Thought it would be in one of the posts with the plastic caps. But it was not there!
In this area with my daughter, so a quick stop and grab while no-one was around. Neat wee park. Found, signed and returned. Thanks for the cache.
I had brought the right tool, but previous finder had replaced the wrong way around so if didn't help me. Managed to get out using an improvised tool. Junior cacher loved the school playground on the way back to the car. Tftc!
found it exactly where i expected it. used the tool every cacher has in its pocket.... nice and easy. thanks for the box
Couple of hours to spare before an appointment in this part of the city so a perfect time to collect a few smiley faces. TFTC
When I arrived at GZ I found the cache lying on the ground. Everything seemed to be in good order so I signed the log and put the cache in the likely hiding place. Tftc.
#2,425: Nighttime Smiley!
I came to this one after a find, then a DNF on a multi. It was pretty dark when I got to GZ, but I was able to make a quick find, then pluck the prize from its hidey hole with a local "tool". All in good shape!

Cool little hide. Thought I couldn't pull it out but saw second extraction option.
Another great find with Just-Lookin, while around the Christchurch area for the Mega.
Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of this trip.

A trip down here at short notice to provide some assistance to a rep for a presentation to do, so another opportunity to collect a few caches in the area that will assist me with the DGSc Challenge that I feel I am working my way through so slowly.
So on arrival it was grab a car the evening before (good of work to cover the cost this time), finish the days work and begin on another hunt
Last chance to grab a few before breakfast as there won't be time later on in the day
In the dark I had the place all too myself
Thanks for the chance of another smilie.
thanks for the placement and the fun of the chase

tftc. nice and easy. just coming throw the area and getting a thew caches.
We were over this side cleaning up a few trads before heading home. A nice quick find as thankully the place was deserted. We have never seen this sort of container this small. Did you modify it? Thanks for the cache
In Christchurch for work stuff but with spare time today to go and find a few caches. A clever hide here. Didn't take too long to find it though and I was able to extract the cache without any problems. TFTC, Biggles.
#999. Supposed to pick something up from friends nearby. They weren't home so I fired up the app and got this one. Tftc
I had to have a wee think about the retrieval on this one, then after a moment or two the cache was in my hands. TFTC.Cheers Bo
Took a wee while to focus at this cache. But then I got my eye in. A straightforward find. Decoy dog enjoyed the area.
In Christchurch for the night after a long flight from San Diego. We walked over to a restaurant in the shopping complex and then decided to find a cache. We entered from the north side and had to go through the school to get to the park. Nobody was around so I think it was alright! We made quick work of the cache after that, but a nice hide! There was a father and son playing cricket in the park, fun to watch! Cheers from California and TFTC.
A nice quick find, sign and return just before some children came to play on the swings nearby. TFTC.
Sneaky wee hide. No one around tonight, very quiet, but a lovely clear night for a walk. TFTC
After dropping someone off at the airport I visited a favorite quilt shop then wandered accross the school grounds to grap this cache...quickly found in its hiding spot.TFTC
A flying visit to Christchurch for the Flower Show and just enough time to drop into this neighbourhood park for a quick find.

TFTC. Over this side of town fairly early this morning and so hopeful not to meet any school pupils walking through the park to the nearby school. All was good.
Initially I was mislead by the hint, but quickly realised my mistake. Nice hide, I appreciated the suggestion of bringing tools with me.
Thanks CatMad for placing the cache.

Yes, cycling to work is very beneficial to my health - and to my wallet, but it can be a pain when one needs to go out to Avonhead to pick up a birthday present, that gives you not much time to get out there, or back, and you have to try somehow take it back in your bag, without getting it all sweaty...
But it is also good when I can then cycle out to a cache this far from home for my daily find, being able to then leave the closer ones for another time! Yay! Forced exercise!
This was one of the closest reasonable looking ones, and the one I decided to stop for.
Cut through the school, and yes! I arrived to an empty park!!
Didn't stay empty for long, but didn't take me long to find the cache!
Hint threw me off heaps, and I was starting to get a bit concerned that I didn't have correct tools on me... but not an issue, managed to retrieve easily anyways!

A nice easy find for us while on holiday in NZ. Thankfully I read the hint before we got to GZ. TFTC CatMad
Filling in time before picking up StreetWalker from his office, decided to look for a few caches that I knew he had already found (I don't want his tally getting too far ahead of mine) and this was number 2. Parked on Merrin St and walked through the school to find the area here deserted. Excellent.
After checking the obvious feature, spotted something interesting which yielded the cache. Nicely tucked away. TFTC.

#6904. Managed to DNF this on back in June on a lunch time walk from work. GZ was infested with school kid muggles having their lunch break, which made searching very hard. Now that teh school kids are on holiday, it seemed like a good time for a return visit. It was pretty quiet at GZ and I spotted the new cache location immediately. It took a bit of effort to winkle it out. Once the paper work was done, I took a short cut through the school grounds to take a more direct route back to work. TFTC.
Freaky, my first DNF of our trip, and turned out to be our last find of the trip
Found this good hide at the edge of my kid's school within about 5 seconds! Was able to retrieve with my long fingers. Now a favorite, as I love this school, and its awesome staff
Quick easy find early in the morning. Not sure whether this would be the best cache during the school week 8-4 but at 6am all was well. Thanks for the hide.
Quick find TFTC (1062)

Found just as one of mine was published. Glad for the note about bringing a tool! Cheers CatMad.
Found it lying on the ground. Signed and replaced in what we thought was a likely spot. TFTC
Found. To be fair the clue had put me off a bit - was about to give up when I went back for one last try and found it. Thanks
1016 - Today seemed a good day to stop by and find this after the nearby event. I hadn't brought the tool out of the car and so although I could see the cache I couldn't get it. After a while I headed back and thought Oh well, I'll try again when it's not drizzling. As I pulled away Ridders76 turned up too. Parked again and thought I may as well take the tool out of my boot this time. Got to GZ and once they had seen where the cache was too, then they noticed something I'd missed but tool was still very useful for retrieval. Happy to have signed off in yet another Avonhead Park
After a DNF last time because the cache was re-homed, I went back here today before the event, and the cache was in the exact place I figured it would be. Thanks for the cache.
Trotted and over and Jacob soon had the cache in his hand after Justmeg have it a poke.
I had a puzzle cache I wanted to find for todays souvenir but it was a DNF. This one was on my way home. Thanks for a quick find. Nicely hidden.
Been busy all day on home DIY. It was getting late so I better use my reserve cache for my cache of the day. It was going to be easy, big mistake. Looked in the obvious places and still empty handed, thought it might be muggle again so contacted the CO who gave me a big hint. Happy to report cache is safe and sound, a clever hide.
Cache is now metallic and in the same place but may require special tool to remove. Please put back well out of sight of mini muggles.
Cache has been muggled ... but CatMad is on the case. A new improved version will be in place very soon.
Sadly we spent far too long looking in all the obvious places. Will keep a watch out to see if it is found.
5267. Parked in a quiet side street only 70m from the cache. Found the container straight away in spite of the very clever hide. Very nice! Thanks, Rodney and Iris.
Drove to this cache after the event this morning. Nice quick find in the 2nd place I looked. T4TC
Found in the first place Little G looked - raced back to the car to get out of the rain LGM
On my way to a family dinner around the corner from here - not such a quick find - I was looking in all of the wrong places - don't you hate that when all the logs say "quick/ easy find"... Anyway, got there in the end. TFTC.

Beautiful weather to get out caching and catch up on some chores and friends. A quick find here. Nicely hidden. TFTC.

As directed kept this cache for a dot day - after dark - on day 285 of a cache-a-day.... and it was last traditional left within 10km of home or work or the route between. Yesterday it took 90mins to get a cache on the way home in the rain... so today I went for the easy option. I may regret this choice tomorrow if the predicted snow arrives. Still even with an easy find it was a tidy hide. TFTC.
A very quick find, best done at the end of the school day. A neat little hide. Thanks.
So had to go and pick up daughter child after football practice at school, so my son and I joined with our dog decided to venture to this cache, found it lying on the ground, but noticed a hide that was a perfect fit for the cache. signed the log and after my son having a play on the swings and slide, then of course me having a go on the slide too it was off to get the girl child. On a cross town detour on the way to nephews birthday party. Nice bit of late afternoon sun. Had to walk slow and wait for a midget muggle and dad to move on.....quickly cornered the nice wee cache. Cheers.
Went for a walk at lunch time with a workmate to see if I could drop off some TBs I'd brought down from Wellington. Our timing was bad as it was lunch time, and the kiddie muggle factor was just too high, with the swings next to GZ a popular spot. Had a bit of a look, but in the end we retreated without locating the cache.
