Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. After 3 months on the geotrail, we're heading west towards home. Just a few days enjoying the Yorke, and we will be off again. We enjoyed the walk out to the cache.TNCU
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. After being in this beautiful State for nigh on three months it is time for us to head back home. Spending a few days in Moonta to cache the surrounds. Thanks for the beautiful views
On a week's Odyssey of caching to Yorke Peninsula with associated sightseeing and cafes along the way. Thanks Brad05.
1.5km walk out and back to this cache, nice view over the water and cache is all good
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

A nice walk along the track which soon enough we had the cache in hand, the log was signed & dated before being returned back to its hiding spot. Definitely a scenic location so thanks for sharing this spot with us.

We very much enjoyed the stroll along the footpath to Ground Zero for this cache, which was then quickly found. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache on this incredibly windy day. Greetings from Zimbabwe
Enjoyed our stroll to the cache. The tide was out but it was still beautiful. Would love to come back and do the whole Clinton-Price walk some day. Thanks for placing a cache here and getting us on the track!

We enjoyed our stroll along the track and we had it all to ourselves, the views are great and the cache was not difficult to spot once we reached GZ. SL TFTC
We were lucky today to have some beautiful weather and great sights to start our relax away with. Nothing better than fresh air with sea freshness to clear the head, and get the family thinking and working right again. Add in cleaning up some caches and its the perfect day, tftc

Today we explored Price and Clinton using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

A pleasant walk from Port Clinton to Price. Thanks for the cache and thanks to those who created and maintain the track. The Walk the Yorke initiative is tremendous.
Geocaching brings together strange groupings - in this case a fish, an owl and a rat - to seek out little boxes hidden around the place.
The owl and the rat have had their share of finds, it's my turn to come up with the goods. Nice location.
Thanks for the cache Brad05.

Off on an overnight adventure with Sushilord and SA Sewer Rats to visit the JLWE event, do cache maintenance and get Owl closer to a milestone. A pleasant walk along a lovely bit of the coast was a welcome break. Owl announced the cache was 4 metres away, but the Fish corrected her to a more accurate 5m. With the cache in his hands, he had to be right! A favourite point for the view alone!
Having stayed in Port Wakefield overnight to got a good head start on the traffic heading to Edithburgh for the JLWE, mogni and I set off early. The only thing standing in our way were several unfound caches. What would YOU do? We stopped and grabbed a few (well more than 40) smilies and about 4 DNF's
Time to get of of the car, stretch the legs and walk the Yorke. This was the second of three caches located on this little stretch of the walk. The cache quickly found It was time to take a photo or two. Dammit. Left my phone in the car on the charger. Just me folks it is well worth the walk!
Thanks Brad05 for bringing us here.

We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( South Australia and Northern Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

Team ICE on a two week geocaching trip in Australia. Our main target was the Red Centre Experience at Alice Springs but of course we did some caching in other places too. We drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs and then back. We saw lots of interesting and beutiful places like opal mines at Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta. Our rental travelled almost 6500km on gravel and tarmac roads. The weather was great, only on last day we got some rain.
All the caches logged as Team Ice, T-ice or Tice with kapeka, laalaa and Hiltsu. We had a great trip!
Our last day in Australia. All fun ends at some point. Today we drove from Port Vincent to Adelaide airport. We still got whole day to spend for caching becouse our flight leaves in the night.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from Finland!

For some reason,
I prefer mangroves to sandy beaches
Nothing much happens on sandy beaches that isn't somehow involved with humans.
Surfing, fishing, lobster imitations, swimming, being eaten by sharks, being stung by jellyfish !!
The list of unpleasant activities indulged in by humans on sandy beaches is endless [:o]
Out in the mangroves there is non-human activity everywhere you look
Crabs, crustaceans, fish, worms, odd looking things that you don't know what they are, mud , more mud , birds, stinky smells, and those pesky mangrove roots that make it hard to walk in bare feet through the mud
Oh and lets not forget mozzies
There are many more pleasures to be enjoyed in the mangroves too
This cache was located on the cliff top overlooking the mangroves !!
So while I had a good view,
I was feeling deprived of some real mangrove enjoyment
Not too worry,
I soon found the cache.
No muddy feet today

**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I did in 2016. I cache with an assortment of cachers and never alone. In 2016 I cached with Moneydork, Ride the GeoWalrus, Locus Cacher, Liz & Bruce and Team Zouk. My log should match up with one of theirs. I enjoy every cache find I have made and do not for one second take for granted the effort going into each one, its just I'm very bad at logging my finds and I'm trying to improve. To improve I have to reduce the quality of my log and just get it over with -- for now. If I can form a good habit again I will return to my once more meaningful logging. Thanks heaps for hiding caches around South Australia that I could find!
A weekend of caching on Yorkes to replace 1 cache of mine down the bottom end.
Freddo came for the ride. As always a great weekend of plastic box searching.was had.
I've been here twice before for an earthcache and a multi. Today made a trifects by getting a traditional.

Off to YP for the weekend with muggle partner and Brodie and what an interesting day it was!
At the tank on Pt Wakefield Rd we pulled up alongside a man and his son looking for the cache only to be met with 'locus'
It was nice to see Diggers09 again as it had been a while since that infamous kayak event at Pt Augusta
On YP itself it was extremely gusty and windy, rainy and then sunshine and then it started all over again.
Coobowie pub for great Calamari Schnitzel with Garlic Prawns for tea then onto Warooka Hotel for the next 2 nights
Due to the weather and the time, only 11 caches were found today
Muggle partner was amazed at how far out the water was as it was low tide when we walked to this cache
Cache found easily in the obvious spot and was in good condition

A quick find and a great walk with excellent views of the gulf and the lovely dense mangroves here. We also grabbed the nearby multi while here so I guess we got 2 for the price of 1 on this walk. Thanks.
Found in the company of Team Crackers and Micaparamedic. Our good luck with the weather continued.
We are catching up with late logs
Day five with Alansee and Micaparamedic we were now based in Wallaroo and this is our second last day on this great peninsula
After collecting the information for the nearby earth cache we headed off over here with a new found respect for mangroves and the part that they play in the eco system. We followed the GPSr needle here and came in a harder way thatn what we needed to but we found our waqy and our initialare now in the log.
>To save room in the logs we signed as M.A.C.( Micaparamedic Alansee and Team Crackers).
Many thanks to Brad05 for placing this cache.

On a caching assault of the Yorke Peninsular with alansee and Team Crackers over the last six days. We have found many caches which have proven enjoyable and sometimes challenging Alansee had worked diligently in planning routes we would take to minimize wasted kilometres driven to find the numbers we have been able to do. Most logs have been signed as MAC (micaparamedic, alansee and crackers)

CPwanderer arrived back in Oz from his US adventure and decided that a trip to the Yorke Peninsula was in order. We decided that it would be nice to join him picking up the few that he hadn't already completed. The sun was shining, the snakes were slithering, and the caching was fun. All is right with the world. We ended up with 62 finds without a DNF, and only had to phone a friend once.
What a wonderful walk. Butterflies, birds, mangroves, cliffs and wonderful blue water. Mrs M raced ahead as Mr M took photos, and CP did... what CP does. TFTC jenkoz. Favourite awarded for bringing us to this area.
