On our way to BH so it was 400 From for us. This was our last in the series that we started many years ago. These caches are a great way to break the long distances... it's going to be a long dry cacheless run next time.... TFTC farmer--brown.

A Leap Year Mega draws us to Adelaide. Today's our intrepid group has our 5th full day of caching. We are using the Acronym 5 for QLD to sign the log sheets. Most of the caches this day were nice quick finds. Well getting closer, anyway. And so happily I say that the logs were signed and caches replaced as found on this day, 25th February 2024. TFTC, farmer--brown.
Heading to SA for the Mega event with geo friends and zigzagging our way around the countryside to grab a few LGA's and some targeted caches for a challenge or two. Staying at some lovely country towns and enjoying the local history in each place we ventured. To save space on log sheets, we used our team name of 5 for QLD.Most caches found were in good condition and a credit to the owners who have been maintaining them.Thank you for placing this cache for our benefit and enjoyment.

Freddo and Team Waldron headed to warmer climes around Broken Hill, Cobar, Bourke, Cunnamulla
and Charleville.
After a cold start in Broken Hill the weather improved once we got further north. Sadly our last night in Broken was wet which, pardon the pun, put a dampener on things.
All up it was a great week away and lots of caches were found with only 3 dnfs.
Thanks to all who placed and maintained their caches. The occasional cache was damaged and we refurbished it and we also left new logbooks as required.
Onward toward Cobar.

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Our first night cache and glad it was an easy one. Returning from White Cliffs Gymkhana and Rodeo over the weekend. Thanks for placing and maintaining this simple drive-by cache. ️
First cache of the day, heading for Cobar. A driveby you could almost grab just by opening the door.
Touring with @trodectus , this cache was on our list heading for Broken Hill. It was a quick find once at GZ. Log signed and returned. Last one for the day. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000 while driving to Broken Hill, this was the last we did today. We stopped nearby, walked to GZ and soon had CIH. Log signed and all replaced and we walked back to the car and continued on our way. TFTC.
Found during my one-month adventure in Australia. In the process of logging my finds months later, my goal is to log my 50+ outstanding logs before the end of the year! ??
We continued today our tour in NewSouthWales, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to farmer--brown for the generation of this nice cache 400 To (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Together with my son, I am on a camping trip from Sydney to Broken Hill and back. On our 3000 km journey over 11 days we have seen some wonderful little towns, beautiful landscapes and many interesting geocaches.
The next leg of our travels: Cobar to Broken Hill. Of course we used geocaches to stop for a stretch of the ol' legs.

Found it standing up with the lid laying nearby. I signed and replaced and surrounded it with a few rocks so it shouldn’t get knocked around too easily. I did see a brand new blue spray paint line right beside the sign so keep an eye for council/ roadworks here in future. My name Was second on the new sheet
Keeping our streak of ‘…to’ caches going. Another quick one but great to engage in the hunt to while the time away while driving. TFTC
Had to pull over a little before this one but it was where we thought it would be. Well done to the small one who is picking them up quickly on our big trip.
We’re loving being on the road again after so long loving in lockdown.

Leaving Broken Hill to stay overnight in a campground in Wilcannia. This was a quick grab which is good as it was starting to get dark.
Another early start from Broken Hill for our caching trip with Wilbert67.
Trip so far has been quiet good except the COVID-19 that made us do a trip diversion.
Now travelling to Cobar and picking up caches along the way.
Thanks to all the COs for the placements of their hides.

Day 7 of our road trip already, today we leaving Broken Hill for a long drive to Dubbo. Not that many caches on the way and that's good, because 40° does not make good caching weather!

Stopped in here as part of our Great Western County Hunt. It has been a truly incredible trip, as I managed to pick up the last four counties I needed to fill in my NSW county map. A super exciting thing to complete. Thanks for enabling our crazy adventures. Thanks for the cache.

Headed out on a 10-day trip to outback NSW with fitzy_1965 and albida33.

West New South Wales trip 2020. Day 3. I was joined by MinnieK and Fitzy_1965 for a trip planned to go from Goulburn to Forbes, Nyngen, Cobar, Broken Hill, Wentworth and Balranald. Today we left Cobar having found all the local caches yesterday. It was a long straight drive to Broken Hill with a few caches scatterd along the way, plus a dual multi in Wilcannia along with a short sharp outback rainshower. We ended the day with an evening tour of Earthcaches around Broken Hill.
Along the road to Broken hill we made several road side stops for caches, some at decorated trees.
Thanks for the cache farmer--brown

Time for a little trip in to the outback of New South Wales. A bit of a holiday and if you are on a holiday you cannot drive past a cache without collection some on the way. I had my Geo Chauffer driving me around to collect some cache.
Still going, 400 down not far to go, a quick drive by find in good condition, no problems here.
We found the cache, signed the log, replaced it back in its little hiddy hole, then on with our adventure to find the next one. Now we have logged it.
Thanks for placing the cache her guys. LilDonna

After 2 hours in S.A, we heard they were going to close the border of S.A because of the Corona Virus. With the conditions worsening we decided that it was time to for us to turn back towards home in NSW.
Stopped at Cobar for a rest stop, We managed to find a couple of caches with the Snakepitters.
