My first solo caching trip. A long one down the entire length of the Sturt Highway. TFTC
Spending a few days in Renmark and spending some time caching as well. Quick find. TFTC.
Found while heading out to Renmark and surrounds to do some caching along the Wandering Hero's Series and to see what other interesting sights we can find. TFTC
Nice quick grab to help redeem my slack caching efforts so far today. TFTC #586
We visit Swan Hill, Mildura, Renmark, Barossa Valley, Victor Harbour, Tailem Bend and the last night at Ballarat. Stopped for few caches on the way. We had a lot of fun travelling these roads and seeing the farms and wildlife along the way. We found a range of caches. Many thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches.
Today saw us firstly finding a few caches around Renmark before we headed east to Mildura - our next port of call as we make our way from Adelaide to Canberra. Also collected most of the caches along the Sturt Highway. Thanks to the COs for the placement of the caches - it is much appreciated.
Travelling from Renmark to Mildura today and caching along the highway and roads. Found the cache and signed the log. TFTC
After a week of caching around Adelaide incorporating The Great Leap Forward event, HansandLinda, MeandDe and I are working our way towards Canberra for the Easter Capital GeoBash Mega. At Paringa for a couple of days of rest and maintenance although we did have a couple of targeted caches at MacCabes Corner today. After a great day, we settled in for sundown drinks and nibbles which is always enjoyable at the end of a good day, only it turns out it wasnt the end a caching for the day. Diligent Deana discovered a sought after D/T rating along the SA/Vic border trail. Luckily, I was enjoying another AFD, so a tad before 1900hrs, 3 of us made the dash. It was never going to be a quick trip as there were about a dozen other caches on route. We grabbed this one along the way. Another great day for caching. TFTC Trigger_Fish
Sitting around discussing puzzles and D/T and LGA and I realised that there was a D/T nearby we needed to help us along to our 9th loop. I discussed with M the possibility of a late afternoon excursion since it was less than 1/2 an hour away but then Wollaston realised he needed it too. HansandLinda are always keen to find just a few more so I left M behind and we headed out in Wollastons' vehicle to grab just a few more finds for the day. Thanks for find #5773TNLN
In June 2019 I had to log this as a DNF as there was a muggle truck an a caravan parked at GZ. Today only one caravan in the area but a long way away so I was able to change my blue frown into a golden smile. Great as I don't like blue frowns cluttering up my finds map. Thank you Trigger Fish for placing and maintaining this cache.
TFTC Trigger_Fish your cache Say Hello to SA #4 that we found today. After spending the last 3 weeks in and around Shepparton we are now on the move , heading to Yorke Peninsula. Staying in Renmark for a short holiday, using caching as a guide as to where we travel. 41 caches were found along and around the state border. This cache is one that was found today.
Another quick find just off the highway. All good here.
Find #4275 on 18 Jul 2022.

Heading to the quarantine line up after a quick run to the border and back so I could grab my 1st interstate cache.
No fruit or veg on board although sometimes I can be a bit of a fruit loop and some Sundays a couch potato
After a most relaxing couple of days on the Proud Mary cruising on the river, it was time to track down some caches. But first an overnight stay in Karoonda to recharge for an early start and then head off on another adventure.
The plan is to grab caches in the last few LGA for me to complete that challenge.

Found during a road trip via Wentworth, Menindie Lakes, Wilcannia, Cobar, Bourke and Cunnamulla to Charleville and back over 10 days, camping out at some great spots along the way. Met up with e.gregory1 at Bourke and we spent the next four days caching around Cunnamulla and out to Eulo, Yowah and Charleville, before e.gregory headed up to Townsville and I made my way southwards towards home. I camped out next to the Murray at Merbein Common last night and spent the morning caching around Mildura before heading home on the last day of the trip. Thanks for the cache Trigger_Fish!
We remember when this little series was published - was it really that long ago [?].
Finally made it here to claim our find, less the one that's been archived [B)].

Thanks for another one Moneydork.

Day 6: SA/Vic Christmas holiday trip
Last Christmas holidays, fitzy_1965 and I (along with two geo-kids, Death Killer & my_name_jeff_1) headed to SA to visit family whilst we could, and to collect as many counties and caches as possible along the way. We decided even before getting home that we needed to go back. The added incentive of more On You Bike series sealed the deal. Fast forward through 2021 (because who wants to remember that), and here we are again. This time with extra company in the form of Sol de lune, Smittengranny and albida33.
After an exhausting 5 days in the SA heat, we made the decision to pack up a day early and head back across the border to do the Paddle Steamer series…..and to air conditioned accommodation instead of continuing to camp in tents! We said goodbye to Albida33 who was staying a few more days in SA. Caching along the way, we headed for the series straight up before continuing to our hotel…. Ah luxury!
All caches were signed as FMSS and were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

26,225. Found with minniek, Sol de Lune and Smittengranny during our post Christmas / New Year trip over to South Australia and Victoria to tackle the On Your Bike and Paddle Steamer series among many other caches.
Today we started by heading to the Mildura region to start the Paddle Steamer, and grabbed several others along the way. Signed as FMSS. This was another long hot day.
When minniek and I were in South Australia in January this year (2021) doing the On Your Bike series of (then) 100 Wherigo caches, we were talking to the CO who mentioned that a whole lot more were soon to be published, and they were - 512 more ! So once back home we set about solving all those new ones which was at least something to do during 'stay at home' orders effecting us. Then once they were all solved we planned a trip over to grab them. Then just to add to the fun the latest 152 were published just in time for us to spend time solving them all so we could get the whole set. With our caching friends Sol de Lune, Smittengranny and albida33 this series was our main aim, but with the 'Around the World in 81 caches' series, various solved puzzles and the Paddle Steamer as standby if we got the time.
We managed some BIG days caching and finished off the On Your Bike series in three days, then attempted the mammoth 'Around the World in 81 caches' series and some lovely high/rare D/T caches - all in searing summer heat peaking at over 40 degrees ! Once they were finally completed we headed over to the Mildura region for another two blistering hot days doing the Paddle Steamer series. After camping for five nights we finally relented and got hotel rooms for the last two nights and worked the air conditioning to the bone.
All in all an amazingly fun time was had, and we have all made room in our calendars for when the next part of the On Your Bike series is published - no pressure ! Highlights included many of the fun tree climbs, the pole caches which increased our skills at the recovery and replacements of those styled caches, and the relaxed times and banter around the camp site at the end of each tiring day - including New Years Eve !
Thanks to all the COs for contributing their caches to our fun times, and I must apologise for the generic logs as we did find well over one thousand caches which now require logging !

A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA.
With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
The group grew from two to six quickly after having a chat to GoodLook about our plans.
Our team “The Mob” now consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers and ourselves and FeatherTop joined us on day 4. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book.
All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
Day 4 it was time to head to Loxton to start on the On Your Bike trail. All puzzles in this series were solved prior to the trip.
This cache was found on our journey from Red Cliffs to Loxton.
It seems some of the teams had already signed this one on previous trip but those of us that hadn't made the quick find and sign before moving on.
Thanks for the hide Moneydork and for the fun "The Mob"

Day 1 in the area, with the main target being the bike series.
This cache was on our way, and we found it hard to resist the stop.
We stamped the log as 'The Mob' to save space and time.
'The Mob' this time included:- GoodLook, LíB, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, feathertop
and ourselves.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Trigger_Fish, for us and others to find.

After an event at Rocket Lake yesterday we camped there overnight and then cached our way through Murray Sunset. With some of the vehicles low on fuel we aired up our tyres and headed down the blacktop to Yamba.
Stopping to grab these caches after saying hello to SA on our way back to the Border Track
Thanks Trigger Fish

Just logging the Aussie wave. Full work out today.. As usual in droves TYFTC SLTNLN not doing the others cos I'm supposed to be somewhere else and had to drop off some fruit to the keeper!!
Great weekend away in Mildura and surrounds grabbing some fantastic caches and catching up with friends. Drank way too much and felt very ropey all day on Sunday but woke up feeling revitalised for a Public Holiday Monday drive back to Adelaide.
This trip hasn't been about numbers its been about finding quality over quantity and was also great to come away with 7 multi finds as well towards our target of 500, whether we get there this year remains to be seen. Gave away a lot of favourite points here in Mildura some very good caching to be done here and hardly a mint tin in sight.
Saw one brown snake today which gave me the heebie jeebies at least I didn't step on one this time.
We stopped here for an early lunch so we could eat up all our tomatoes. Lots of people stopped to use the bins and once again I wondered why there has been no effort to install some toilets here, it is just one big toilet bowl. TFTC Moneydork.

Had breakfast at a geocaching event in NSW and picked up a handful of caches in Vic before grabbing the one on the SA border line and another across the road back in Victoria.
After picking up these "Say Hello.." caches, the plan is to have lunch in SA (another geocaching event) before heading up the border track doing caches in both SA and Vic and see if we can't find MacCabe Corner where all 3 states meet before heading back to the last event....dinner in Victoria. [:o]
Planning on having a memorable times.
