Visiting from Wichita, Kansas ... came all the way for Eldorado and to win it big in Vegas ... at least this was a sure deal. Thanks for all the hard (and hot) work.
We found this cache on our weeklong tour of Southern Nevada. Beautiful area and equally perfect weather.
Thank you to Clay4&whtwolfden for placing caches for visitors and locals alike, to find and enjoy.

I have a business meeting in Vegas this week and I came in early to do a little caching. I noticed this series when I was doing some research and knew it would be perfect I landed about 7pm got my rental car and headed out. I arrived at # 442 around 8pm just as the sun was going down. I decided to work backwards since I was by myself. Took me 4-5 to get my legs under me and the road on the first part of the series is a little rough and sandy - was afraid I was going to get stuck a couple times - but, powered through it.
Nice little series - saw 4-5 jack rabbits including one that seemed intent on throwing itself under the car - but after zig zagging back and forth in front of the car about 10 times finally veered off and a few bugs. I am sure that the area is very pretty but, I couldn't see much at night. It was a quiet and cool evening - perfect for caching. I grabbed #236 about 1:30am and decided to head back to the hotel. Many different container types instead of the typical film canisters broke things up a bit.
Hopefully, I will be back Thursday night to finish this series. Thanks for taking the time and effort to put these out and maintain them It is truly appreciated.

The Desert Rats Caching Crew has hit the Eldorado Valley today for another caching adventure. Today we began our journey in Henderson and headed to the area to begin our day We cached today from early in the day to quite late at night.. Thanks.
So today I was Day 5 of the “Desert Rats Caching Crew” (DRCC) caching Expedition to California and Nevada.
The crew consists or MarbleGuy, Firefighter Skippy and I (wawindaji).
So today we started out at 0500hrs in Las Vegas, Nevada, and went out to do the El Dorado series, States series, and Mexican states series. In addition we picked up whatever other caches we could along the way.
Yet another great day of caching, hourly rates was effected by hiking some of the caches and rough terrain on others.
Once again our gas guzzling AWD vehicle did a great job of keeping us out of trouble. By the time we finished up the day at 1830hrs we had well over 700 caches, not a bad day of caching.
As usual I will not discuss the specifics of any cache so as to ensure those that follow may enjoy the experience.
Logs were signed either, DRCC or Desert Rats Caching Crew, depending on space available.
Many thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches.

The DRCC (Desert Rats Cache Crew - myself, Marbleguy, and Wawindaji) Have come west from CT. Today we concentrated on the Eldorodo Series and caches in the area. It was a long day and many of those roads were not much fun to drive. VERY tiring as a mater of fact and slower than we had hoped but we did manage to finish the series. The weather today was sunny, and warm so much nicer than New England where it is still cool (30's at night to @60 in the day). Thanks to the cache owners for placing the caches for us to find.
US14 ET Highway Trip with Sol de Lune and Mtrax. Day 7. We spent today doing a bit more desert caching on the way to Las Vegas via Needles. We managed some of the CCX4 series and caches along highway 95. Thanks.

Heading out of 29 Palms and caching our way towards Needles and then on to Las Vegas. Hit the CCX series and a few other caches along the way.
Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax. Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, Sth & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.
