Archiving this one due to maintenance issues. Thanks to all who found it. I might reinvent a better hide in this nice area in the future.

Found the container sadly it was empty.

Seems this one got muggled. Disabling til I can get up there for a look.

Found together with Kinkell1 on our way back from Talbot to Ballarat. GPSr was jumpy under the trees, so we decided to look for the cache in an obvious spot. Yep, right. Sometimes cache sense makes more sense than satellites!
This area is in dire need of a CITO event! We did not see any wildlife but noted lots of discarded traces of human civilisation

After a bit of a bush bash the cache was quickly found. Pity those using the truck parking area can't keep it clean. Next CITO event could start from here! Found with Emily63 and geokids.

A quick find today, also saw a couple of machines that looked a bit like cherry-pickers, using the rail tracks and tooting as they went past. Haven't seen these down our way so none of us knew what they were! You sure see some interesting things when you're out and about caching! Thanks for the cache SL TNLN

Thanks for this quick drive by I needed a rest stop on the way home from Union Mine cache if you catch my drift.

Visited friends in Maryborough for lunch with sulkybear and the geokids (age 3 & 5) so picked up a few caches on the way there and back. Nice easy find. Thanks

We came to Wedderburn for the 2 events and stayed a couple of nights to make the most of the weekend caching time.

Nice hide, just around the corner from our in-laws. Visited 4 months ago with geohubby & geokids, returned to log it myself. Peaceful bush spot between road & train tracks.

Sully and I had now loaded on the caravan after our weekend in St Arnaud and werre winding our way home again to Ballarat. This was our last for the day, and a nice quick find with the headtorches before finally calling it a day, after saying, "Just one more" too many times.

Last find of the weekend for Bogonhazy and I in the dark and dampness. A short walk to GZ from the car, and it was BH who spotted this one first. Back to the car, and no more stopping for caches. I'm hungry. Thanks to Fergzter for the cache.

GPS had us circling in on this GZ after initially stopping at closest proximity to the waypoint and driving off my mistake. Quick to locate in the bush once on foot and with clue helping too. Logged in presence of geokids and crazycatwoman. TNLN, TFTC Fergzter.

Had some time in Clunes before heading back to Melbourne. Looked in bookshops, had a coffee and a pie. Still had some time to kill so jumped on the bike to look at the local caches. A quick ride out to here and I was glad I had changed my thongs for my bike shoes on this terrain! A short walk and I had the cache in hand. Thanks for the hide Fergzter (I feel as I have been stalking you today!).

I must admit I didnt see the offensive language when I checked the logsheet. I will definatly replace the log next time I am driving past.

Nice handy lay by to park geo car . Had to keep an eye open for snakes, non today, but saw an amazing amount of road side rubbish. Rather disgusting. May return in the cooler months and have a clean up. Anyway, cache found thankyou.

After doing the fireworks for the Ararat carols last night we decided to come home via a slight detour to pick up some caches along the way.
We pulled up into the gravel storage site to walk to gz and said to ourselves that it's a shame that people are such pigs as there was litter everywhere that spoiled such a great little reserve. The GPSr led us directly to gz for a nice easy find.

Found today while out on a cache run with Cauzsa. After a nice little stroll into the bush we soon had cache in hand. There was a muggle refrigerated trailer in the parking area but no one to be seen.

kicked off the day with a cold wet start Hooked up with the 2 Wanderers while they were up . A short walk in and past a refridgerated truck . nice quick fine always sad to see so much rubbish in parking areas

A quick and easy grab while on the way to Ballarat for an appointment. It still astounds me that people think it's OK to dump rubbish wherever they like!

This month I decided to try for Geocaching's a cache a day for the month of August.
Dianne and I are spending a long weekend in Creswick and neighbouring towns.

We were exploring the town by car when we stopped at the edge of town for this cache. Had a nice walk through the bush to this cache.

Cruising past here it was good to finally have a new cache to find after finding all the close ones long ago.
An easy find at GZ but the GPSr's batteries decided to die just as we found the cache, so it could have taken much longer.

Good spot to stretch the legs in the middle of a long days drive. Nice spot not far off the beaten track.

Suscoe and the sister's first find of many caches today.
The car temperature said minus one degree this morning as we approached Clunes with heavy frost everywhere.
The walk to GZ was slippery with frozen bark shifting below our feet.
A nice quick find here and log signed and cache returned.

How exciting!! We were second to find with FUF009.

After a quick trip into Ballarat it was then off to Creswick to do some cache hunting with our dog Penny on board. We were on our way home when we found this one and it was also our last find for the day.

A good spot to have another cuppa and bikkies before heading for home. While we got these it was FUF009 that went off and located this one and bought it back to the van. And for Penny's last walk for the day we helped put it back.

Found this one on the way home.

we parked here and as the Tyred n Cranky team decided to make the cuppas, they let me retrieve this cache and bring it back to the van.
