Had fun finding all the clues and got to what was a great looking gz but no success in finding anything
Hi, the shire has been busy gardening around this one a new retaining wall and new batch of mulch around the area.
Hi there AusTrackers.
This is the 1st of 2 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here at around 9:53:00 AM, but we just couldn't locate your cache. It's either not there, a very clever hide or we are just suffering from "cache blindness", so here's a DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

We were in Busselton for a couple of days which was long enough to try for this one. Fortunately we got things right and managed to find the hide right where it said to.

Stayed at Busselton for 6 days and 5 nights - have a time to homework/research - it was good fun.
Getting know this town well by now!!
Thanks for organising the cache, AusTrackers

Tried a quick way to collect the required info by driving down Queen St with the passengers looking for the numbers we needed. We did the calculations and entered the coordinates into the GPS. Headed off to GZ only to discover we were in the middle of a car park - Obviously we went wrong somewhere on the numbers. So off we went down Queen St again but this time on foot to check where we went wrong and came up a different result in a more likely location. Spent a few weeks driving past GZ but with so many muggles day and night, we didn't get chance to check. Surprisingly in the middle of a weekday afternoon, we found GZ quiet so quickly went in for a look and successful find. Thanks AusTrackers for putting this puzzle together.
On a holiday in buselton and went to find this cache. Figured out the answers and got the coordinates wrong. Tried again and got a more plausible coordinate but couldn't find it.
Wet and windy day didn't deter me. Walked the street, grabbed the numbers and went and ordered lunch to do the maths. Wandered off to GZ to find myself standing a car park. Rewalked the street, found my mistake and tried again. This time a quick find. Thanks for the extra walk TFTC
Glad you liked our Albany version AusTrackers. Just had to do yours then. Luckily the holiday Monday morning at 7:30 had nobody around so a quick discreet find was possible.
Great catching up with you at WAGB - it's been too long!

Came past Queen Street today with the sole intention of looking up at the roofs and getting the required info for this puzzle. Had to go back a few times as I simply missed a step, but didn't take too long to have a workable set of coordinates. As I was heading back to the final, I bumped into Mistraluna driving down the road and stopped for a brief chat. Found the cache in good condition and well covered after a busy weekend. TFTC AusTrackers and for the effort put into it, much appreciated! Another fave point for you here.
What an absolutely fab cache..!! Wonderfully set up, please have one of my very treasured FAV points... !!
Solved this one a few years back. Finally had the change to grab it this morning. Quiet at 11am. Found and signed the log while having a late breakfast ... or early lunch. TFTC.
Find 1 of 27 on the day of WA Goes Big 2015. A fantastic day of caching, bike riding and exploring.
Called in here before the event to pick up the previously solved puzzle. Quick find as described.

Addit - Mrs O loved this puzzle. Not being into encryption this was much more her cup of tea. Having done the Albany version she was very pleased to discover this version. Solved at home in time for Pi Day but not collected at the time. Despite not doing the physical leg work it took some time what with repaints and the sun blotting out certain shots but I got there in the end and as we rode our bikes around Busso today it was all very familiar! Have a fav point from me.

We had no problems finding all the buildings and it made us look more closely at the street we have walked many times over the years. However, we could not locate the cache due to a compass that wouldn't stay still and the trillions of muggles! Will try again another time.
In Busselton for Christmas, off on an early morning cache hunt. Found. TFTC. Loved checking out all the buildings.
Down in Busselton For Christmas for a week with the geo family so decided a few caches were in order.
I left the family at home and took the bike for a ride around Busselton to do the multis in town. About 1 1/2 hours riding around, grabbing all the clues needed for the puzzle and multi.
I started at the beach end and grabbed the clues needed on the way up. All were easily spotted.
Once I got to the top, I worked out my answer and grabbed the cache while riding around collecting the clues for the scavenger hunt.
AusTrackers I found your cache Busselton - Queen Street on 22/12/2014 5:49 pm. This is my find #2402 and find #14 today. The cache and log are fine. Thanks for the cache!

In Busso to do a job which I agreed to do before asking where it was, lol.
The wife coincidently had a doctors appointment up here and joined me in my work vehicle for the trip
After a short 40min drive from home in MR, the job was quickly and easily dispatched and found that we had lots of time on our hands while we were waiting for Jacki
Lucky for me that we did, as this took us over an hour to complete successfully
We wandered up and down finding most of the buildings fairly easily, a couple eluded us for a while but we picked them up on the return trip
The first set of co-ords were wrong and took us to a wonderful walkway through a SW Catchments water park, we soon realized something was wrong when the GZ was in the middle of a pond
Going back to pictures G & E we soon worked out where our mistake was and made the required corrections
With now a short walk to the new GZ we found a muggle sitting almost on top of the spot........hmm, ..........better buy a ticket in tonights 10mill lotto
When I returned the area was clear and we were able to search around undisturbed
There were lots of muggles coming past but luckily I had my hi-viz work shirt on and they probably didn't give me a second look
TFTC , gets a fav point from us

Another excellent winter day for a look around Busselton town after lunch.
Hardly any muggles around and a good safe hide at GZ.

After grabbing some dinner at the pub I went for a walk through town to track down some cache clues, for this and the Geo Scavenger Hunt, and see if I could pick up a few caches on the way. As it turns out this was the only cache I managed to find.
I found all the clues up to H easily, but then didn't find J or K, and doubled back after walking up to the jetty and looking around there for a little while. The location of D looks slightly different now after undergoing a paint job, but it's still obvious which building it is.
I was pleased to find I had counted everything correctly, and my coords put me where the cache was hidden!
I enjoyed this puzzle, and hope I get the chance to complete the Albany one someday. Thanks for the cache AusTrackers!

A quick dash to Bunbury for the Maker Madness Event with BettyBoo3747.
Lovely weather, some new friends, and a collection of interesting caches on the way back.
Hot from doing the Albany version, we tried the Busselton cache.
We collected our clues for this puzzle yesterday, but our GZ didn't look good. Threw ourselves on the mercy of the CO, who replied that night with one count we had done incorrectly. This made a large difference - today we found the cache
Thanks for the fun puzzle, and assistance.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 5935. Having been told about the change of date for the Maker Madness Event by pood yesterday we were pleased that we could now attend the Event. A change of plans and it was up the Highway from Abbey for the day.
Having collected all the information for this one yesterday we seemed to have made an error in one of our observations. After sending our information to the CO we were guided to the error of our ways. We stopped to try again on the way home from Bunbury and this time we were in a completely different area and found after a quick search.
Thanks AusTrackers

After attending the fabulous Capel Caching “C”apers event today it was time to move along.
We decided to head for our old fave Busselton on our way to SA.
Parked in the caravan park and set about writing a list for us to tackle by bike tomorrow. This one popped up and we read the previous logs about muggles making life difficult and decided maybe today being Sunday we should tackle it.
So the geobikes finally came off the bike rack. But then it was flat tyres and batteries all around
Repairs and charging attempted so off we set. Still had problems with 1 of the batteries continually turning off so that became Mr Felix battery and we continued on!
Arrived at the start and sorted our answers out fairly quickly. Duh apparently our first solution was not in riding distance so a recalculation was ordered by the auditor. hmm that seems plausible. off to GZ but the cache was not visible on our first inspection. A closer look after some head scratching thankfully revealed the well hidden cache.
A fave from us for sure.
Thanks again for publishing this for WA goes big in 2013. Cache and log still in excellent condition. See you next month at Murray Bridge

Thanks Austrackers. Cache in good condition.

Our final final for our holiday in busselton.
Found 30 caches and one DNF
We got all the necessary answers for this late at night but was too tricky searching in the dark.
Returned in daylight hours for an easy find.
Cache was partially exposed recovered well
Dropped travel bug I had been holding for too long

I had gathered the required information last week but GZ was not accessible. I have made numerous visits since but GZ is a heavy muggle area. Finally today I saw an opportunity and slipped in to sign the log.
Thanks AusTrackers for the cache.

Solved this one in anticipation of coming to Busselton on a 'gifted' weekend using google. Pleasant early evening stroll to retrieve the cache. Fav from us! SL TNLN TFTC
A lovely spring walk down Queen Street for lunch and coffee, enjoying the sunshine and searching. I very much like the souvenir thanks for the cache and the challenge
Found with the better half after leaving the event.

Loved this trip through the town centre. Thanks for bringing us here through the event. Lots of interesting things to look at in busso.
After a bit of confusion and a little hike the wrong way, we tried again after a quick confer we had the cache in hand. Thanks for taking the time to organise this cache!
The Gypsy and I enjoyed our walk trying to locate the clues, met up with Tuskens 2012 and managed to confuse them too...... but we all got there in the end.

Enjoyed a walk down Queen St with 1Qseeker this morning gathering the required clues. Met Tuskens 2012 along the way and more cachers at GZ. Great cache. A Favorite for this one.
Thanks for the cache Austrackers.
Thanks for the cache Austrackers.
Thanks for the lovely weekend, great to meet people we've only read about or stumbled across in the dead of night chasing fire tacks
In busselton this weekend for the big event, i headed out with Luna Maya and justintime to find some caches. Along the way we met up with Wileyclan who convinced us to try this puzzle. It was a nice walk along queen st getting all the relevant information. We arrived at GZ to start our search, but amongst us, each gps led us somewhere different. Another team soon arrived, made a quick find leaving us second to find. Thanks for bringing us out here austrackers!
We were second to find on this. I was with wileyclan, luna maya and mns13, i got to help finding all the info which was pretty easy. We arrived at the final location before anyone else but while we where looking another team came and made the find first. Thanks for the cache, it has been the best weekend!
A great trek around town. TFTC

Geodad and jnr geoson did this one after dropping Geomum and geo toddler at the rotary markets this morning TFTH
I did the walk with the Dad part of Arnott.family.
Gathered all the info and got back to GZ as a big group were still looking to be ftf.
A shout went out and Sir Snagger had snagged it.
Thanks Austrackers for another great hunt.

Found with duncdonut73 and Fiona. We had a lot of fun looking for the required information, and picked up a few other caches along the way. We turned up at the GZ around 10:20pm and managed to locate the cache quickly. Thanks AusTrackers for a great puzzle and cache!
Had a blast completing this cache with GeologyBoy and Firnsy. It's amazing how beautiful buildings can be when you take the time to look above eye height. Thanks for sharing the local architecture with us AusTrackers!
Down in Busso for the events. Had the most awesome time too. This was one we found on the day of the big event. A whole group of us were wandering around trying to make the numbers work out for us. Some numbers we all agreed on, so we were confident of our easting, but we couldn't come up with a firm southing. So we split the difference and decided to focus our search on the one little park. Was a myriad of places a cache could be hiding too. But yours truly came up with the goods. The thought crossed my mind that I could just sign it and replace the cache without telling any of the others about it, but that would have been just mean. So I shared my success with them all. Thanks for another great cache AusTrackers
Was there to see the FTF, but it was not me. A great cache at a great event.
What a great walk down Queen Street, even the wet weather didn't dampen the enthusiasm tftc
Great hiding place and loved the walk looking at some of the old buildings. Also loved the creative fencing on some of the corners. Had so much fun.
I'm a bit late to log but here it is... FTF!!! Was surprised I got it, especially considering there were a cppl of folk already there but who hasn't found it. So joined in the hunt with my crew and sure enough, there it is! And with an empty log book!!! Was a bit of fun walking along and spring all the other cachers also gathering the answers. No special FTF prize in the cache as the sheet said, but the find itself was enough. TFTC and thanks for a great weekend!
EDIT: FTF & STF certificates and prizes were handed out at the Sunday morning session. A nice surprise and a little aussie flag pin with it. THANKS!

While dodging showers and accompanied by Fairwaydrivers we really enjoyed strolling up Queen St and finding the clues for this puzzle. Found the cache, signed logbook and returned 45 minutes later to stamp the sheet. Have a fav from us

Found in the end with a rather large group who all seemed to be a little meddled. But we worked it out and came up with the hidden cache. TFTC AusTrackers, another great activity.
Well that was a lovely walk which we very much extended thanks to the multi as well and we managed to have some cocktails and a Mexican dinner somewhere along the way before coming back at the end of the night. Nice and quiet at 10.30 on the streets here so we grabbed the cache, did some CITO after some grotty bunch decided to eat their dinner nearby and leave their rubbish in situ, and ended up with our Maccas 30 c cone to end the day. TFTC and walk!
Found @ 17:12!
Find #13 on the day of the big event in Busselton and my 30th birthday!

Found while enjoying the weekend in Busselton for WA goes Big. It was great to meet you at the event.
A great day of caching with MNS13 & Justintime13 after attending Wa Goes Big in 2013. Also practising CITO for the Christmas in July event to come on Sunday. A bit hectic, loving the quality of the hides in Busselton, cold but pleasant winters weather. This was an enjoyable way to learn about the local area. SL TFTC Austrackers
Great time was had by all in between finding other caches....love this type of cache....thanks AusTrackers
This cache was another sub adventure within a mini adventure that I was having with Geology Boy and Tanzanite during the main adventure, which was the Busso event weekend.
Having reconvened the ad hoc team to complete the scavenger hunt, we moved onto this on and parked in the obvious place near the roundabout. Had crossed the road and heading down Queen street when I realised I'd left my print-out in the geo-Camry, so went back for it. Caught up with Geology Boy and Tanzanite quickly because they had stopped to talk with some other caches about the renaming of a section of what used to be Causeway Road to Queen Street.
Then we noticed some rubbish on the ground and realised that we had left our rubbish bags and tongs in the geo-Camry ... I volunteered to go back. By the time I caught up with Geology Boy and Tanzanite, they had grabbed details from first two waypoints. We meandered down the street collecting rubbish and recording waypoint details, only to arrive at a place where Tanzanite had been earlier in the afternoon and someone had remarked that we should look above the door way ... we hadn't taken the hint [:o)] ... but it didn't really matter because we were having an enjoyable time.
Got the details we needed from, but we had to sets of coordinates because we weren't 100% agreed on the correct number at one of the waypoints ... ran into Mistraluna and another team on the way to the final. They had already seen another team grab the final, so knew where it was and confirmed which set of coordinates we should trust.
At the final, we met sugarygoodness and dnanx ... dnanx made the find and we all signed the log.
Thanks for the cache and for another sub adventure AusTrackers

Well a couple of tricky spots, with names similar and thoughts on up, below and next to! Thank you for to the great crew of Geocachers I met on the way who we shared info with along the way.
After battling alternative solutions, sugarygoodness and I eventually went with the flow and uncovered this sneahy hide. Happy BIG event weekend! Cheers
