or two or so outside the Horses trail, and this was one of them.

Holidaying in Christchurch after the mega with Dutchie1950 and Triciac2. Out with The Green Geckos again today to finish what we could of the Horses puzzle series.
Having done that we're now just collecting some random caches in the area. This one was just because we happened to be driving past nearby.

Here for MEGA 2015. Found with The Seagnoid. Another couple of geocachers arrived. Suddenly this quiet park was quite busy! TFTC
Spotted The Seagnoid and Edvern arriving at GZ, and they were oblivious to us creeping up on them - very funny. Our first cache-find of the day, and very close to our Motel for the duration of the 2015 MEGA. Decided to stretch the legs and find the closest cache to our accommodation - had just been thinking - " very unlikely to see any other cachers out this way", but isn't that always the way.
Edvern incredibly enthusiastic and had cache to hand while we were still chatting with the Seagnoid.
A great wat to start our MEGA experience.

Last time I looked it was after midnight and below zero. Brr! (& DNF). This time it was no trouble after letting the GPS signal settle. A good start to my afternoon (6 caches and an event today - Hi Sharkiefan!) TFTC
TFTG Really tiny I wanted to put something in there lol never mind that was awesome
Found it with Gourdie. Brisk late night to be caching but you can only sit and appreciate a fire for so long before you feel adventurous.
I was over this way for a meeting. Always time for a sneaky cache on the way home. TFTC
Yep, park was deserted luckily for me, so probs. finding the cache. A cute wee reserve.

This cache was one of 350 found on a short trip back to New Zealand, which was principally organised so that I could attend my Great Grandmother's 100th birthday.
I have a great time and enjoyed a great variety of caches, most of which were new (ie published in the past couple of years ).
Thanks for all the great caches.

Have passed this cache many times so today was the day! Found quickly despite the muggle workman across the road. TFTC
We had been out and about for a while, but did not feel the need to use the portaloo.
Our cache for the day and left home just after a power outage made up our mind what time we would go looking for a cache. Bit of a search until we decided to feel around a bit rather than just look at likely spots then it was easily to hand. TFTC
